I shop at Target stores all over the country and I rarely do reviews for them but this one deserves it. I had two great experiences back to back. I just got back from out of state and had to pick up some things for my son's house so I placed a drive up order. Things were hectic so by the time I picked up, I forgot it was a drive up and we went in to get it. Brooke helped us out and when I realized it was a drive up I apologized but she said it was ok and had me switch it. In this particular store, drive up is on the opposite end of the building. Which means she knew she had to walk all the way to the other side just to get my order and she did not complain for one second. Even when she got back she was so nice and still had a smile on her face. Fast forward to the next day. I had to stop in to return something and grab some more things. My return went well even though the sticker was missing on the item. He just had me pull up the DPCI from my app. I did not get that gentleman's name but service was good. I went in looking for two specific items and a bunch of other random things. When I couldn't find one, I stopped and asked an employee if he could help me locate one. My app showed several in stock, but I didn't see any on the floor. He checked and found one in the back then loaded it on the cart for me. I didn't think to get his name but he was helpful. After shopping around for way too long, I headed to the checkout, but only self checkout was available. The gentleman working self checkout seemed busy and I didn't want to tie him up with one order because I had a handful of items that required a price adjustment. So I went to customer service to see if any other registers would be opening up. Alex was at the counter and said he could help me out right there. He was so nice and didn't make me feel like a bother at all. I know it is inconvenient to scan items and bag them with that small counter area at customer service but he was happy to help. He was so friendly and patient about the whole thing. I know by this point you're thinking that I am a high maintenance customer but this is not the norm for me which makes this experience even better. These employees deal with irritating, entitled, rude customers all day, and they still made time to make me feel like I wasn't a pain in the you know what. This is the type of service that made me love Target so many years ago but today there are many locations that do not meet the same standard. Now about the store itself - The store was clean and organized. I passed a few other employees and didn't get the standard greeting but at least they were all working instead of standing around like I've seen at some stores. Things were stocked and the clearance shelves were pretty neat. I did not check out any of the fresh meat or produce items so I can't speak on that. So all in all, I like this location. read more

My wife and I are in our mid 60's. We went to the Grove City Target on June 7 around 11:30am. We were looking for 4 patio chairs, at least one patio table and cushions. I asked twice for someone to help us take the chairs up to the check-out and out to the car. After about 20 mins, no one came to help us and we put 4 chairs and a table in a cart by ourselves and went up front. At the cash register, I asked for the store manager to explain my displeasure of their customer service. The cashier told me I had to go to the Service Center to speak to the manager. As I walked toward the Service Center, she said, "what would you want, him/her to come over here?" At that I said, "Yes that is exactly what I wanted. That is the definition of customer service." When I arrived at the Service Center, there was no one at the counter and there was 5-6 people in line. Needless to say I did not wait in line. I feel the customer service is horribly lacking at this store. read more

Stopped in here today to get a hair dryer because mine died and of course just like every target run, I left with several bags. This isn't my favorite target but I have to say this location has really stepped it up. I'm not sure what changed but staff seems to be everywhere lately and more interactive with guest. There is a younger guy that's been at the doors the past few times I was there and he is a wonderful greeter! Saying hello and goodbye to everyone. There was even someone in the toy section asking if anyone needed help. In larger stores that isn't always something you will find so it's nice they are making customer service a priority still! read more

Better than most Targets, but the store can be messy and things are often out of stock. There is a Starbucks in this one, so that is good for you coffee drinkers. There were a lot of employees around but no one really offered any help, which is odd for a Target store. They've had some issues in the past of people breaking into cars in the parking lot, not cool! read more

Target is target as all the stores nationwide are pretty much the same so I guess it all boils down to Service, selection and cleanliness. This store was well stocked and very organized as well as very neat and clean. The staff was nice and very attentive to make sure we found what we came for. read more

