Don't bother to order curbside pickup unless you have the app, they don't answer the phone. Just a recording telling me to hang up and dial again.....and again.....and again. Meanwhile I sent someone in who bought the items I'd preordered while I sat in the car trying to pick them up. Let's be fair to Walmart, ok? For a Walmart, the Grove City, OH location is a very doable option for picking up what you need, without the fear of walking into a bad neighborhood, so to speak. They generally have what you need, the folks that work there do their best, all things considered. All in all, I get in and out fairly quickly, and they have what I need most all the time. I paid the annual fee for free delivery. Maybe THAT is my problem. I pick my delivery time when I place my order. About 80% of the time, I get an email that there will be a two hour delay. I was not too happy with my visit to this Walmart store. Sure it's got plenty of parking. It's got a decent amount of parking too but that's about it. The staff here was unhelpful throughout my visit. Their alcohol selection really stinks. They lacked alot of food options. This is a really big Walmart too so it's also easy to get lost here. My friend and I went to self check out where I paid for my 3 items on one transaction and then my friend tried to purchase a bottle of wine on the next transaction. After we were approached by two employees who were both minors (can't ring up our wine), and a long wait for someone older to assist we decided to leave the wine and just leave. However, on our way out we were then stopped by an older employee to check my receipt (first transaction) as one of the minor employees yelled across the store accusing me of not paying. I complied showing my receipt and left. I am a retail manager myself and that is NOT okay! That was embarrassing and I was falsely accused. If your minor employees can't check someone out or can't handle monitoring 4 shelf checkouts then don't place them there! Do better Walmart! read more

This Walmart has disappointed me in a lot of ways but what I saw on August 2nd 2018 was the final nail in the coffin. I am a animal lover.. to the extreme and even though fish aren't what you would first think of when it comes to issues with "animal abuse" .. they have feelings and experience pain! I seen Betta fish , in tiny plastic containers ( like in most Walmart) BUT they were not with the other fish but in the isle with clearance pet items ! With NO lightning and no way of being seen by people ( yet less be adopted) because they were in a clearance isle! The worse part was that they barely had enough water to cover their bodies!! ( see photo).. the water did NOT get this low in one day , these fish have been neglected! The water level is going to be too low within a day ! This is disgusting! If they are neglecting them to the point of letting the water get this low , you can safely assume they aren't feeding them ! Former Walmart employee here. I hate this company with a passion and dislike any of its stores as a general rule. It's definitely saying something if I'm willing to give one of its stores a good rating! It's a shiny new store, but it's the nicest Walmart I've ever been in and the only one worthy of a 5-star rating. It's huge and clean, with plenty of space to move around and get around other customers in the grocery aisles. Nice change from the cramped quarters in other Walmarts. The deli is huge and open, and all merchandise the deli department is responsible for is stocked near the deli, whereas with other locations, you have to walk over to the meat department to find something. I would've sold my soul to work in the deli at this store; the open back area means the deli workers can't hide in the back and eat/ignore customers, because the customers can see them, which in turn means no one person is doing all the work. =D I have yet to find nasty produce at this store. It's still not as good as what you'll find at Meijer or Giant Eagle, but in comparison to that found at other Walmarts, this is the best. Unlike other Walmarts I've been to, this one has the most sensible layout. Let's just say that similar products are stocked in the same general location, especially in grocery. It's helpful to both employees and customers. As a customer, I like being able to find things easily. It takes maybe 10 minutes of searching for something at this store, versus a half-hour to an hour at another. The cashier that checked us out tonight was slow and didn't bag our items correctly, but generally the cashiers at this store move along at a good rate and there are always more than three lanes open at any given time - another nice change from other Walmarts. The other employees I've interacted with have been helpful and polite. No major complaints here. Lastly, other customers. You see a few rednecks and wannabe-hoodlums, but not as much as at other stores. Apparently they're not catering to ghetto trash? Judging from the look of the store, it definitely seems that way. It might be a bit of a drive for some people, but if you need a Walmart that isn't dirty or full of morons, this is the store to go to. read more

I was in this store last night. This is THE GO to if you want to find racks of cheap Clearance for misc, women men kids and shoes. The lawn garden has racks on back and always in the clothing. This store marks things down last and not as often as other Columbus area stores so if there is a special item in apparel or shoes or seasonal you look for, find it here. I found the athletic outfit I wanted that was sold in other ones and also the pool chair mats I buy every year. But beware the store is a mess and looks like a yard sale on any given night. read more

Three different times I have gone to this location and while shopping I stopped and used the rest room. It is by far one of the dirtiest rest rooms I have ever been in. The rest stops are cleaner than these disgusting out houses. They are not cleaned through out the day. Smears of something all over the doors, toilet paper all over every floor, the garbages overflowing with dirty paper towels. I didn't even want to touch the handle to close the door. This says a lot about the management here. To top it off, when I walked in the bathroom today, there was a male wal mart employees standing in the women's restroom texting when I walked in and I said "excuse me" then he left and acted like he didn't know he was in the women's restroom. read more

