So I only checked in here so I could leave a review because Circle K let me down YET again. This time it was for pricing. So to anyone that doesn't know the following, LIKE the people who run Circle K obviously, vendors offer promo pricing to retailers for the purpose of getting the retailer to place items on sale so that they sell more product through said retailers. The idea is the vendor (Coke in this case) gives the retailer promo pricing so they can extend the promo pricing to the consumer. So this is an indictment of both Circle K AND Coca-cola, who distributes vitamin water. I went here to buy some large (32oz) size vitamin waters. I purchased 4 because I wanted at least 4 to hold me over a couple days, but the problem was there was no promo pricing anywhere for these vitamin waters. So I stuck with 4 and went to the register. One I checked out and got my receipt I noticed a discount for the amount of one vitamin water. So the deal I've seen elsewhere has been buy 2 get 1 free, but since I didn't see any promo pricing and didn't feel like driving to a different retailer, I just grabbed the 4. Now I drink vitamin water every day, mostly because I STOPPED drinking energy drinks that have about 60+ grams of sugar with these because they have about a 1/3 of that. Still not great, I know, but it's way better than energy drinks and sodas. Now given that I drink a lot of them, had I known the promo price was good here as well, I would have bought a total of 6 so I could get basically buy 4 get 2 free. So shame on Coke for not having their pricing displayed and shame on Circle k for NOT ONLY not having pricing displayed but having employees working that don't even know the promos let alone be willing to tell you, "hey those are buy 2 get one free" so I, the consumer, could make a more educated and informed decision on my purchase for this day. I am only give the second star because they DID at least have my flavor in stock with plenty. read more

The store is really easy to navigate. I like that popping in for coffee is easy and always fresh. There is a great coffee bar to add all of your favorite flavors and creams. I stopped in for a salty snack this time, but I normally get coffee, and sometimes Cinnamon coffee my favorite. The staff had always been friendly. And the store is always clean. read more

Circle K - When you are out running errands and need something salty - Gas Stations Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I'm not a fan of Circle K but it was my stop since the light turned red and the car in front of me was giving off road rage vibes so I stopped off to grab gas. This location is definitely short staffed as I waited almost 15min in line. There was only 1 guy at the counter and the other employee was walking around... not sure what she was doing but you'd think she would've jumped her behind, behind the counter to assist her struggling coworker. Anyway, I could've paid at the pump but some places, I chose not to, and this is one of those places. ‍‍ I felt bad for the fella all alone dealing with a hard core lottery player as the line grew longer and longer. Management really should have at least 4ppl staffed at a time at gas stations unless they are just that short staffed! I suppose the walk around employee should be train to jump on a register to help when there's more than 3 ppl in line or if she sees a lottery Lou holding up the line. Carry on... The employee Sam is the best part about this place. He is so upbeat and positive. He encountered the rudest customer that left merchandise on the ground and walked out and Sam greeted us with a smile on his face and the best attitude. I am not sure what is going on with this Circle K, but the manager should really evaluate the store. It is poorly merchandised with expired items, broken glass doors that fall on people broken soda machines for weeks at a time. I never want to complain, but it's getting to the point of dangerous. Lack of common sense in the and no leadership. There was an ice cream sitting on an ice chest, just melting and leaking, it's just gross. They need to pull it together over there. The team members are so sweet and you can tell they are trying their best in a bad situation. This manager should have a presence in his store, order inventory, and toss out expired items. Okay Circle K, I can promise you there HAS TO BE someone else you can hire for the overnight shifts.The lady working right now has to either HATE LIFE all together or she has a disability and is unable to smile or she has something wedged up her a**. I was reaching for my wallet when she let's out an exaggerated LOUD sigh.(I thought to myself...uuhhh. EEWWW) Oohh but when I said I needed cigarettes..you guessed it , another sigh . Now what got me was when she threw the pack of smokes into my bag with my drinks. I had to pause because I don't know what she might be going through....until my friend who lives a block away tells me she has worked there forever and she is always like that!!!!!!! I went to this Circle K today for a delicious gas station hot dog and I must say that I left feeling disappointed. The buns were stale, the dog was overcooked, and that's not even the worst part. There were no tongs or utensils to pick up the hot dog, and the only employee I saw, who was stocking a shelf, neglected to offer assistance as they watched me struggle to wrestle the slippery hot dog into my stale bun with two Slurpee straws. They did, however, have a nicely stocked beverage section and my favorite Monster energy drink was ready to go. Overall, a poor and frustrating experience. I will come back again, but only because I am a loyal Circle K customer. read more