Target Circle is a scam to get your information. If you don't shop target daily or at least every two days your points or dollars you earned it voided. Do not sign up for Target Circle. I give it a "1" star for Target Circle but a "5" star on their electronics employees. Great help when you need it and very knowledgeable. The blonde hair Manager lady in toys is a bit rude to customers. It's the holidays, you have a good selection and good sale. If the manager in that department doesn't understand holidays and working retail maybe she should go work a trash truck with no customer interaction. read more

Place is clean, always. Target does a great job at cleanliness that I wish Walmart and others had. My problem with Target is in lack of good products. They charge premium money for items that are not name brand nor high end but generic. I need plain white socks for example. Why am I going to spend $14 on a pack of 6 that are equivalent to generic but I can go to Walmart and buy name brand like Hanes or Fruit of the Loom for $9? And the selection for mens apparel is sorely lacking. Same with shoes. I bought male designer dress shoes for $35 at other locations but the generic shoes Target offer is at least that much or more, without cushions which cost me more since I have to go buy shoe inserts. Now that generic shoe can be $50 total when I can go elsewhere and buy cheaper. Shirts are generic but cost more than other locations. I can buy nice generic dress shirts at Walmart between $15-35 (sometimes cheaper) that still look great after three years but Target generic shirts cost more on average and don't fit me right. Everyday items usually are more expensive at target unless you can get it on sale. Electronics I think is a waste here. Nothing special and I can buy newer better models at Best Buy for same price. If Target just adjust their pricing, get rid of some of these expensive generic lines (or lower the cost), bring in more name brand for same price and still keep the cleanliness I think they would do more business. read more

I went in the store to look for dress pants. The women's clothing section was completely tore up from the floor up. It was not organized at all and they only had one section of dress pants, nothing in my size or length. Seems the clothing has changed quite a bit from the past. I know the store is following trends, but it's also important to keep some classic pieces. I did find two flannel shirts that I liked and they were reasonably priced, so I bought them. I like the grocery and health and beauty sections of the store. These sections were better organized and I was able to quickly find what I wanted. Also, I like the fact that there is a Starbucks in the store. I was able to get my Starbucks on the way out. read more

This target is ok. I much prefer the Lennox location. The Grove City location is never quite as stocked as you'd like. The endcaps are usually filled with things that aren't actually on sale so it looks haphazard. It's like they block the wifi in there so you can't actually use their cartwheel or coupon apps. I tried several times to sign into the actual target wifi (which i hate because all internet safety advises against signing into open wifi's) but i couldn't sign in. As someone else said, a Target is a Target. I shop there all the time because I like the products and it's close to home. But I actually enjoy shopping at the campus location a lot more. read more

Not entirely the stores fault but could have been communicated better by the dressing room attendant. I spent some time shopping for clothes and I had my 1yr old in the cart...when I went to try a few things on the lady just looked at me, so I asked for a room and all she said was well you can't take that cart it's a fire violation. So I asked if there was a bigger room or smaller carts etc. They said no sorry.... so am I supposed to let my kid crawl on the floor? Nothing posted about this in the front, no options to meet customers needs with small children and no stroller with them. Target needs to add a few small carts for this, or put a child seat in the wall like family restrooms have. Very inconvenient! read more

I cannot give this target 5 stars. The dollar spot is NEVER fully stocked. EVER. Also, their maternity section NEVER gets any new merchandise. AND, they don't carry perfect bars. I always have to travel to the target on Olentangy River Rd to get these things and it's really annoying. I can understand why they may not carry certain things but the dollar spot is ALWAYS EMPTY. read more

Very clean and well organized department store. I prefer this to the near by Walmart or other stores. They hire elderly to work the registers which is commendable but it makes the lines move slow some times although my longest wait here is shorter than my shortest wait at Walmart. They always seem to have what I am looking for and for a fair price. The food section is good for quick shopping trips but save your monthly grocery shopping trips for some other place. If I can go, get what I want, get a little side tracked and still get back to work in 30 mins then I am happy. I have never had an issue doing that with this Target. read more

