Most of the ice sculptures were melting and they were more advertisements than actual sculptures. The free wine tasting is actually a shot glass with a few drips of wine. They also give out free hot chocolate. The set up is in a barn. There were two slides for kids to slide on. They have food trucks that were selling foods and behind the barn there was a pony ride and petting zoo. $5 bucks for pony ride which was only 2 laps around a small area and the petting zoo was $2. I would not go back! So for a family of 4...I spent $50!!!

This is exactly the kind of movie theater that I love with it's recliner cushioned seats, spacious theater, great sound and tasty food options. I took my kids to see the latest Dreamworks movie and they had such a great time. I ordered them some tasty food including a chicken quesadilla, a pulled pork sandwich and fries. For the adults, they offer a wide selection of wine, beer and cocktails. I'm a big wine drinker and found the quality to be just so so. But with that said, I was just happy they had some drinks to chose from. I think the next time, I'll just stick to either beer or a cocktail. Finally, the location is super. There is free parking with validation and it's right across from the Steamtown Mall that has a Starbucks and a random assortment of shops and businesses. My recommendation would be to also head upstairs outside the Crunch gym and snap a photo of the replica "Welcome to Scranton" sign featured in the opening from the office. My kids had no idea what it was, but I enjoyed it!

Oh.... where to begin…read more First of all, I'm writing this review in the hopes that the manager/owner will see it so they know how to improve customer experience. I'm not trying to tear down a little theater. However, my experience was kind of a mess. I bought tickets on Fandango. When we arrived we decided to head straight to the theater for seats. Nobody was checking tickets at all. We walked right in. Because I'm an honest person I had already paid for tickets, but it would literally be the easiest thing to sneak into. (Not that I'm advocating that). We found seats, and the guy next to us said hey the waitresses said there's only 2 of them for all the theaters so if you want popcorn etc it's better to go out to the front and order. So that's what we did. There was a line 4 deep when we got to the ordering line. It was barely moving. The employee said anyone seeing a movie go back to the theater and order from a waitress. Most of the line left. Another person in front of us waited, got fed up, and left. Now we are at the front of the line. And nobody's there. No employees to be seen. I even call out and nobody answers. I finally see the employee and ask him if we can buy popcorn. He says in a minute, he's selling tickets. There's a whole line of people trying to buy tickets and he's the only employee for the snack line and ticket line. I pressed him because we were the only one in the snack line and only wanted popcorn, whereas the ticket line was at least 10+ people. We got the popcorn which somehow was room temperature despite being freshly popped. They also add the butter in with a squirt bottle over top, so there were cold pieces with butter on them and absolutely no butter in the second half of the bowl. While we were waiting, we noticed a gallon of milk out on the counter, a milkshake half prepared, a bunch of customer garbage on the counter next to a cutting board with a half cut lime sitting on it, presumably for someone's mixed drink. All are not recommended practices for safe food handling, if not health code violations. A waitress never came to us in the theater. I did see one, but she never came to anyone in my party - someone stayed behind while we were in line at the bar area and still no option to order in theater. At the end of the movie, no one turned on the lights. We stayed several minutes into the credits and the lights were still dimmed which is a safety hazard. There was a family sitting on the floor because they bought tickets but couldn't get seats. We didn't know what to do with our popcorn bowl at the end of the movie so we left it in the theater since we saw others do the same. It seemed to sum up the night, nothing was really clear, no employees were explaining things, there were not enough employees. We also saw customer trash in a pile on the parking validation desk when we left. Also, they showed several horror movie trailers when the audience was there to see a PG movie. There were several parents/families that were audibly upset that we heard. They were not expecting such graphic/horror trailers as IT 2 to be shown at a PG comedy. Now to end on a positive note: -new seats recline and were comfy -while waiting for snacks I saw a man making pizza, meaning their pizza is freshly made not frozen -the audio was loud but not too loud I wish there was more positives, but honestly I loved the movie and the crowd was great. So I had a good time, but very little of it had to do with the theater itself. But the crowd and movie saved this from being a 1 star review. Also I must note this was a Saturday night, so being this severely understaffed/undertrained is unforgivable. Friday and Saturday are a movies money making days. Someone should've been there to make sure it went well but I never saw any kind of management helping employees or customers.

We met some awesome people that live in Honesdale and I fell in love with the place. Amazing views of gardens, farms, woods and the Hudson River. Morse Mansion is incredible. This was $11 per person but worth the price of admission in my opinion. Large from the outside with sprawling porches but once you get inside the rooms just keep going. Once inside you will see so much vintage furniture and beautiful architecture. Pro tip: Felicia was a wealth of historic knowledge outlining so many features of the home plus the family history from Morse to Young!

Visiting during the holiday season (in December) the house is buried with Christmas decorations that blocked the view and enjoyment of the historical mansion. The house looked more like a Christmas village than a historical landmark. The coverage of Samuel Morse was limited to a room in the reception building which the docent never discussed. If we hadn't used the restroom we wouldn't have seen the original art of Samuel Morse or any discussion of his invention. Lucky we at least glimpsed the only interesting section of this site. I also must add that the grounds around the property may look beautiful in the Spring but don't waste your time going in Winter when the gardens are desolate. I would hope the Spring would bring out the gardens that the site is known for.

It was featured on ABC's 'Great American Light Fight' and one can certainly see why! It's actually two houses that decided to decorate together! There's not one inch left untouched! You can usually walk through the yard to the back where there's even more lawn decor, towering trees, and Santa and his reindeer flying overhead! This year it was closed but you can still take a drive around back! Don't forget to look to your right also! There you will find a Halloween display! So fun! This is definitely worth the trip if you're within 30 mins. It's close to Montage Mountain if you happen to be in the area skiing or tubing. It also goes hand in hand with many other holiday attractions in the neighborhood! You can certainly just drive by if getting out isn't your thing. There is a photo booth picture op but I think taking photos in front of the house is better. Fantastic! Such a treat to the community!
