The Absolute Best Solar Experience in Solano County!…read more If you are living near the Vacaville Junction area and shopping for solar, look no further than Westhaven Power. They completely outperform the massive national companies because they use their own professional, local technicians who genuinely care about their customers. The exceptional service started right away with Kelly. I had three other solar companies come out, and they all felt like pushy salespeople. On top of that, Westhaven was the only company out of all of them that could offer a system built with high-quality, US-made solar equipment. Kelly visited us twice just to take the extra time to explain every single detail, look at our actual usage, and answer our questions transparently. His patience and thoroughness are the exact reasons we chose Westhaven. The installation process was just as flawless. The crews led by Jarret and Chris were incredibly organized, professional, and kept everything moving smoothly. Huge shoutout to David, Mike V., Tyler L., and Brandon for the incredible, clean craftsmanship. The panel layout looks sleek, and they hid all the ugly conduit lines completely out of sight. They even went above and beyond by offering to haul away my bulky waste, saving me from having to pay for a separate trash removal service. The system they engineered works beautifully, effortlessly handling our brutal Solano County summer heatwaves. It features an incredible, US-made Enphase Energy backup battery system that manages peak-shaving flawlessly, dropping our high electric bills down to the bare minimum utility connection fees. It is a massive relief dealing with a local team where every single person--from sales to the final power-on--takes such pride in their work. From Kelly's detailed education to the extra-mile service by Jarret, Chris, and the crew, the entire experience was perfect. Request this exact crew if you want the job done right!

I called a few weeks ago to explain my project and request an estimate. The young woman on the phone was a bit short with me; nonetheless, we scheduled one for 8am Friday (the only time they seem to do estimates) a week ago. She called me a few days before to say that they needed to move it to Saturday at 8am, or the following Friday. I took Saturday. 8am rolled around - nothing. By 8:30 I called and left a voice mail, not expecting anyone to check it on a weekend. A woman called back to say she had 9-10am on her schedule, and didn't she tell me that? I said no, you told me 8am. She told me they were on their way. A professional-looking man and young woman arrived around 9:30. I explained what I needed as I walked them around my house. They seemed professional and were taking care with masks and physical distancing. I spelled out my email for the young woman, who promised she would send the estimate. Thursday rolled around, and I still hadn't heard anything, despite monitoring my email closely, so I called. I got the same young woman - she said she had put together the estimate for me - and said she would 're-send' when she got back to the office. I again spelled out my email address. Nothing. I left a voice mail after hours that night, asking if I could text my email address or reply to an email of theirs to facilitate getting the estimate. Today = nothing. If you really don't want to do the project, or don't have time in your schedule, could you not just say so? Why waste my time and yours on sending two estimators and playing phone tag? I could have found someone more eager and far more reliable WEEKS ago. Thanks for nothing, Ganesh Works. It seems like whomever you decide to do work for often (but not always) ends up satisfied. The rest of us are left uncomfortably hanging.

I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area most of my life, where solar panels aren't on most homes, so my knowledge of Solar Panels was nada. When we bought a new home with solar panels in Woodland, we learned the hard way. Last month, I received a PG&E true-up bill for more than $1k! The PG&E rep gave me a quick crash course: clean your panels. Since there's no way I'm getting on the roof of my house, I searched for a solar maintenance business on the NextDoor App - Viola! I found The Orange Solar. They came out the next day to clean my panels, which would give me +30% absorption. You can't tell from ground level that it was covered in dirt and bird droppings. There were all sorts of bird nestings beneath it, which would damage my roof over time. At the same appointment, they discovered my inverter was faulty. They contacted the manufacturer and got them to cover it under my warranty, and Orange Solar replaced it for a reasonable price the next day after receiving the part. They are very thorough, they love to help the locals, they are affordable, and they are overall good people. They are the only certified business in Woodland that does this stuff. I highly recommend The Orange Solar!!!!

WHY I CHOSE DIEGO ROOFING: 1) Locally owned business…read more(Woodland) 2) Owner (Diego) actually performs much of the work, himself. He doesn't sub-out the roof work or employ multiple crews at once, like some. 3) Bid came in @ a thousand cheaper than other local roofers EXTRA TOUCHS 1) replaced fascia, drip edge, and shingles on a little overhang over our Kitchen window that I didn't consider part of the building's roof, but was greatly appreciated. 2) Spray painted all vents and exhaust stacks to match the roof decore so they blended in 3) Re-attached a solar security light and screwed it into a metal roof vent so that it didn't create another roof penetration. 4) Used leaf blower to disperse all sand/grit from all rain gutters and back patio. Diego's wife, Mindy was quick to respond via e-mail to all inquiries. They showed up each day on time and completed work on schedule despite a 3-day weekend. The tear off crew that tore off the old roof tarped off all bushess, garage door, and front porch. They moved deck chairs and BBQ out of the way. They even performed some light tree trimming (which was a bonus) in order to give themselves enough room to work. I appreciated this, because it will actually make my yard maintenance easier in the fall. They swept up all debris and I have yet to find a single stray nail or staple around my property. Diego Lopez communicated all start and stop times. Asked special permission to show up at 7AM in order to avoid the afternoon heat. Something that I appreciated because my 4yr. old doesn't like surprise noises. As mentioned, Diego rebuilt the fascia boards, drip edge, and shingles over a small overhang outside our Kitchen window - an extra that I don't recall being listed on the work order but was appreciated even though it was not technically part of the building's roof. On the last day, Diego's crew used a magnetic mop to catch any stray nails and used a leaf blower to disperse any grit/sand. As mentioned, they spray painted all exhaust stacks and vents a gray color to match the decore of the roof shingles so they blend in with the rest of the roof.
