It does the job if you need a bottle of water or regret in the form of a roller hot dog. This place won't change your life, but it'll change your gas gauge. It's not a destination -- it's a pit stop with branding. It's clean enough, functional enough, and won't ruin your day. That said, the service here has noticeably gone downhill over the past year or so. As someone who's worked in customer service, I completely understand how draining it can be dealing with people all day. Still, I've had cashiers who don't even acknowledge me and come across as straight-up rude. I'm always polite, so it's a tad frustrating but i always just brush it off, maybe they're having a bad day. What really stood out today was an interaction I witnessed near the water aisle. There was no bottled water in sight. A customer politely asked, in broken English, if there was any water. The employee (who appeared to be a stocker or possibly a manager) simply rudely said "no" and walked away. No "sorry, not right now" no explanation, nothing. Just a blunt, dismissive response. It wasn't the most extreme rudeness I've ever seen, but it left me a bit stunned. That person clearly has zero customer-service skills. There are some great employees here, and I don't want to paint everyone with the same brush. But the ones who treat customers this way really hurt the reputation of the whole store. I almost never leave negative reviews, but this location needs to do better.

That said, it's hard to fault the store for being popular. The cashiers are friendly and efficient, and I've always had positive experiences with the customer service desk whenever I've needed help. One thing I really appreciate about this location is the convenient exit that gets you onto I-17 quickly, which makes leaving much easier despite the busy parking lot. It's a large lot, and has easy access to Union Hills. Plus I Never had a problem here. Gas is usually inexpensive and lines are rarely long depending on what time you go. I have only been inside once in awhile to pay. Typically I just use my card and go. CONCLUSION: Conveniently located right before the I-17. Easy access in and out. For some reason I prefer Valero over Circle K or Shell, but I do like to stop at QT or the Fry's stores that have gas pumps, if I am near by either one. Valero usually has lower prices as well, every penny counts!
