Recently, after trying more dentists than you can shake a stick at, I told my husband to get us an appointment with a dentist. We went to Circle C, although they are not part of our insurance provider. They contacted our insurance carrier and did all the necessary paperwork to get coverage (so thumbs up for the front desk staff!). For years, I have shown dentists the receding of my gum area on the bottom and have gotten just the lecture on smoking. FINALLY, Dr. Pham diagnosed me with periodontal disease (heredity) and reassured me that just doing a gum graft would not cut it. We had to the 'Deep Clean'...dun, dun, dun... I love the fact that he addressed the concern that other doctors in this city DID NOT. I always went back to Dallas for all my dental and optical needs. Now I will not have to. I had them okay doing both sides at once (OUCH, right now), but I am soooo blessed that Quincy, the RDH, has the hands of an artist. I have just begun my process, but I love Dr. Pham's attitude, Quincy, and the entire staff. Now, for my husband...the biggest baby cry when it comes to dentists. He had 13 cavities and also periodontal is all up in his little gums. :D Well, we thought that he was going to have a root canal or two, but Dr. Pham saved him and in the same day, gave him permanent crowns, because my husband travels and cannot make frequent dentist appointments. (Oh, and the rest of the cavities were filled too.) Dr. Pham stayed two hours after closing to finish up so that my husband could enjoy Thanksgiving. I do not care about pricing, and have yet to go to a good dentist in Austin that did not charge a lot. Sincerely, after many health problems, there is not a price for good health. (I have always been a nut about brushing my teeth. In fact, I did it too much.) I love them all. Circle C is where you should go if you have been ignored by other dentists. And I love people with a young, positive, reassuring attitude. And one out of two American adults will have periodontal disease. It does not mean you look jacked up. Love them, and will keep you informed! I am sorry that this is out of order but I have a Chihuahua screaming at me!!!!! Have a good week! read more

I had braces for 5 years, started in middle school and didn't get them off until my junior year in high school. My previous orthodontist really took advantage of my mom and dragged out the entire process and when I finally got my braces off, I was very disappointed with the way my teeth looked. After about two years of being braces free, I decided to get them again with the guarantee that I'd only wear them for 6 months through the 6 months smile program. I actually was ready to have my braces off after only 5 months, but bc I was so busy with school and work, I had to push it back another month. I am so unbelievably happy with my new smile! My teeth are perfect and my entire experience with Dr. Pham and Ashley was amazing!! (Ashley, if you see this, I love you! You're awesome) they were always so nice and caring and love to make people laugh and smile. I was also only supposed to receive two retainers, and I'm getting a total of three. The office is very nice and well kept. I really enjoy being able to watch tv while they work on me bc I sometimes get anxiety when at the dentist and having a distraction is always nice and they also give you the remote and allow you to pick any channel you want. I don't feel like I was ever "over diagnosed" bc when Dr. Pham said I had cavities that needed to be filled, I did in fact have two cavities. I would definitely recommend Circle C dental to anyone! Plus having braces for only 6 months is awesome! Especially when the average time is 2 years!! (Except for me cause I got ripped off) The ONLY draw back for me was the location but that's bc I live about 30-45 minutes away. Anyways, thanks Circle C dental for everything!! I am so so SOOOO happy with my teeth! I can't stop smiling!! Love you guys! read more

