They accepted the task and made it happen. On top of the performance, they called to confirm pickup, called an hour from the destination, and called to confirm delivery once it was made. I first called on Metro Delivery to bring over a Cost Plus World Market couch; they showed up in the scheduled window and carried it into the room still boxed, which made things easy. Next up are some storm windows, which would have fit in my last car, but are just barely too large for this one. Scheduled-for-the-future delivery is pretty cheap; prices go up as you get into same day, 4-hour, or rush orders. Bit of a niche business, but it's a niche I need --- I'll be back.
