We went to this location last Sunday after seeing several influencers trying their deli sandwiches,…read morewhich range from around $5 and up, so we decided to stop by for a late lunch. At the counter, they have papers available where you can either build your own sandwich or choose from their preset sandwich options with listed prices. You simply write the number of the item you want on your receipt, hand it to the deli staff, and within a few minutes your order is ready. You then pay at the cash register. They also offer an upgrade for about $1 that includes chips and a bottled water. In addition to the sandwiches, they have other items available for purchase, including desserts and cookies ranging from about $2 to $3 and up. This location is smaller than the other one we've visited, so there was no indoor or outdoor seating available, which was a little disappointing. However, overall our visit was pleasant, and the store was very clean, organized, and well maintained.

The employees I encountered were friendly, too, and I always appreciate that when I'm out running errands. Nothing over the top, just a clean store and friendly service that made for an easy grocery run.

Your security guard told me I had to leave my backpack in the front, something I refused to do. I do not want someone to steal my backpack. I left the store without buying anything! Previously, I had no problems carrying my backpack in any Fry's store, including this one, until today! As I travel by bus, I need my backpack on me. This also helps me carry a lot of the items I buy and put in plastic bags. I am not stealing anything! You have detectors that can tell if a store item has not been paid for! You should not discriminate against me based on me carrying a backpack! I demand you change this no backpack policy! Understand clearly there are other grocery stores I can shop at without being harassed for carrying a backpack! I want a response back, from both your corporate entity and the store manager of this store. Sincerely, Randy Dinin

If you're coming for the menudo or pozole, definitely arrive early because those lines can get LONG! Clearly, we're not the only ones who know it's worth the wait. The menudo was really good, flavorful, comforting, and exactly what my hubby was craving. Add some fresh bread on the side, and you've got yourself a pretty perfect little meal. Elderly discrimination by Frys food stores? Before the…read moredigital coupon fad, I thought Frys was the best Az. had to offer. Prices are some of the best. cleanliness, variety, friendly, hours are good, etc. I know many employees at my local store by name. I've even started a friendship with one long term employee. I'm walking though the store seeing all these awesome prices for many, many items I regularly purchase for myself, and my family. When I check out, none of these "discounts" applied. When I asked about it, the cashier lowered her eyes and said "I know, I'm sorry". Turns out you have to download an app to get the discounts. Apparently, people that can't download apps. don't get the savings. Guess who doesn't download. SENIORS!!!!!! The manager Scott said "If you say something to the cashier, the can scan something to give the discount". Wrong. The cashiers have no idea what I'm talking about. I've ask many customers in the store if they use it, and EVERY response was a disgusted "NO". Maybe not an intentional discrimination by Frys, but its happening. Albertsons prices are very competitive, and just as close.

They are always stocked with the essentials(beer) and well obviously toilet paper when people do not freak out. They are always someone to help . One down thing is that they are always busy so do your shopping during the weekdays in the morning if you can. My daughter loves the self check out which they are faster at times. A plus, is the drive thru pharmacy! Parking lot wise do not like just because seems to get clustered just because there's some shops right next door(nails spa and Starbucks) and there's a ton of "homeless" people asking for money the same ones walking around the store and parking lot.

This is the closest Fry's to my home, but I always avoid shopping here. The only reason I went…read moretoday was because Instacart sent me an unusually high paying order. Honestly, the rate would have to be very high for me to willingly deal with this store. I imagine other shoppers avoid orders from this location for many of the same reasons. There are frequently no carts available near the entrance, so customers have to walk through the parking lot in 100 to 110 plus degree heat to hunt one down. The metal carts become extremely hot, which is especially difficult when you are also trying to manage a toddler. Today, I arrived around 7:00 p.m., when it was still over 100 degrees outside, and there was a steady line of customers walking through the parking lot looking for carts. To make matters worse, the main entrance was closed. Customers had to walk all the way around and enter through the side that requires you to filter through the checkout lanes just to reach the grocery section. I asked an employee why the main entrance was closed, especially when families with children were walking around outside in extreme heat pushing burning hot carts, but no one could provide a real explanation or seemed particularly concerned. Meanwhile, several employees appeared to be standing around talking. The condition of the store itself is also disappointing. It feels run down and poorly cleaned, and the selection is noticeably worse than at other Fry's locations. They are frequently out of items I need and have a very limited selection of healthier snacks, despite carrying large quantities of highly processed snack foods. The dairy area is especially concerning. There is often a terrible smell when the milk refrigerator is opened, and I regularly see spilled products, debris, or items lying on the floor inside the refrigerated section. The odor alone makes me uncomfortable purchasing milk from this store. I shop at Fry's stores throughout the Valley, including locations in San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Surprise, and Buckeye, so I have plenty of other locations to compare this one to. This is easily one of the worst Fry's stores I have visited. A new Fry's Marketplace is supposed to open nearby, and I sincerely hope it is placed under completely different management. The surrounding community deserves a grocery store that is clean, properly stocked, safely accessible, and managed with basic consideration for its customers.