Circle C Dental is the best dental office i have EVER been to! i have never left the dentist and been so happy. i even called my mom and told her that i finally found the perfect dentist. (i have lived in austin for seven years and have been going back home to san antonio for dental work because i couldn't find a good doctor here) I don't have dental insurance so the search for me to find an affordable, modern and professional dentist with a friendly staff was a long one. My first visit was for a consultation, I met Dr Pham and and his staff and knew instantly that this was a perfect fit for me. My second visit was for a crown and i knew i would need a couple shots so i was a little nervous, but Dr Pham was amazing, i didn't feel a thing. My mouth needed to be open for awhile since he had to fix my previous root canal and set me up for a new crown, but that wasn't bad either, they kept me comfortable the whole time, i never even tasted anything. The hygienist was smart and very friendly, she kept my mouth dry the entire time, i hate when they let you choke on your spit. My crown was fit that day, and i was sent home with a super strong crown that fit like a glove. i am writing this review a few days later and i am still happy, my mouth closes perfectly and now i have more biting power...no more teeth nightmares!!!! I would like to thank everyone at Circle C Dental for their patience and help. Your waiting area is comfortable and your bathroom is the cleanest bathroom i have ever seen. One more thing that make this place a plus: - a flat screen tv in every room to watch while they are working on you!!!! nice touch read more

For me all aspects of this office, staff and dentist are perfect. I give this dental office and business my highest recommendation. I tell my husband and everyone I know that I love this dentist office. Let me elaborate. Office: immaculate, comfortable and awesome (a pleasant environment in which wait, though I never have to wait!). State of the art equipment and techniques (this staff and dentist are up to date in terms of procedures and new tools); convenience, including the ability to make appointments when I need them and to be seen by professionals. Knowledgeable, professional dentist and staff. The dentist's generosity of time and spirit (like visiting a local school) and making sure that my bite is ok. is not lost on me. These are some of the many touches that make my visit to Circle C Dentist brilliant all the time. I also appreciate, as a wimp when it comes to pain, that they take pain management seriously. They have never done a procudure in which I was in pain. I cannot say that for my last dentist where I did much flinching and wincing. When Circle C Dental does any procedure on me, they check in with me about pain and see if I need anything to numb teeth or gums. I am never in pain in Circle C Dental, in spite of all the work that they do on my teeth. Thank you and keep up the excellent work! read more

I knew two things for sure: I was super nervous about getting my first crown and I'm a big nerd, meaning I love technology! After a disappointing visit to a newly established in-network dental office, where I was treated like a "$ sign" instead of a person, I took my boss' recommendation and gave Circle C Dental and Dr. Pham a chance. I am so glad I did! The previous dentist had recommended 2 crowns and Dr. Pham confirmed one of them to be staining and not an actual cavity. Not only did I save money but I was able to take advantage of the CEREC same-day crown technology. After a series of oral photographs, a computer program directed a sophisticated machine to carve out a custom porcelain crown in just 7 minutes! It was then hand-painted and cured in an oven to match my surrounding teeth perfectly. (I warned you I was a nerd!) The entire visit went smoothly. It is true - they are not contracted with insurance companies - but I actually saved money since I only needed 1 crown instead of 2, and my crowns at the in-network place would have taken weeks to order and be fitted. When it comes to teeth, cheaper is NOT always better. Why mess around with something you use everyday? I'm 5 days out from having received my crown, and it feels great. I will definitely recommend Dr. Pham to others! read more

I have been going to Circle C Dental for 5 years... When I went the first time, they gave me a recommendation for some work that I needed. No surprise to me - I knew (based on my previous dentist's diagnosis) that I would need this work done. My uncle, who is also a dentist, agreed with the assessment. For those who have written to complain about over-diagnosing, I suspect that if you questioned them further, you will find that they 1) do not floss regularly 2) do not brush their teeth thoroughly and 3) do not rinse with a mouth wash after brushing. Annual and bi-annual cleanings are not a guaranteed prevention to gum disease. RATHER - flossing, brushing well, and using a mouth wash DO prevent gum disease. My husband has the most messed up teeth possible - a gold mine for any dentist. In the past, every dentist he has gone to has tried to "sell" him on some must-have procedure. Dr. Pham is the first dentist my husband feels comfortable seeing because Dr. Pham is being honest and open with him - someone who isn't trying to milk us (and our insurance company) out of money. I truly appreciate Dr. Pham and his staff - all are very professional, knowledgeable, and do not go for the "hard sell". Thank you Circle C Dental! read more

