Inokim OK Super from the Inokim shop on Bleeker
Christopher D.

These guys are so f'n cool. Honest and will explain everything. Also all the cool accessories they installed for me. I was nervous about my purchase and they put my nerves at ease. I also know that when it needs any service. Max and co will be there to take care of you. DONT BUY ONLINE! The amount of discounts I got more than covered the cost difference. While I don't need more than one I feel like I want another one just to work with them again. Such a nice group of people. Thank you all so much. See you when I'm downtown

My Inokim OX; over 6000 miles ridden. note that tires and handlebars are NOT stock

I first came to Inokim when I was having issues with another brand of scooter in June 2019. After a quick test ride, I was out the door with an OX model, which I have been using ever since; The craftsmanship is top notch on all of their vehicles. On top of that, anytime I ever have any sort of issue with my OX, they are always able to fix it at a fair rate. Whether it be any accidental damage or something as simple as a flat. I highly recommend anyone looking for an electric scooter to take a trip to the team at Inokim. customer service and products are the best around!

Scooters are amazing - works out of the box. Service is 5 star

Great sales staff, ask for Mika - bring your drivers license and take it for a test ride. You'll definitely find the Inokim that's right for you. There is a no questions asked service policy - as long as it's under warranty - even if it's not all customers are treated equally and it will still be serviced with prices that are reasonable. These are the best scooters for NYC Roads I have been through 4 different manufactures and the buck stops here - Excellent suspension, battery life is amazing. These scooters actually deliver the milage promised on the box.

I'm leaving a fantastic review for this place I'm going to write about the pros and cons I experienced buying a scooter from Inokim, but I want to state that in the end they earned themselves 5-stars and no less! I initially tried deciding between buying an Inokim OXO from the Inokim store in NYC, online, or through Fluidfreeride.com. Fluid offered a great deal! They offered the scooter for $2,700 + $150 off + an extra $100 worth of accessories. I thought that this deal couldn't get better, but they were sold out of the OXO, and I noticed that the Inokim NYC store still had a few in stock. I inquired about the scooter through customer service chat on Inokim's website and to my surprise the store's owner, Max, responded. I told him that fluid had a great deal but that I was interested in buying the scooter straight from Inokim, and he matched Fluid's deal in accessories for me! He even offered same day delivery, and delivered on that promise. I was very happy with the sweet deal I got. The OXO was delivered to me by Max personally the same day around 9pm. Unfortunately, when the scooter arrived its front tire was flat. I was disappointed, but that didn't discourage Max. He tried to pump it back up right then and there. He couldn't because there was a hole in the tube. Max apologized, took it back with him, left me with the accessories he promised, and promised that he'd have the problem resolved and the scooter re-delivered to me the next day between the time that was convenient for me. That's exactly what he did! Around 1pm I received the scooter all fixed up and ready to go. I enjoyed the hell out of it for 2 weeks until I started noticing some defects. For example, the front brake had inadequate pressure so I was pretty much limited to using the rear brake only; the brake pads on both wheels were rubbing against the rotor and making a scratching noise (the noise was faint on one wheel and louder on the other); the scooter was making a strange, worrying clicking noise around its folding mechanism, and right after the second week or so, the throttle began to occasionally jam (although that might have been my fault because I didn't receive the scooter with a jammed throttle). Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. I decided to text Max to tell him about the problems I was experiencing. He called me back immediately (great customer service) explained everything that I was experiencing, told me everything with my scooter is easily fixable and that everything was going to be ok. He asked me to bring my scooter into the Inokim store in NYC where I live and that his technician would fix it all for free based on the 1 year manufacturers warranty that came with my scooter. Max did exactly that. He completely came through on his promise and honored the scooters warranty. Once I brought my scooter in his technician fixed every single problem, same day, within about 2 hours. I'm currently sitting on the train on my way back home excited and happy as hell. Max is literally the best, and so is the staff at Inokim. Thank you Max and Inokim for speedily and reliably fixing my scooter! I'm so proud and excited to ride my Inokim OXO scooter! It's such an excellent scooter, and I'm so glad that I bought my scooter from the Inokim store and not from Fluidfreeride. The staff at Inokim really honor the warranty you get with your scooter and fulfill their promises. I would recommend the OXO scooter by Inokim to anyone who could see themselves enjoying riding on a powerful and fierce scooter. I highly recommend that if you live in NYC or somewhere close, to buy an Inokim scooter from the Inokim store in NYC. Max and his staff will help you maintain and repair your scooter if need be. They certainly did for me in a reliable a speedy manner. Thank you again Max and Inokim! You earned this fantastic review!

exilent vintage british mechanic work josh reasently rebuilt the motor on my triumph bonnieville.read more

(I am posting this review anonymously)…read more I am conflicted as I write this review. Hugh (owner & chief mechanic) and Fumi (mechanic) are extremely competent, old-school mechanics, and their positive reputation is well-deserved. Hugh is responsible for keeping the sub-culture of vintage British motorcycles alive and well, in the dealer-infested NYC. I have used the mechanic shop since 2016. I really wish them well and want the shop to continue to succeed. However, over the last couple of years I have had bad experiences with them. Josh who is now the shop manager is lacking in people skills, communication, dependability, follow-through, courtesy & humility and other principles of basic customer service. It is not easy to bypass him, given he also blocks the customers from talking to Hugh directly which is odd given part of the great experience with Sixth St Specials used to be the friendly contact with the mechanics who work on your bike. Most recently, the brand new tyres they installed in June 2020 developed side-wall cracks despite just 6 months/3K mile use. I had diligently inflated the tyres to the manufacturer-recommended PSIs, ridden the motorcycle non-aggressively on tarred roads, and winterized the motorcycle on the center-stand in a weather-controlled garage etc. When I asked for help with filing a warranty claim with the tyre manufacturer Josh was unhelpful despite multiple calls and never followed through. I had to contact the tyre manufacturer directly and have them call the shop to get the purchase details in order to file the claim. Last year, I had poor experiences dealing with Josh as well (for e.g. he insisted that my motorcycle did not have liquid cooling even though it did, pushed me towards the brand of tyre he had in stock, mounted the tyres despite my forewarning that the manufacturing dates were more than 5 years old, gave me strict ultimatums on deciding various options of fix for a rear brake light trigger etc.) I believe this issue is fixable and I hope the shop does not lose its hard-earned reputation because of the shop manager.
