Appreciate that they are kind and patient and explaining and their sensitivity to the uncomfortability that typically comes along with being in the dentist office. They do seem very organized and on the ball whether it comes to scheduling or an explanation of a bill as can often happen. So I am not a big fan of dentists....at all. I had braces growing up and retainers and my orthodontist was good at his job but had a terrible bedside manner and condescending nature. Fast forward 10 years. After being a bit lax on my oral care and not having dental insurance I was afraid I would need an awful amount of work. I actually came here for a second opinion as the first place I went decided I needed all kinds of things done. Come to find out I have perfectly healthy teeth, just need to get the gums in check from years of not flossing. The entire staff was very helpful in coordinating my deep cleaning and getting me special anesthetics since I can't have anything with ephedrine, they even got me a small prescription to ease my nerves on deep cleaning day. The process was easy for me and I had very little soreness, oh and they didn't try to charge a crazy amount. I was only out minimal money because my insurance covered 90% of the procedure....my portion was also 100s of dollars less than the previous place. Since then I have used them for all of me cleanings and I really love that I always get the same hygienist and they know my name when I walk in. I can't vouch for any serious procedures but for what I need from the dentist they are awesome. I don't even mind the 20 minute drive it takes for me to get super South. I've been with these guys for about 2 years and don't plan on going anywhere else. read more

Good for cleanings, but this dentist is awful at procedures (fillings, etc). I have a high tolerance for pain, but twice, she rushed through my fillings, injecting the pain meds and immediately drilling, not waiting 5 minutes for the numbing to set in like every other dentist in the world would. If you know you will only ever need cleanings, great. Anything more, run. Find another dentist. read more

I LOVE Dr. Chittajallu!!! I have been seeing her for almost a year and have no complaints! I was super-afraid of dentists before my first visit with her. She and her staff are calm, reassuring and explain everything as it is happening, which I love. Recently I had trouble with a crown and Dr. Chittajallu was very sensitive to my pain and panic and saw me on short notice several times for over a month until it was completely fixed. She is also great about explaining costs and planning dental work to fit into your yearly insurance allowance. I really can't say enough good about her, she is very caring, actually listens to her patients and is always in a good mood! Dr Chittajallu is an excellent dentist! I am terrified of the dentist and she was absolutely wonderful about it. I had a couple of cavities that had to get filled at two separate appointments, but it was such a relief to get the cavities resolved and I've had no issues with the fillings since then. I also got a cleaning done and my hygienist, Ginger, gave me the best dental cleaning I've ever gotten. She even gave me some great advice on my dental care. I've had bad experiences with dentists pretty much all my life. I found Dr. Chittajallu two years ago because I had an emergency, and her office was open on Saturday. Wasn't at all nervous or disappointed. Went there today, was seen under two hours after I called, and got things taken care of. She has the best technology available. Digital x-rays (no awkward sharp film stuck in your mouth), and milling crowns in her office, in about an hour. None of this "temporary crown, wait a few weeks for the outsourced lab to make it". It's all done right then and there. I don't even have insurance, but I'm still glad to have her do it any day of the week. She uses Cerec to make crowns, basically they image the tooth in question, and mill (basically 3d print) your new crown. If you need a dentist, give them a call. read more

This place is great!! Open on Saturdays, great staff and dental hygienists (Ginger is the best!) and a very convenient location. My husband, who is very squeamish enjoyed watching soccer during his appointment. I have not even seen or met this woman in person yet but I will definitely be making her me primary dentist! I have a broken tooth that is causing me mind boggling pain. I set up a request for an an appt on saturday, She herself called my phone Saturday morning and left a mssg telling me she was out of state but will be back @ her office Wednesday. She even went so far as to suggest another dentist that would be able to see me on Saturday and relieve my pain. I was unable to see her suggestion due to my work schedule but I think I am going to tough it out until she gets back to town. Ive got to meet this woman going out of her way like that while she is on vacation to call me personally is awesome! cant wait for her to fix me up! read more

Dr. Lakshmi Chittajallu runs a wonderful office. She just completed an extensive amount of dental fillings and crowns for me and my wife. She takes the time to show us why the work needs to be done and produces before and after photos of her work. Dentistry is a very visible medical procedure and the results are very easy to both see and feel. She is great with those needles that are required to start the process. Dr. Lakshmi Chittajallu is the BEST dentist. Her office is beautiful, modern, and has all the latest - most advanced technology. When you walk in you think you're going to be paying top dollar to cover these costs. To my surprise, her treatment plan was much less than the treatment plan presented by our regular dentist. Dr. Lakshmi was our "second opinion", but as it turned it, she is now our Primary dentist. She agreed to see us on very short notice. I called on a Friday and said I needed a second opinion for work that was scheduled to be done on the following Monday. Could she please see our son on Saturday? Her office manager, Sylvia, was great! Sylvia contacted our insurance to confirm benefits, analyzed our treatment plan from our existing dentist, and made us an appointment for Saturday. Not only did their treatment plan come in for less money, but they would be able to do the work (three crowns) in their own office and all on the same day. That Saturday when she met with us, she gave us a very reassuring feeling, and actually did the root canal right then and there. No need to take time off work! We went back a week later to have the three crowns made. Her work and skill is unmatched! She created the crowns in her office while we waited. When she was done, the three crowns (on all front teeth), were PERFECT! The color, shape, fit, bite, everything! She is truly amazing. I had a dental emergency back in March on a Friday night and was trying to find a dentist who opened on Saturdays. I left messages at different offices and Southwest Smiles was the only one that called me back. They were able to see me that same day and I've been to see Dr. Chittajallu many times since. It is always a great experience. Everybody is very nice, the office has state of the art equipment with TVs in each room, and Dr. Chittajallu is always professional, yet personable. Southwest Smiles and Dr. Chittajallu came highly recommended to me by several of our neighbors. We were looking to transition from our current dentist for various reasons and decided to try her out. I am so glad I did. Her professionalism, integrity, experience and skill is top notch. I had a fairly complicated set of dental procedures performed including extractions, fillings and a crown. Every one of these procedures was performed in a highly skilled and professional manner in a very comfortable environment where you feel you are among friends. The icing on the cake was that the crown was finished in a couple of hours using the CEREC technology in her office. All I can say is WOW! I went in for a 2nd opinion in pain from a lesser dental chain. The staff was so nice and friendly and Dr. Chittajallu was precise about locating from where on the tooth the pain was coming since a former dentist had recently filled it. The other dentist from the lesser chain dismissed me as having a wisdom tooth issue after following up without even examining the tooth (just looking at xrays). Dr. Chittajallu diagnosed my tooth as fractured, gave me two referrals to endodontists to make sure at least one would be in-network. I called Dr. Chittajallu's office to tell that I got a same-day appointment with the referred endodontist and they sent my DIGITAL xray right over! The facilities are very nice, clean and TVs are attached to the dental chair so you can forget you're in a dentist's office! I will be scheduling appointments for my husband and children.
