When we got to the shop, the line was extremely long which I saw as a really good sign. Unfortunately for me, it was not. The service was extremely nice, a smidge slow but that was pretty understandable due to the line and also due to the many to go orders being placed ahead of time. I did notice with the to go orders that there wasnt as many drinks being picked up...this might be a coffee shop that is known for their food more than their drinks (unique). The sitting inside was limited and a little squashed, the shop itself is pretty small. If you have any form of anxiety...dont go anywhere near Enroute, I almost left multiple times without my drink because of it. I ordered the Large Honey Pistachio Latte with Oatmilk (a common drink I have ordered from other shops and have loved) it was about $10 and my mom ordered a herbal iced tea with cherry in it, the tea was okay but nothing spectacular. The lack of tea choices was a little shocking due to the fact that the name of the shop promotes that it is a Tea House. We spent a little over $17, Scottsdale can be expensive and I have bought a lot of coffee from Scottsdale..and I will argue that this is one of the most expensive drinks I have gotten especially when comparing size and quality. I didn't really like my drink at all, and had a hard time chugging it down. I personally probably will not becoming back...that being said, there is obviously something within the shop that has made it extremely popular. My guess is the hot food options available, if you were to decide to try this shop... I would recommend either reaching out to someone who.loves this shop or checking into those items specifically.

Everyone is greeted with a warm welcome, the coffee and lattes list has something for everyone's liking and they also have sweet treats. I asked what was a good choice and Carlos asked me which type of coffees I liked. I settled on a cinnamon cookie latte and OMG! So good. Carlos even bought out my cinnamon roll with a candle in it. This place goes above and beyond any coffee place I've ever visited. The inside has seating but small, however, there's seating on the outside so there's always a place to sit. I love to support local and found out it's family owned as well as being organic. For my first time visiting and getting my birthday coffee, this place exceeded all my expectations! Java Trolley came up and looked cute and so we took the exit and headed on over. They do indeed have a trolley here and it sits next to the general store. However for whatever reason the trolley itself was closed and all of the Java Trolley coffee drinks were being made inside the Out West general store. So we headed inside where I was able to order my drink and they had lots of other random food as well. In any case, for my coffee on this morning I decided to order a large latte and after about a 5 minute wait, it was ready. My latte here was decent enough with the milk pretty much overpowering any coffee flavor but it was able to peak through every now and again. Whenever it did make it through the flavor was decent but not great. The bottom line for me is that I would stop back here again in the future. I love the idea of serving coffee from the trolley and would hope to see them back in there although I do understand that's it's probably a lot more economical to have it inside the general store.

When I first visited the trolley it was owned by another family. Today was my first stop with the new owners. The great thing about the new ownership is their set location and hours. This is a movable trolley so of course it may travel to other stops if they want. I love that they have outside seating and cute signage they changed with the day! You know me I am a sucker for anything chalk art! Today I stopped with my son on our way to Like Days. He's been dying (continually asking) for some fabulous got chocolate. So I said Java Trolley here we come! It did not disappoint. This kid was jumping for joy before, during and after. He said it was tasty! There were so many options and flavors to chose from, but I'm a sucker for a good latte so I went with a caramel iced coffee. The cups come in three sizes. Today I've had A LOT of coffee lol so I settled on a 12oz and it was perfect. Great blend, awesome flavor and not too bitter. We will definite be back! Great job ladies.
