What an eye opening experience here. It was a beautiful day so we sat at the bar that is outside, facing inside. Our waiter/bartender Eric made our experience even better. He recommended the pizza we got that comes with honey on top and he was right, it was a winner. A major winner!! Right outside of this restaurant in the walking area are several fun things such as a hugh fire pit and also the game you throw the bag into the board with the hole (for the life of me, I cannot remember the name). Anyways Eric said you can order drinks from us and sit out front and partake in the activities there. He also said thru have live music starting at 5:00 which is my jam. I can't do these live music events starting at 9:00pm anymore. Anyways this place was great on atmosphere, food and of course Eric the bartender. Citizen Crust will leave you wallet empty but the portion sizes ensure your stomach will be full. I had the Smash Burger and the empanadas. The burger was solid and the empanadas average but good. We went here last evening on a whim. The vibe was great for a Friday evening. We had no issues finding a table for 4. We ordered chicken wings and Greek style fries. Easily the best restaurant in Patriot Place! This restaurant had a mix of everything - contemporary flavors, classic menu items, and delicious, delicious pizza! The service is timely and I've been with parties of two, parties of twelve, and on event days and there hasn't been a drop in food quality or service time. On Wednesdays, there is trivia and we go occasionally to play which is really fun. If there were any restaurant I could choose to go to at Patriot Place, this would be the one! read more

What a cool place! Stopped here while at Patriot Place with some friends. The environment is fun and the music was very trendy. We had some drinks and pizza - we can't wait to go back to try some other things on the menu. The pizza was served with scissors to cut which was pretty unique. If you order a pie while sitting, the smallest is like 4 slices I think. Prior to take out, we Sat at the outside bar window and had a drink, ice cubes in my drink had a foreign object in it. My friend's drink had a dead fly. Servers seemed to hang more towards the service station versus the window where we sat. As we sat people watching at the bar, we saw a server (with man bun) go to the bar for drinks, stick a straw in a drink and taste it before bringing to a customer, also watched this same server pick fruit up without gloves or tongs or anything, and throw it back in the bar fruit box, then selected a different fruit. Stopped in for a quick bite while shopping and have to say I would not go back. It was very crowded but we got a table right away. Our server stopped by quickly but that was the last positive thing to say. We ordered an appetizer and two sandwiches. He forgot to bring the appetizer and brought it after the sandwiches (and took it off the bill.) The cauliflower app was fine-not very crispy and a bit too sweet. My falafel wrap was dry and unappealing. The meal came with fries but we had to ask several times for ketchup and by the time it was brought the fries were cold and inedible. They had some outdoor seating and we had to wait a little bit for an outdoor table, but we didn't wait too long. The server we had was okay. She started out really friendly and helpful, but then she disappeared for the longest time. We couldn't get anyone to help us for the longest time (we were going to order another drink!) and eventually went inside to the bar to pay. I used to be a big fan of this place when they opened but went last night with a friend from out of town for the first time in a while. The food was ok - maybe a 3.5/5 for the price which is a bit high (but it's not lost on me that we are next to Gillette stadium). Food wasn't bad, wasn't great. Drinks need a little work. They are a bit unbalanced but I appreciate the many options and the effort put into them. Had to knock the rating down for the fruit flies. My god - we moved from our first table to another and then to another clear across the restaurant. Come to find out they were following my friend's drink! It was a smoky/sweet mezcal drink I believe. It was so bad that he had to literally put his drink at the bar without finishing it. On the way to the bathroom, I saw other people with sweeter drinks (wine, etc) also swatting at them. We are talking 10-15 hovering around a table of 3. The only thing I can think of is that their bar is generating them and they are following the sweet smell of sweet drinks. I think the bar must need a cleaning, never seen anything like it even with restaurants that open their doors for the summer. There's lots of outdoor dining in MA and this was just absurd. Service was accommodating but I think the problem is a little deeper - they def need to find the source. read more

