These guys are AMAZING. I recently relocated from Grand Blanc to the Bay City area. I called other…read morewell known companies in the area to get a quote and was told the total charge would be upwards of $1,500. I was also told that for moving this distance (approximately 70 miles) it was standard for companies to charge for the weight of the truck once it's loaded, milage, an hourly base rate, and additional fees like having to travel up stairs. I was flabbergasted. I called this company just to see what they had to say, expecting the same answer I had gotten from multiple other sources, and was shocked when they told me they would charge $80 flat rate, no other fees (they told me they even do out of state moves at that rate too!). The last time I moved, I paid $300 for a U-Haul and had to move everything myself. At the end of the day, I paid these guys $480 for six hours of labor and they took care of everything. Not only was their rate the most competitive, their movers were THE NICEST guys. They got right to work and didn't try to waste time, but were super personable and chatted with me and my Dad the whole time. They knew what they were doing, took ridiculously good care of my furniture (even the cheap-o particle board stuff they wrapped up and took precautions with), and even thanked me and my Dad when we carried boxes to the truck. I honestly can't say enough nice things about this company and I wish them all the luck in the world. Every single penny of that $480 was worth it and I will recommend them to anyone who will listen!

This last week I had the fortune of getting a newer sectional couch from my neighbor. However, I am up in the years and no equipment to move it down one driveway and up another. I reached out to John, the owner, who still had my number saved and explained my small need but in a big way needed assistance. John was able to give me a fair price and time frame under 72 hours to complete our needs. His crew of Shawn, Brad and Kayden were energetic and happy to help. I would definitely recomment Personal Touch Movers, John and crew to anyone.

We are missing a lot of important things. This was a 10 mile move, not long distance. We tried to…read morecommunicate with John, the owner, but all he would say was that he has been in business for 34 years! I guess he thinks that makes him above making a mistake. Then his wife came to get paid and she was hostile and demanding. I told her we needed to discuss the fact that we had items missing and she pointed to 2 tall boxes and rudely said "you aren't unpacked" I replied that we had opened the boxes and replaced the items in the boxes and the silverware was not in either box. She demanded payment, I handed her the check and she stormed off shouting for us to never contact them and that she HOPED MY DOG GOT SICK! They packed the rooms that have items missing, a huge set of good silver, a credit card that was just received and still in the envelope with things in our desk, a big three ring binder type check book as well as other contents in the desk. My tote bag that contained personal items, think purse, is also missing. Why would they even think I would want them to move that? When I mentioned it to the wife her rely was "if it was in the office and they were packing the office they had a right to move it." We had other issues with them, they used an excessive amount of paper, which made more boxes and then charged more than the contract. When I say excessive I mean 20 to 30 sheets of paper in the bottom of the box, 6 full size sheets per light bulb, multiple sheets on Tupperware, and 20 to 40 sheets on top of the items in each box. Every box items were wrapped in excess. The other issue is they did not put down runners the day they packed and my light colored carpet is filthy, it did not have black streaks on the edges of the steps and the back of each step where their feet hit it, overall the carpet is very dirty and it was not before they packed. They packed on Sept.15 and moved us the next day. All boxes have been opened and these items are not here. They will not return our calls or text. When all a man can say in response to our concerns is that he has been in business for 34 years I think he has more ego than knowledge. At least respond to your client who trusted you with their possessions.