(edit: 4 mo later) LOCATION UNSAFE!! This place should be shut down. This is the SECOND time in 4 months that my card has been SKIMMED at this location. I have intentionally only used this specific card at this specific location and no others. I checked the machines for obvious signs of tampering where you insert your card, but I'm not an expert and obviously missed it. I even swiped a non credit card in the slot to try to see if anything was in there. I would not go here if you value your bank account. (Old Post from 4 months ago) My credit card # was stolen at one of the pumps at this location in the past week. I called at 12:35pm on 11/28 to let them know, and the employee that answered the phone, Heather, was the rudest little jerk to me for no reason. She seemed annoyed that I called, didn't ask what pump, and told me to call back another time. She refused to take a message for her manager. I couldn't believe it. It sucks that this location is the closest gas station closest to my house on the way to work because it it is a nightmare here. I'm not holding a gas station to high standards by any means, but this place really sucks. most of the gas pumps here do not work right, if you are the fortunate one to tell one of the zombies working here "hey, pumps 3, 4 and 8 aren't working, bit number 10 is and didnt give me a fucking receipt, again" the follow up questions are usually something of the following variety not limited to but including "oh, yeah, that pump doesn't work" or "yeah, the debit reader is not working" or the lady who told me "yeah, that piece of shit card reader doesn't work, so prepay as much as you think you will need, and then come back in for the difference you don't need." When the literally 1 in 3 times I am able to drive to the first gas pump and have the debit card reader work, it still pops up with a message to go inside for a receipt, shutting down all hope of a quick transaction. usually the response is "yeah, a lot of people have been coming in for receipts " or "you have to come in for a receipt" I love that, a real doozey. The only fortunate part of this is I can tell one of the Rhodes Scholars working here that there are typically 1-3 people asking me for money as I am getting gas or some useless teenager eating candy like a Spaniard next to the redbox machine. They don't care. Getting gas here sucks, but what really pisses me off about this place is when you need to use the windshield squeegee to clean the windshield. I don't know what is in here but the few times I have used these whatever is in the water is rancid as hell. I spilled a bit of it on my hunting boot that has seen blood, sweat, chemicals, shit, and Tucson. Nothing killed these until some of the complimentary windshield water spilled on them. The smell from that water cannot be erased, I doubt these things have ever been emptied only have water added to them. Smells like the windshield squeegee raped me until it made the room stink. I can't wait until the gas station being built down the street is finished. read more

The people who are either stocking the shelves, cleaning the floors, or behind the counter have all been polite so far. I have nothing really bad to say, but nothing really great either. Keep perservering...maybe I'll write another review when something outrageous happens :) read more

Busy store, but well staffed with efficient cashiers. Best fountain drink deal in town.

Stopped at this Circle K at 10:30 at night. Pumped gas and went in to use the restroom. Waited outside the door for a few minutes before going to the clerk and asking if I needed a key. She said the restroom was closed for the night. I asked why it was closed and she could not give me a real answer. I asked even for customers? And she said yes. I then suggested they put up a sign so people didn't have to wait thinking that the restroom was occupied. This is one of the bigger newer Circle K's and I was shocked that they would not allow customers to use the bathroom. I will be stopping at QT instead of Circle K in the future. Wish I could have given the gas back and gone to be a customer at QT to use the restroom. read more

I do not have to fill up my gas tank here- get a cheap beverage or buy a random hot dog here- but I do. While some reviews boast the "well staffed efficient cashiers" at this location, I must share my recent and seemingly more often poor experiences at this conveniently located convenience store. If I do not have to go inside this store- everything is fine. It is usually clean and the gas prices are usually better than average. On the occasion I do venture inside to purchase a 70 cent fountain beverage or hot dog, i am usually able to find everything in decent shape. Cups stocked , floor: not sticky or cluttered with debris. There dose seem to be a surprisingly high ratio of employees to customers. At any given time it appears there are at least 3-4 employees operating the cash register for the line of customers. The employees are able to eat, drink, talk on their cell phones, carry on personal conversations while taking customers money. Despite the multitasking they usually greet and thank each customer without making eye contact. It's a nice gesture but lost among the distractions. They seem to always be counting down the cash drawers, too. I imagine this is to keep money from being too accessible to robbers. One time, recently, when I felt the urge to buy a hot dog, there were 6 employees present. I can tell this because they all wear bright red Circle K Shirts. 5 of these employees were standing behind the counter having a very good time talking and laughing loudly as they counted down cash drawers and spooled receipts. No one was helping the growing number of customers lining up at the counter in front of them. There was a 6th employee that appeared to be on break or something as he was at the beverage dispensers cavorting with the others across the counter. This seemed to go on long enough to build a significant line of waiting customers. One of the 6 employees did begin to ring people up, not missing a beat of banter with his colleagues. after about 4 people ahead of me were helped it was finally my turn. I approached the cashier and he literally said "I'm closed. She'll help you." He began pulling the receipt tape from his register as he motioned to the employee at the other register fiddling with her cell phone. Really?? I wanted to throw the hot dog at them scream and run out! Instead, I kept my cool, gave them my dollar and sulked out without saying a word. read more
