Wow a great place for a homemade breakfast. I had a taco omelette that was awesome. Now I know what to do with left over taco meat from dinner the night before. The biscuits where Hugh!! There is a reason this place has been around so long - good cooking made and served with love. Huge variety on the menu, so there is something here for everyone. My wife was wanting a home cooked type meal after we had been on the road for 10 days or so. We try to avoid restaurant chains when we travel, so this place fit the bill perfectly! We were a bit overwhelmed with the choices on the menu, so we sent the waitress away a couple of times be fore finally ordering. We were lucky to have one of those waitresses that was well experienced and offered some suggestions on popular dishes. I ordered the suggested pan fried Alaskan cod and baked potato with a delicious dinner salad and loved the taste and presentation. We finished by splitting a slice of homemade chocolate cream pie that was amazing! Great place - a MUST try! read more

A great accidental find! Super friendly staff, fresh salads, good food, and a nice vibe. I stopped in for a bite and to kill some time waiting for a flight out of Glacier International Airport (FCA). I had the chicken fried steak with bacon/jalapeño gravy and ... tater tots (mashed potato, baked potato, or fries were the other options ... I just can't remember the last time I had tater tots these tots were crispy on the outside - the way they're meant to be) Obviously all homemade and I could have sucked that gravy down with a boba straw. It was good. Chased it down with their pistachio cream pie. Another winner. Can't wait to try their take on the banana or coconut next time. I noticed there were a few regulars that must go in on a daily basis. Two had the meatloaf special. I'll be looking more closely at that next time I'm in the area. Stop by if you're in the area. Not sure what all the hype was about on all the other reviews, seems like a really busy place so we are hoping the reviews were accurate, but was sorely disappointed. Hubby had the French dip, the meat tasted and look like it came out of a package was dry and had that packaged meat flavor. I had some sort of a grilled turkey sandwich on a ciabatta roll. ciabatta roll was extremely dry and the turkey was dryer making it very very difficult to swallow. Cislos is a great spot for some classic diner food in a setting that makes you feel like you are among family. The restaurant is small and busy with a menu full of diner classics like breakfast platters, hot sandwiches and fried sides. I had a classic BLT which came with side options including fries, onion rings and, unusually, cottage cheese. I went with the onion rings, which went well with the crisp BLT and thick cut bacon. This restaurant was a delightful reprieve from the standard burger/pizza/sandwich/beer places that are so pervasive in the area. It is an old fashioned diner with great food and service. I had liver and onions, and hubby had a (real) chicken fried steak. The mashed potatoes were the real thing too. The homemade pies were made this morning and were delicious. The cream of tomato soup was really good, and the side salad was fresh and generous. It all came with friendly smiles too. We will surely eat there again before we head back to Texas. read more

Would have never found this place without Yelp! Great breakfast, I had the Cowboy Skillet and my wife had Eggs Benedict. Coffee is.99-cents for a bottomless cup! Nice thick ham on the Benedict. Good flavorful jalapeño bacon gravy on my skillet. Very nice folks, too. read more

Great place for breakfast. Me and some friends were looking for a breakfast place before our flight back to Seattle and ended eating up at Cislos since its so close to the airport. Food was great, service was exceptional and the prices were decent. I got the strawberry waffles and my wife got biscuit and hash browns with gravy ( white gravy without sausage, vegetarian). Both were pretty good. The portion size on biscuit and gravy was huge (we ordered the large portion but didn't expect it to be this large ). Large selection for egg and meat eaters. read more

We are in Kalispell from Canada. Loved seeing a full parking lot, but don't worry, there's plenty of parking! We enjoyed a late breakfast and loved everything about Cislos. I had the meat lovers skillet and the hubby devoured the the kitchen special omelette with a massive pancake instead of hash browns and toast. The food came out fast and hot! Chicken fried steak was large and cooked perfect the potatoes and gravy were good but could of used little more seasoning, but I would order again. My husband had fried chicken and French fries large portion and cooked perfect he enjoyed it very much. Not a bad place to eat, gets busy really quick. Came here twice while visiting family. Food is good for that diner experience. A little outdated, but i think it works for the Area, it is Montana! Waitresses were very nice and coffee never went empty. Breakfast was delicious, but the kitchen could use a little help. We sat at the counter and I work in the field of food, won't say exactly. But the tall cook, blonde needs to work on better cleanliness techniques when handling food. Just because your wearing a pair of gloves doesn't mean it's for everything your handling, like duh, right! And what's with the grabbing of the owner's butt while your working? Yes I asked one of the waitresses and she was like "OMG" and didn't know what to say. It was obvious from sitting at the counter, she definitely was after her boss, yikes. Kalispell was packed with late middle aged bikers and families featuring misbehaving children. We wanted something simple for dinner that we didn't have to wait over an hour to get.
