I shop at Target stores all over the country and I rarely do reviews for them but this one deserves…read moreit. I had two great experiences back to back. I just got back from out of state and had to pick up some things for my son's house so I placed a drive up order. Things were hectic so by the time I picked up, I forgot it was a drive up and we went in to get it. Brooke helped us out and when I realized it was a drive up I apologized but she said it was ok and had me switch it. In this particular store, drive up is on the opposite end of the building. Which means she knew she had to walk all the way to the other side just to get my order and she did not complain for one second. Even when she got back she was so nice and still had a smile on her face. Fast forward to the next day. I had to stop in to return something and grab some more things. My return went well even though the sticker was missing on the item. He just had me pull up the DPCI from my app. I did not get that gentleman's name but service was good. I went in looking for two specific items and a bunch of other random things. When I couldn't find one, I stopped and asked an employee if he could help me locate one. My app showed several in stock, but I didn't see any on the floor. He checked and found one in the back then loaded it on the cart for me. I didn't think to get his name but he was helpful. After shopping around for way too long, I headed to the checkout, but only self checkout was available. The gentleman working self checkout seemed busy and I didn't want to tie him up with one order because I had a handful of items that required a price adjustment. So I went to customer service to see if any other registers would be opening up. Alex was at the counter and said he could help me out right there. He was so nice and didn't make me feel like a bother at all. I know it is inconvenient to scan items and bag them with that small counter area at customer service but he was happy to help. He was so friendly and patient about the whole thing. I know by this point you're thinking that I am a high maintenance customer but this is not the norm for me which makes this experience even better. These employees deal with irritating, entitled, rude customers all day, and they still made time to make me feel like I wasn't a pain in the you know what. This is the type of service that made me love Target so many years ago but today there are many locations that do not meet the same standard. Now about the store itself - The store was clean and organized. I passed a few other employees and didn't get the standard greeting but at least they were all working instead of standing around like I've seen at some stores. Things were stocked and the clearance shelves were pretty neat. I did not check out any of the fresh meat or produce items so I can't speak on that. So all in all, I like this location.

And she was not lying, the Amazon return center is in the far back left corner of the store. Now I was there to return hangers, which required 4 bags because let's face it hangers don't lay nicely in a box. After 3 long trips (I would say I walked close to half a mile between my car to the back of the store) my legs were tired and the return complete. Here is my two cents, after I spent close to 20 minutes lugging all of my things to the back of the store, I was tired, annoyed and didn't want to shop which is my guess for why they put it in the back of the store to begin with - tons of returns = tons of eyes on product... but I think it's working against you due to the fact you're angering the person returning the items. Take Whole Foods for example, their Amazon return right at the front. Once my item is returned, I can relax and look around. If they knew their systems were compromised, they should have taken them offline immediately. Instead, they left customers exposed and unprotected. This isn't a small mistake. This is a complete failure to safeguard the people who trust them with their information. Meijer didn't just drop the ball, they abandoned their responsibility entirely. Here's what I suspect (and I say "suspect" because customer service never explained): the bag was on display in the store for a prolonged period of time and suffered sun damage.