I'm just going to jump right in and say THE CARNE ASADA FRIES ARE THE BEST FRIES I'VE EVER HAD ! and I've eaten a bunch of fries in my day. My husband, toddler, and I came in after the Revs game to avoid traffic. We were seated right away by the friendly hostess, and my daughter was given crayons and a coloring sheet. A lot of the apps sounded fantastic, but we ended up going with the buffalo cauliflower. We both enjoyed it, although it was a bit pricey for the portion size. I love the concept of the pizza coming in sheets with scissors! We ordered a half sheet of The 'Ono which came with pineapple, carmalized onion, bacon crumbles, and korean bbq sauce. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, but my husband thought the bbq sauce was a bit overpowering. All in all, it's a great option in the area with friendly service and an expansive menu. First time coming here and will not be returning. Before even coming in, we called to see what wait times were looking like... they said 15-20 minutes or no wait for outside heated seating. In return I asked if we could make a reservation. They said no, they couldn't make a reservation. Okay.. so then I asked about whether or not the outdoor seating was warm enough for a baby since we were with a baby. They said we could come in and feel it out for ourselves. Upon coming in, no one was sat in the "heated" outside seating because it was FREEZING. You're kidding right? Not only that, but now we're forced to wait for a table while holding a baby and not being able to sit because even there hallway of a "waiting" spot is right infront of the door that's constantly opening and COLD. Asked if we could at least sit inside since we have a baby and they said no, we had to stand. Ridiculous. Waited the 15 minutes contemplating on going home. They called us, and then seated us. No highchair for our baby. This is not a child friendly restaurant & that's wild in 2024. It's a pizza place... get some highchairs. You have tables and chairs but no highchairs?? We ordered pizza that was mostly overcooked bread. Like no sauce and little to no cheese. Would not order again. Cauliflower that was just ok and garlic parm wings that were actually really really good. The hassle we had to go through just to eat here on a freezing Friday night was not worth it. Went through all of that just to be met with bare minimum food (excluding the wings) not worth it at all. This was not the most awesome dining experience. First the menu itself was trying too hard, so much so that it's tough to read due to the format as well as the selections. Our service was also ridiculously slow, it was well over 10 minutes for us to get our drinks after we ordered them and a closing in on a half hour waiting for our food. I was expecting a lot more flavor and texture and all around goodness from the food itself. The Oho pizza was all crispy dough with very little topping. Lastly it was over priced for what we got. Right outside the stadium have a bunch of restaurants and bars and shops and fun things to do so it was an excellent experience. So for dinner we decided to get pizza because we enjoy pizza of course and we got citizen crust pizza. My boyfriend and I love having date nights here! It's also an awesome spot for my sober friends to link up and share a meal. The staff is always super-friendly and helpful. The ambience depends on the day/night but it's generally warm and friendly. I love when the outdoor seating/bar area is open. The wall art is epic as well. Their menu is beyond creative, their drinks are varied and unique, and the people that work there have always been very nice. This weekend we went after the Revs game and each had a couple drinks and we all shared Crack Curds, Sticky Icky Ribs, and Skewers. While they were out of the Tandoori Beef Skewers, the Tsukune Meatballs and Tunisian Spicy Chicken ones were tasty. I loved the Meatballs but thought the Chicken was pretty bland but my boyfriend loved both. The Sticky Icky Ribs were cooked to absolute perfection! Talk about fall off the bone! Crack Curds totes Ghost Pepper Sea Salt making me think they'd be spicy but there was, alas, zero spice. Can there be negative spice? I had a couple hard seltzers and then the bartender was kind enough to make me a hot toddy because I was cold - it was by far the best I've had anywhere. This place is a very solid A. Despite having an issue with the fruit-flies of the day, I couldn't be any more serious stating how spectacular this place is. The drink menu was great and everything after was so much better than we even expected. They have only been here for about a year and to serve the pizzas they do, good god you wonder how its been kept from us for as long as it has been. We started with the Sexy