However, after paying with a debit card, I noticed an additional $7.46 deposit/processing fee--which should not apply to debit transactions. Retailers are typically responsible for covering those costs, not passing them on to customers, especially when you're already significantly marking up your merchandise. This felt like a greedy move and completely unnecessary. That extra charge small as it may seem You've lost a customer and earned a negative. And battery doesn't seem new has scratches on bottom and sides most likely refurbished sold as new. "They likely avoid accepting credit cards because they're worried about chargebacks. I've gone to Circle Cycle since the 1980s when it was owned by Peter and Kevin. I had bought helmets and gloves and a carb synch tool from them, in addition to having service work done on various metric bikes. when I got my Harley with extended warranty and service plans I didn't use them any more. And I no longer worked in the area so I didn't stop by either. But recently I became aware that Kevin and Peter had sold the business a couple of years ago and i wanted to see how they were doing. I stopped down and had occasion to talk with the owner (Mrs. Owner). First, they remodeled the place and they really made some welcome changes. They have a real garage door on the side into the shop and the showroom is laid out much more efficiently. I was impressed with her approach to the changing situation of parts availability and the motorcycle market in general. Later, her husband came in . He's the chief mechanic and I had a good conversation with him. He rides a vintage Harley. They have more lifts than before and we need these independent shops, especially for our older bikes. Let me start by saying in all capital letters STAY AWAY. The owner is an entitled prick. He's a thief and snake and the guys that work in the shop with him are even worst. They act like they are your friends even speak to you in Spanish if they notice you are Spanish, but are there clearly to take your money. Trust me don't even bother going there for an oil change they will try to say that your bike needs way more than that. Anyways, sorry bout that let me explain what happened to me. I needed a part for my bike that needed to be special order. Before that I had already done the rear tire balance and everything for almost $300 bucks. But anyways wen I went to pick the bike up finally! Took for ever. The guys there convinced me about this rear bolt thing I needed and that I should order it now. So we did. This was back in June of this year. I left them $50 deposit out of my own kindness, which now I regret and see it as plain stupid of me. Because I got to the shop today because I 1. Got tired of waiting 2. Sold the bike 3. No longer care for their service and lack of professionalism. And tried to get my $50 bucks back. To which I immediacy got bashed on by the owner and the other idiot that was there, that they don't do refunds. That is COVID blah blah blah. Point blank if you were a legitimate honest business you would've relate and clearly see how the customer has that right specially in this case and you should've just given me back the money. I went there for a oil change one guy said I. re did your. Whole front end and had everything out. "Wish I took a picture. My brother and I were riding to bear mountain from where we live in Brooklyn when a little mishap at a gas station left me with a broken left side rearset. I quick search on yelp showed this shop to be the closest repair option. I limped the bike a few miles with one peg missing and arrived at the shop safely. I assumed that they would not have an exact replacement part in stock, but the guy was extremely helpful and spent a good bit of time searching through bins of used parts with me. Eventually, we cobbled together a few pieces that could bolt up to my bike well enough and to get me home. In short, the guys were friendly, communicative, and even though I was up shit's creek without a paddle, they didn't gouge my wallet just cause they could. AVOID this place like the plague! They used inferior steel braided lines on my CB750 and it spewed brake fluid all over and lost pressure to the front brakes. They also didn't tighten up the AXLE NUT on my YZF600R which I noticed while riding in the GSP! Thanks for almost killing me twice fellas! Good thing I have an awesome guardian angel. I'll be doing all the repairs on my bike(s) from now on or take it elsewhere, spank you very much. Only reason why this place is so busy is because there's no other bike repair shops in the area. These guys are the greatest! I've been going to this shop for years, and I recommend it to everyone I meet. Kevin is the more customer service aspect of the business and he is extremely knowledgable and helpful when it comes to getting the parts of service that you need done. Peter is a motorcycle genius - I've brought in my bike which was having all sorts of trouble running and starting etc - he listened to the engine for about 10 seconds and told me 'it sounds like xyz is the problem' - sure enough after disassembling the bike - that was the problem. Most of the time the work is done same day - the only exception would be something major (like post crash repair). If you make an appointment for your service they make sure to have the parts you need on hand so they can get the job done. My biggest fear is that one day they will retire - I hope this place is around forever read more

Called them up today to see if they had coolant in stock, which they did and were knowledgeable to tell me the difference between the two brands and when I got there it had a small store old fashioned style look to it but seemed to have everything you could ever need for your motorcycle available! Act 1: The shop advertise "Polishing" - being a shop that repairs and maintains motorbike I figure it must be a place where chrome of exhaust system and anything made of chrome is restored to its original state; however my request for stepping into the shop was to inquire about whether or not polishing two small soup bowl made of bronze could be polished back to their original shiny look. At first, a young man said the polisher was out of town but he would find someone else to do it... and my first mistake was not to ask "how much" - as dumb as I was, I left the bowls in his care. Act 2: I came to regain possession of the bowls only to find out that they were somewhat better than before, by really not as shiny as bronze can be and that the young man did it himself. His primary job, I believe, is to finish high school and was there as a helper of some sort; anyway, when the time was up for me to pay... it was $90 - a polishing tool for jewelry cost about $35 on EBay or if would have cost me $25 at a jewelry store. Yes, I agree, I made a mistake - but it won't be hard for you to guess when and where I plan to buy my Harley when the time come(is near)... it won't be at the Circle Cycle of Ridgefield, NJ. read more

This is my go to shop. They have done major work from replacing forks to minor body work and part replacement. All the guys here are very knowledgeable and willing to help. Usually they work on my bike the same day. I took my bike elsewhere and the other shop kept my bike for a month and a half without any work being done. Great Experience! I was in need of service on my VTX1300. Kevin was super nice on the phone and even more helpful in person. They serviced my bike and had it ready same day, but kept it for me overnight since I couldn't make it back that day. Needed new tires, and he showed me the different options and price levels, and still told me that based on my riding style that I don't need the more expensive tires. These guys were very helpful and honest to me. I just started riding and I bought a beater bike for my first/learning bike. The bike had a few issues that I didn't see when I bought it, but they fixed it right up at a very reasonable price. They are very knowledge from what I can tell and super courteous. They are a small shop and they don't always have the parts so some repairs may take longer. Only thing that's keeping me from giving this place a 5 star is that I wish they would give me a quote before fixing the bike and billing me for it, but like I said their price is very reasonable, can't expect a huge bill anyways.
