Inside the staff basically ignore you and don't interact with any out of line kids. Parents come to let the kids blow off steam and kind of forget to keep them following any rules, so you need to pay attention to slightly younger kids to keep them from getting hurt. Overall not bad but not all that amazing either. Staff need to be more involved and the no shoe policy is a fail if you don't use the equipment.

I highly recommend coming as early in the season as possible. #1 it's more enjoyable when you're not freezing to death. #2 the crowds get worse as the season goes on. There is a chart on the website that shows the busy days - use this!! The first time I came, it was late in the season and I stood in line for 3+ hours and was freezing! Since then, I have learned. Also, bring an extra jacket just in case. Everything is outside and it will get colder as the night goes on. As soon as you park, you get out of the car and are greeted with tall trees and eery music. You feel chills as you walk through the archway as "don't fear the reaper" is heard in the distance. You enter the village and wait in line as creepy figures hover around you. You'll board the wagon and I won't spoil it from there. All i will say is that the acting is on point and is very entertaining. They go all-out with everything and bring all the classics while also featuring new scares too. The blackout building and the new section (area 51 or something) is really really fun. The later is very interactive and the actors will touch you but it's so fun! I like to go once every year or two. It's a little expensive but it's worth it for sure. It's 10x better than any other haunted attraction i've ever been to. You are MISSING OUT if you don't go at least once!