Cauli and it was so well prepared we couldn't believe it. The sweet garlic sauce was perfection and the well sized order was gone in a short time. They let the pizza dough properly ferment for 48 hours before serving anything on it (and let me tell you it sits so well on you to begin with) and it tastes like a dream. We will seriously be back in a short time. The South of the Border pizza we had was like nothing else, spicy, sweet, full of a tanginess that you can only think of as a Mexican flavor. Ricotta was mixed with oregano which was odd. Just as a test we brought it home to our 21 year old daughter. My husband and I took our 18 month old and 4 year old to Bass Pro shops for pictures with Santa and ordered a pizza ahead because we know they would be hungry and it takes a while for the pizza to cool down enough for them to eat. We were planning to get drinks and eat before seeing Magic of Lights. When we arrived, to a completely empty restaurant, we were told that we could not sit and eat. We asked for the manager, who would not come out but the staff continued to say that "order ahead" can't sit at the tables even after explaining we were still ordering. We've heard so much about this restaurant- went with my mom for a late lunch. Everything was top notch- ambiance, our server and hostess was FANTASTIC. Our waitress made excellent recommendations from the menu and readily made adjustments for our tastes- ie: swapping out or eliminating spicy items like dips and cheeses. What a fantastic experience. After seeing a spot on Phantom Gourmet, I had to try Patriot Place's newest restaurant. I was not disappointed! I absolutely loved the vibe and ambiance of this restaurant. The wall murals are gorgeous, colorful and the layout of the restaurant really makes it a fun space. The staff were very friendly and made recommendations for each course and they were spot on with each! We started with the wings and Greek fries. The fries themselves were excellent- I could've ate them plain. The taziki sauce was on point for dipping. Wings weren't spicy but excellent flavor. The sauce was exceptional. I could've put that on everything! The espresso martini was good- pretty much all alcohol based as they do not use espresso coffee, but they use an espresso liquor. The winner of this meal? THE PIZZA. I've never been to Rome, but from what I hear, this is as close as you will get it without hopping on a flight to Italy. Portions are massive and you get to cut your own slices with scissors. *Trust me and try the Citizen Pie. This has whopping dollops of ricotta, pepperoni and hot honey. Even if you don't like a kick, the flavor is unbelievable. The dough is fermented and was noted to improve digestion and making dough lighter. As someone who loves pizza, but it always gives me an issue with digestion, I did not have that issue with Citizen Crust pizza. I can not wait to go back. I went out to patriots place to go to citizens crust ... only because Phantom Gourmet said they have an amazing chicken sandwich.. so that's what I wanted. Once seated I order the sandwich and it comes out and I'm like DAMN, the pictures are accurate. I cut it in half and take a bite and look at it.... it's pink.. undercooked. I let the waitress know and they go ahead and make me another one. It takes 9 minutes to come out. During those 9 minutes I hear the kitchen swearing and yelling, we were one of 4 people in the restaurant... she brings it over, it looks better than before, I cut it in half... even more undercooked than the first one. For those of you who watch Phantom gourmet, Citizen Crust was featured during one of their episodes. My mouth was watering watching these pizzas being made. They had everything from all cheese to Meat, Veggie and other toppings that I didn't think would pair well on a pizza.We tried the Ono (half) note that you can either order a half or a full. The half is perfect for 2 to 4 people and the full serves more than 6, it's really big. What's very unique about this pizza place is they bring you a pair of scissors to cut the which is perfect for those that want to choose a smaller or larger size bite. We thought it was a little awkward at first, but once you take your first bite of this pizza you forget all about how to cut it. Definitely my favorite pizza place so far. I've ordered take out from Citizen Crust before. The restaurant has options for just about anyone, whether you're vegan or an omnivore. I ordered a 1/2 veggie pizza for my elderly Mom after taking her for her COVID vaccination. Unfortunately, I didn't check the pizza until getting home. Most of the pie was so burnt, that it wasn't edible. I called the restaurant to let them know how burnt the pie was. The manager I spoke with, Alan, apologized and said he would refund my debit card for the inedible pie.