There experience was the worst customer experience I have ever had. The clerks in the store have no idea where drills are in the store. It took for 4 clerks to finally direct me to where the drills. Finally after finding the drills only to find that the drills were locked up. I had to call the store 4 times to ask for someone to come to drills to unlock the case. The receptionist for the phone keep hanging up after each time I called. I had four different people to come unlock the case. Nobody could be unlock and I was told except the manage who Never came. Already 45 minutes in the store. After the last person who could not unlock it I was told they would come back with a manager. The manager never came. So I went to the front seat to find the manager. The manager, Deede came out and was obviously was waiting for me to come to the front desk She said the lock was broken and I could not purchase a drill She asked what else I wanted. I have been here many times by myself and with my husband. Almost every time, when I'm with my husband, we get stopped at the door while leaving to have our receipt checked. I understand the point of doing so and I wouldn't have an issue if there didn't feel like more to it. Every time, there are other customers around us leaving with carts stacked full of items or with large electronics. However, for some reason, we are singled out for the "stop" even with minimal food items. In addition to being stopped, they don't just check your receipt and nod you off like when you're at Sam's club. They heavily inspect our receipt and our cart. Then they have proceeded to practically interrogate why certain items were rung up as they were. As if we were running the register? If you want to know why x item was rung in x way then maybe you should take it up with the actual cashier. It feels so ridiculous each time and the tone is hardly friendly in nature. My husband and I come to purchase items and treated like equals among other customers. We do not come to have someone make us feel like we are trying to cheat the company or steal. We also come to quickly pick up a few items and get on to our next errands. It's not pleasant to sit through intense inspections each time we have to make a visit. I will not mention our races or the races of the many customers around us that simply get left alone...however, it has come to my attention during the instances described and that's the only thing I can think of for why we've been treated accordingly. When I'm without my husband, I'm never stopped. They need to consider better training for employees on how they stop customers and the tone in which they utilize. Likewise, there should be a bigger consistency in the people that are stopped. I have not experienced this at other Walmart locations but only the grove city location. read more

Today was the second time I've dealt with unnecessary bigotry from the workers. And I've been here only 4 times. Is it really hard to be polite, smile, and attentive to a non-white individual? A white woman and her white baby were in front of me and the cashier was as sweet as could be with them. I come up smiling expecting happy grandmotherly treatment and she wouldn't even make eye contact, looking away and very unhappy. If this happens again I will take it up with their district manager.. This overt bigotry is unacceptable in this day and age. If you're at work, act professional, attentive, and respectful to every individual. It may seem as though I am overreacting but coming from customer service and being very familiar with walmarts typically high quality of service in california, I expect the same consistent customer service nation wide. Very rude staff could not correct, said it was to protect my CC, bull crap, Walmart requires u to show ur I'd, if at that time it didn't match cc then so be it but it does and now we r left scrambling for shelter. Normally i hate going in here because it is packed and theres like one freakin cashier working so it takes FOREVER...So i was on a mission in search of 100cal Hostess cakes and the only place i know that carries them is walmart so i had to venture in...and i was pleasently surprised! Only reviewing the Tire and Lube express never looked at the rest of the store. I stopped here because of the $16.88 oil change special. The cashier that took my info was very friendly told me it would be about 25 minutes for the oil change. As I walking outside the guy took my van in and less than 15 minutes I was on my way. The associates working here are on a whole different level than I am used to at a store like this. Normally I would of never stopped here and looked for a local chain. At the time I was in the area I could not find anything convenient so this location was a fantastic find for me. read more

Ugh, if there is something good to be said about this store or Walmart in general I have yet to find it. The store is a mess, the shelves are poorly stocked, the staff is miserable. I have even tried the ship to store so I can avoid most of these issues only to wait up to 45 mins while one person works the desk in the phot area for pick ups regardless of how many are waiting in line. Even worse, it seems that there is no organization behind that door when they go to retrieve your order. Just had the WORST experience for a Walmart. I was purchasing an HDMI cord and wanted to have it unlocked and removed from the security box. I went to the nearest employee to get assistance and all I got out of my mouth was "excuse me ma'am" and she interrupted with "I can't help you I'm helping someone else". Her name was Heaven. I awkwardly waited until Bryce (who was also helping someone else) was nice enough to multitask and simply help me with a 3 second process. I thank Bryce for learning how to at least hear a customer out even when busy. read more

I would give it a 0 if I could. My husband and I were comparing prices for a TV, while talking to the employee in the electronics section, he had something hanging out of his nose (looked like a white chunk of something), while we were still talking to him, watched him wipe it off with his finger, and hold it in between his index finger and thumb only to have it put in his mouth and chewed a couple minutes later. It was the most HORRIBLE thing I have ever witnessed. We also bought 4 packs of cookies (peanut butter Oreos as Walmart is the ONLY place we can find them), only to get home and find out that one of the packs had been opened and someone had taken a few of them apart, ate the middle and put the two cookies back.
