Fun fact: Guthrie's was my college foodie favorite in Tallahassee, FL. Seeing this location on our route (when we stopped for gas) gave me all the nostalgia feels and we had to pull over, STAT! The hubs had never heard of Guthrie's, but graciously accompanied me on my trip down memory lane as I squealed with glee, and enjoyed it as well. True to form, I ordered a "Gut box" for old times' sake, and it was as perfect as it was circa 2003! The chicken tenders were fantastically golden. When I question why it was over $11 she said that it was an extra $2.19 upcharge for green beans. If that is the case it is very misleading that "Choice of side" means an up charge for anything but fries. When I questioned it she insisted multiple times that I did have a choice but if I chose anything but fries it cost more. $11 is in the range of going to an actual restaurant and getting an entree with multiple sides.