I am very happy, satisfied, and grateful that I went to Circle C Dental and met with Dr. Pham. For years I had a serious periodontal disease under my teeth and gums unknown to myself or my preceding dentist. I decided to see Dr. Pham as I wanted a second opinion on what was going on with my teeth, loose teeth, lose of two teeth. Dr. Pham diagnosed the disease and recommended laser surgery. I was apprehensive, anxious, and just a little scared about having this "minor" laser surgery. Well it was "minor" and basically a painless procedure. However my gums were a little soar for about a week afterwards, no beef jerky for a while, but that is of little consequence. Here it is one year later and the disease is gone, my teeth feel great, look great, and in fact the gums and gum line have been regenerating and I have a great gum foundation now. Thank you so much Dr. Pham! If you have a similar serious gum disease I highly recommend that you see Dr. Pham an consider the laser surgery. It work great for me and I'm very happy about the outcome! I recommend that you see Dr. Pham and his team anyway. They are an excellent team know what they're doing. read more

There are not enough words to express the excellence in care that Circle C delivers. I originally came to the office for a cleaning, but in the same appointment inquired about the 6 month braces that I had seen in a brochure. I had a small space from a crooked tooth that had bothered me ever since I can remember, so I briefly mentioned getting that fixed. Dr. Pham discussed my options with me and was very thorough and upfront about the pros and cons of each. We decided that the 6 Month Braces would work well with my case, and I immediately began figuring out the funds. It wasn't easy making the payment, but I can tell you that it was worth it. The phrase, "you get what you pay for" is a valid statement! I got my braces off today, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Looking back, it is worth way more than what I paid for. Dr. Pham and Amanda provided excellent care and were passionate about my satisfaction. Now I have a great smile to flash just in time for graduation! :) All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. As long as their doors are open, they will have my business. I wish I could give them more stars. read more

I went in because I needed my a crown on my front tooth replaced (ugh - expensive!) and I was leaving for a trip to Europe in two weeks. I chose Circle C because I knew that they do same day crowns using their in-house equipment. But you should know (I wish they had told me) that it's really difficult to get a single, front-tooth crown to look good, that usually requires the lab. Dr. Pham did his best to get it right, but (fortunately) he's a perfectionist and it wasn't perfect. So he covered the rush fee for me to send it to the lab and it came back looking absolutely amazing. I really appreciated that he took on the effort and expense to make sure that my trip was a great one! Let me also say, I appreciate that they don't make you feel guilty if you haven't been to the dentist in, oh, 5 years or so... and they tell you the facts of what you need without pushing anything on you, it's all up to you. Nice place. read more

Dr Pham and his team are great! Normally dentistry is uncomfortable and just not a fun or pleasant experience. This group makes going to the dentist fun. I have done cleanings, whitenings and am also doing Invisalign. It has all been great, and I enjoy going into their office every 2 weeks. It feels like a family. I don't have insurance, however I have not found their office to be any more expensive than the other independent Dentist Offices I have gone to. I enjoy watching TV overhead while they work on me, my son watches videos/dvds or can plan games in the waiting room... and the couple of times I could not get a sitter and had to bring him with they were very understanding and helpful! So, if you want an experience that is more than the "clinical", "intimidating", non-compassionate care that is sometimes associated with a yearly Dentist visit - DO check them out! read more

Another 3 visits since my last review. 2 new cavities (and fillings) and of course some cleanings. This past visit, Heather, the hygenist who has taken care of me the past 3 times, took the time to teach me how to floss properly so I wouldn't have another cavity the next time I came in. You'd think that as a nearly 30 year old, I would know how - but my cavities say not. :) Office still looks brand new after 2 years of coming in - and I still love watching some E! while getting my cleanings done. The above-chair TVs are a welcome distraction. Dr Pham did a great job on my 2 fillings - no pain during the procedure (even the shot), and just the tiniest amount after the novacaine wore off a few hours later. Even though it's a drive (I live in N. Austin), I'll continue coming down to Circle C since Dr Pham and the staff are so awesome. read more