Target is my favorite store. But this Target is terrible. There seems to be one cashier that I always end up getting that for some reason does not like me. Their customer service is terrible, employees pass by you and don't even ask if you need help, even if it's obvious that you need help, even if you try to ask. Nobody looks at you its as if they just don't care about their customers, on more than one occasion I've seen agroup of employees standing around in the woman's clothing section taking about parties. Once again I love target it's like a home away from home so I'm very disappointed that my local Target is this terrible and I really don't even like going there when I have to. I am very unhappy with my purchase today . I bought a lot of things to decorate my girls bedroom, I got everything from the 50 percent off clearance but when I check the prices two of the love unicorn comforters rang wrong .I ask an employee about the prize and she said to ask at the register since she was taking down the 50 percent of sign. When I got to the register The manager Brenda said that was the prize and that she couldn't do anything about it, even though I told her to check with Cara the employee who took the sign off. The local target store is fine but do not use the on line order system. It was a bait and switch on what you order. They cancelled my order in error but I could reorder it at a much higher price. Only negative is they're constantly moving the natural household items like soap refills and kitchen/bath cleaners to different aisles for no obvious reason and I have to hunt for their new location when I need them. As Caz M. stated in her review, I will not darken the doorstep of THIS target location EVER again. Once was enough. The employees are rude and have zero concept of customer service let alone just plain old courtesy. That being said, this is the first negative experience that I have had in a Target - guess I will drive the extra 15 miles to the Hilliard store. Anyway, I spent and hour and a half shopping and had a cart full of goodies - I'm guessing $400 dollars worth of home goods, clothing, makeup, etc. Anyway, after being in the store that long I needed to go to the rest room. I parked my cart close to the customer service desk, looked around for someone to tell that I would be back and saw the CS person walking into the office adjacent to the restroom area. I placed my cart in such a way that I hoped it did not look abandoned only to find it was completely gone when I returned a few minutes later. Let me say right now, that I completely understand them thinking the cart had been left and doing something with it, but here is where Target FAILED miserably. I asked the CS person (the one who had walked into the office that I couldn't tell I would be back) where my cart was. She said it had probably been 'reshopped'. I said, really, because I just left it a few minutes ago, you walked in the office back there right in front of me. She just stared at me. So I say, okay, does that mean I can perhaps find my cart being pushed around the store by an employee who is putting back my items? She shrugged (I could have smacked her at this point). I take off, visiting the departments I had visited and found nothing. I will tell you that this was mid-afternoon on a weekday and the store was not busy, so scanning the store wasn't difficult. I returned to the CS desk to find the same rude CS person and approached the desk. I said I had scanned the store and had not found an employee with my cart - JUST as I said this I noticed a HUGE Smith & Hawkin basket that I had selected in one of their carts for restocking and said, that was my basket. She said what else did you have? I said, so you took my cart, and put all my stuff in carts to be restocked, let me walk all around the store fruitlessly and were rude too?! She just smirked at me. This is when I smiled and very nicely stated that a store who would pay her salary would get none of my money and I turned and walked out. I wasn't sarcastic, I wasn't unkind, but I WILL NOT put up with someone in a CS position being a passive-aggressive bully! read more

Target is one of my favorite places to shop!! I always tend to spend more than I want to because they have so many great deals and cute home items. This is where we did our wedding registry and had no problems. This target just started carrying fresh produce which makes it that much better . I have never had any issues with the cashiers they are always very polite to me. read more

Just a little unhappy about my visit tonight..went in and got collecter cards for my boys and I as I went to pay one pack rung up for $8.99 instead of the $5.99 it showed on the hook and when I told the gentleman about the price and showed him what the hook said he told me not to trust the wall and what it says..if it was Wal-Mart they would of fixed the price that the wall was showing.. read more
