I lf you are looking for the best kakanin in town, well, this is the right olace. Everything hits the spot on your palate for kakanin cravings. Even if you're not craving, try their sapin sapin and kalamay and I am sire that you'll come back for more. Or even buy more to go. Super love!

I had the chance to indulge in this unique historic taste when I passed by Dekada, at around 1:30 pm on a hot Wednesday afternoon. The manager himself engaged us to get in, and informed us that the Merienda Buffet was about to start at 2pm to 6pm. That's it, we went inside. The ambiance felt as if I'm dining with Dr. Jose Rizal, in a modern world. Upon entrance, you will be caught by the huge slogan up on the wall: "Alab ng Puso", a Filipino hymn tagline. Their menu is extremely creative, naming each dish section after an era in Philippine history: from Magellan to our Independence! Their dishes such as Dinuguan, Sinigang, Letsong Manok, Sisig, and many other Filipino cuisine specialties all shout "Mabuhay" to your taste buds. Dine for the experience, come back for the taste!

My bestfriend and I met up one afternoon and instantly agreed in dining at Dekada - we were both thrilled! It was weekend, so we didn't get to try their Merienda buffet. We ordered ala carte of everything. The Main Event Palitaw Choco Batirol Palabok Fresh Lumpia Banana Turon Iced Tea Dekada became a great venue for our mini catch up. The seats were very comfy and we were served Pinoy all-time favorite comfort foods. The staff were attentive, they were glad to take us snapshots. We were billed around P700 for 2.