I have been going to Circle C Dental since September 2008 and couldn't be happier there. Dr. Pham is awesome and has such a positive attitude while still telling it like it is. He is also very open about giving you all of your options for anything that might be going on with your particular dental needs. And it's not just Dr. Pham, but also the hygienists (personally Quincy for me, but also Ashley and Heather) who have been amazing to me and my 2 daughters - who have been going there with me and are now 14 and 15. And lastly the front office staff with Amanda and Gabby: they are always so friendly and helpful with appointments and insurance information. And they always know exactly who I am when I call in. That's the kind of personalized service I really appreciate. I'm very happy that I found this office! read more

I have visited the circle dental office twice since last DEC, like the doctors and staff, they are nice, willing to answer questions, also teeth cleaning experience is a lot better than my previous one. During the visit, they do not try to push to sell you the things you might not need, they generally tell you what they observe from your teeth and offer casual recommendation, but do not sell hard on any of those. Some people mentioned the price, I do not feel that because I do not feel it is more expensive than my previous one. But the super good experience make me feel this is an "expensive" experience, although actually not much money out of my pocket. I made my next appointment, and walked out of the office all smile and feel good with my teeth after visiting the office. read more

Dr Pham took such great care of me. I have one very difficult and problematic tooth in my mouth that has been through multiple procedures and I was reluctant to let anyone touch it again, but I knew it needed a new crown when I moved to Austin. Dr Pham rose to the challenge and fixed what other dentists before him had not been able to fix. When it was clear that this tooth was going to require more than the usual appointment time, he didn't hesitate to take his time on it and get it right. He was also very good about talking me through everything as it was happening, to ease my anxiety, and was very patient in answering all my questions. A very nice guy. read more

I highly recommend Circle C Dental! Their offices are very clean and organized, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I don't think I've ever waited more than 3 minutes for my appointment. Quincy always does my cleanings and remembers who I am even though I only see her 2x a year. I'm not a big fan of shots but when I was in just a few days ago I had the best experience ever - the numbing solution that they put on before the shot worked so well I didn't even feel the shot! Dr. Pham is very friendly and explains everything he is doing to make sure you feel comfortable and at ease. I'll be a patient for a very long time at Circle C Dental! read more

Was just talking to friends this morning about how they get nervous going to the dentist. I can't say I share their experience. All of my dentist visits to Circle C Dental have been very positive, dare I say pleasurable. Quincy is brilliant, and fun, and puts you at ease during cleanings. She keeps me on target and I haven't had a cavity in a long time. As a dentist, Dr. Pham is extremely contentious and considerate and lets you know exactly what is happening before he does it. I'm terrified of dental shots, but with his technique I didn't really feel anything. Thank goodness my cavity days seem to be long gone. Highly recommend! read more

I have dentist-phobia. Somewhere in my past, I got freaked out. It takes a lot for me to get more than a cleaning. Because of that, I have let getting the more inportant things done on my teeth. I made the decison to have my old, old, metal fillings removed to help reduce the occurance of heavy metal leakage due to a family history of dementia. I am happy to say that I survived the replacement of TWO fillings and a crown with the help of medication that was administered during the procedure. I am so thankful for the care and concern that Dr. Pham and his staff have for me. He is my Go-To-Dentist. read more

Dr. Pham and his team are great! My whole family go to him for check ups . I have had absolutely pain free fillings and crowns done by him. Truly pain free (as a person with sensitive jaw nerves from surgery I appreciate this aspect a lot!!). The whole team is friendly and helpful. I recommend this office to all !!! And they make your crowns while you wait. No returning to have crown put in you mouth . In terms of my treatments I gave seen with that little camera of his that goes in the mouth, that I really needed the work he recommended . So no complaints of unnecessary work recommended . read more
