Based on my experience, I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I made an appointment several days in advance, making sure to book with Jodi. When I got there, one of the ladies (I now realize is the owner) tells me to pick a color. I find 1 color palette at the front desk and was surprised their selection was so limited. I asked if there were other colors, and the same lady pulls out another palette with 100+ colors... A few minutes later she calls me over, and I assume she is Jodi. She starts on my nails, but every 2 minutes she is distracted by either a customer walking in or a phone call. She is hardly concentrating on my nails at all... I can tell she is rushing through the job. Once she's done, I'm absolutely shocked at the end result. She didn't work on my cuticles at all, and there are so many unfilled gaps on my nails. I could have done a better job myself. From reading the others' reviews, I realize she is the owner (Ann). Definitely will not be giving her any more business. I asked for a full set of acrylics and got really half-assed results (My left hand looked better than the right). Charged extra 5 for so-called "coffin" shaped nails. The lady was rude for no reason, when i told her it hurt in the process she responded with "what do you want?!" I just said nothing and proceeded to feel uncomfortable with her doing my nails. The pedicure was delightful though, I would recommend that, it wasn't by the same lady who did my acrylics. Got a new dip set done last week. First time I went in. I asked them to reshape the nail bc it wasn't coffin & they said my fingers were just crooked & my nail beds were different. 1 day later 2 nails break 4 days later 3 more are cracked. Came in and they said " I told you it was too thin". We never had this conversation prior. & I have never had this happen when I've gotten dip on the past. The salon has changed management! Some of the staff is new but I also recognized a familiar face. The new owned, Anne, is diligently trying to improve the salon. I thought it was good before so I'm interested to see what she will do ( so far, she's changed the decorations on the wall). I believe prices have been increased slightly as well, by a few dollars. I had my shellac mani done by Anne. She did a very through job with good attention to detail. My only suggestion would be to go a little gentler on the cuticles, at times I felt like they were being pulled. The reason I am docking a star is due to lack of fresh air. All the doors and windows were shut so the salon smelled very strongly of chemicals. I was contemplating whether to stay or go but I really wanted to get my nails done for a special occasion so I stated. However, I would not subject myself to breathing in such harsh chemicals on a regular basis. Please get some ventilation!! Otherwise, great job! read more

I felt so badly as Rosie did such a great job on my nails but Anne re-did my nails spending another hour on me making sure I loves it. which I do. So I went in today with my grandma for her birthday. Her service was great (Tea took great care of her) . My service was terrible. The women that helped me rushed me out! They didn't even give me an option for which pedicure I want. She quickly rushed through the basic pedicure and finished before I even realized I wasn't given a choice. When I was finished with my pedicure they didn't even wash the basin that my feet had been in. And I watched them stick someone else's feet in a basin that had just been used by someone else.... without washing it. I then got an acrylic fill on my hands. They charged $45 because I "had 3 broken nails".... what?! An extra $20 because of broken nails?! I've never had that happen at a salon in my life! I also left with crooked nails and they weren't even painted all the way. (I tried posting a picture but my phone won't focus) they also charge an extra $2 on every service if you use your credit card. Overall the service received by my grandma and the service received by myself was like night and day. I'm concerned about the cleanliness of this place, they rush you out and they overcharge for way too much. I will not be back. read more

This place is awesome. The staff is very sweet. It's in my vicinity. The service was wonderful. Loved getting pampered by Anne. She was so kind and sweet. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family. The one thing I found was a bit different at this place was that you have to pay an extra $5 for cuticle removal. Everywhere else I have gone in the past, cuticle removal is included in a manicure so I guess it all evens out with the pricing. It initially feels like it's a cheaper price but you add a couple other things here and there and it all comes out to be the same as other places. I was extremely satisfied with the services. They were nice and focused. I felt bad for Jodie when I left my massage chair at MAX and she struggled to get an even coat onto my nail. New owners as of 2 months ago and almost all new employees, so I've been told. The increase in number of girls immensely helps with the wait time issue by leaps and bounds -- huge plus! Tons of quality varnish and I can't wait to slowly try them all out. Linh was a doll. Spent two hours meticulously grooming my winter toes (poor girl) and sculpting a beautiful full gel set for me. The one negative is the slight price increase... $18 for a pedicure, $28 for the gel set, and $5 for nail design (which is standard). Not sure how much a regular manicure is, but I'll update that info the next time I come in to get girly-fied. 8/6 was my first time here (I tried to make myself like this place) BUT overall I was not impressed & a week later my nails aren't holding up to par w/ what I am used too. . . People rave about the prices but my soak off & Ombre full set was over $60 and to me that is overpriced considering what I'm used too and what I usually get done! PS I went to cosmetology school over 4 years ago && worked at a salon previously & I am very knowledgable with salon material, pricing, products, and what goes into how a salon is run etc & I purposely didn't share what I know because this tells me if they care about their customers or if they're trying to make quick $$... the pregnant lady (who I'm assuming is the owner?) was trying so hard to convince me about what it was I was paying so much for and was rambling about the quality of their work&products they use. She's here like every month as she says to get her nails did in all different colors and such. So she brought me to this place as our ritual sister bonding manicure pedicure session. We went around noon on a weekday and it wasn't that busy as we were able to sit right away and start on our pedicure. I forgot who was working on me but she did a good job in cleaning all my cuticles and a clean finishing to my nails. I got some kind of hot red for both my fingers and toes. They convinced me to get gel nails for my fingers which costs a little more but it lasts longer. And sure enough it's been 2 weeks and I haven't had a chipped nail yet or the polish and it still amazingly looks glossy. The prices are fairly reasonable compared to other salon shops I've been to. I paid around $90 for both my sister and I's mani and pedi as she got a refill and a change of color for her set. I usually get a design but I decided to keep it simple to a plain color. There's lots of colors to choose from and a nail sample color to browse through as well. The nail shop is a little small but there were several stations that could cater to at least 5 at a time. I was pleased for the express pedi option as I don't need my pedi's to be super long with all the extra, however I was shocked when she added on $5 because I wanted my toes different colors. For years I've been getting 4-5 different colors for my toesies, and have never been charged more. Unbelievable. Also, nail techs...we know you are usually rushing, but when you crank up the hot tools it burns through our nails. I've told several techs all over the country to use the slower setting, but of course it slows them up and it's all about the turnover. SMH. One girl gasped at her nail/skin being burnt.
