Mijay is a great manager and he is super kind and helpful! I will continue to come back because the experience was amazing and the location is always clean. I can trust this place.

Ok so I have been going to Freddy's in Kansas for years. every time I go I am excited because I…read moreknow the burgers the atmosphere and the vibes are all going to be there. When I knew we were going to TX I was excited because duh Freddy's but man what a disappointment. Ordering: I felt so rushed the guy taking my order kept playing with his pen clicking it tapping it and not listening to us, playing with his hat, Fidgeting and rushing us, we didn't feel listened too. We kept having to repeat our orders and edits to our orders. I ordered a plain single patty burger and I said plain no cheese single patty burger but I wanted lettuce and grilled onions. What did I get a double cheeseburger. Maybe it was me and i forgot to read the screen but I know what I said. The sodas were so flat. And the custard was not what I'm accustomed to. My husband had to go and re order my order because after reviewing the receipt it was placed incorrectly. I cannot with any self respect say that I like this Freddy's. Not only was my order wrong but the bathrooms i mean wtf. They were messy had broken soap dispensers. Full trash cans, and it just felt gross. Bunch of kids working the place but not very organized as they forgot one of my items and I had to go tell them. No one said hey welcome in no one said thanks for coming. I've been in Texas 4 days so far and I've had a bad experience all of the days. So Freddy's was my high point only to be mistaken. Maybe you'll read my review and fix some things add more training less loud music in the kitchen. And maybe more pride in the work. But I will not be coming back to this Freddy's ever again if and when we come back to Texas. I know the locals will probably eat me up in the comments but I was just not happy at all. Makes me really sad because this is the only Freddy's that I've had this experience with.

Food: Chicken fried steak/ Grilled pork chop there were no complaints. Good portions for the cost and definitely seemed fresh. Even the sides were delicious and fresh tasting. The ONLY downside is parking. I didn't subtract stars for it because there is still enough room to get around. But definitely use cation with bigger vehicles and especially trailers.

And whenever we take a drive like that, we make it our mission to find a highly rated local lunch spot. This one was on the way home and looked promising, so in we went. I will say this for Texas. Onion rings are everywhere here, far more than when I lived in California. I will happily take that as a win, because the heat for about nine months of the year is not my jam. Sadly, the onion rings were not listed as one of the many sides (so we couldn't get them as a side with our meal), but we ordered them as an appetizer ($8.99 I think) with blue cheese dressing. I am not a ranch girlie, and I stand by that choice. The blue cheese had huge chunks in it, which makes me think it might be house made (bonus point!). Now, the rings. I am firmly Team "Battered" Onion Ring over Team "Breaded", and these absolutely delivered on the team battered. They were almost chicken-fried, -- super craggly, crispy, and deeply satisfying. These were the star of the meal, so do yourself a favor and order them - but you need a friend to share them with, its a heavy portion. They also have great lunch specials, most around eleven dollars. I got the pot roast with two sides, refried beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. After indulging in the onion rings, I was not exactly starving, so I ended up with enough leftovers for another full meal. The pot roast was nicely shredded and tender, and the gravy was rich, flavorful, and worth every calorie. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, (he's obviously on a diet!), with fried okra and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was forgettable, but everything else on his plate was solid. Service was friendly and efficient, and this place definitely fills up at lunch, so plan accordingly. A very good roadside stop, and proof that sometimes the best meals happen when you are just out running errands.

I've been to a lot of Charley's and I got to say this is my new favorite of franchises. The food…read morewas not only good but big portions, I ordered small sandwiches got huge sandwiches that were stuffed with meat (where's the beef, you'd have to be blind not to see the mounds on each half that was edge to edge), the regular fries were awesome, the loaded fries were LOADED and so bloody good, the joint was spotless, and the staff were so good and friendly. I asked for rabbit food on one of my sandwiches and actually got lettuce (not a dusting) and two full slices of tomatoes on both halves (that makes 4 slices). The mozzarella sticks were the size of hot dogs and I got four of them. Even though this out of my way I'll be coming back again.

Let me start off by saying I am a fan of Charlie's Cheesesteaks in general, And at the time of our…read morevisit this location was fairly new and had only been opened for about a week or so and they were busy. With that said I'm just going to give my honest opinion on how our visit went. The employee who took our order seemed to be unhappy about something as we received attitude for simply ordering two Philly cheesesteaks combos. (Pleasant employees make happy customers, Unhappy employees make for bad reviews) The dining room was filthy the drink station was nasty and the ketchup dispenser was empty and partially disassembled (broken) and the trash can was full and overflowing. These details are all important because there were no less than 8 to 12 employees only half of which were actually working the other half were milling around. I'm hoping it was just a bad day in the grand scheme of things because I did have high hopes for this location as it is the closest to me. I will revise this review if anything changes but in my experience, they rarely do. as the old saying goes first impressions are everything The only reason I gave them three stars was despite everything above the food did come out as expected, the food was tasty and the portions were the right size for the price. To management or owner: just because you're located in a Walmart doesn't mean you have to manage it like a Walmart. The secret sauce to success for places like In-N-Out Burger, Chick-fil-A, and Raising Cane's is cleanliness, quality control, and enthusiastic employees. One of three isn't good enough
