I've never liked going to the dentist (surprise surprise) but Dr. Pham and his talented staff have changed my mind. They're thoughtful, talented, and aren't afraid to employ technology to improve the patient experience. I recently had a second crown put on, and it was all done in-house with high-grade ceramic, and in about 2.5 hours. Gone are the days of a temp crown and multiple trips to the dentist. They use a 3D scanner to replicate the look and feel of your original tooth, and the fit is amazing. The team is knowledgable, friendly, and smile a lot. Dr. Pham is approachable and talks about procedures in clear terms, explaining the options. I'm so glad I found this team. read more

I went in for my yearly cleaning and dental exam. They had a fine office, with an x-ray system that was digital and very fast (good for people like me with a strong gag reflex). That said, I have serious concerns. Dr. Pham showed me some x-rays, saying that my gums had irreparable damage and that one of my teeth had a large amount of decay which would likely need a root canal. He also recommended sealants, a four-session deep cleaning procedure, and other things totalling over $3000 after insurance. I've generally had healthy teeth (I'm 29 years old) so I went to another dentist (call him Dr. W) for a second opinion, a $185 out-of-pocket expense. According to him, I have essentially flawless teeth, except for some light wear from grinding (hey, I've got a 2-month-old, what can I say). Now I don't know enough about dentistry to make any accusations, but it does seem unlikely that Dr. W would mislead me into thinking my teeth are healthy. I've seen that a similar review has been filtered, and I bet this one will be, too. But I'm a real person and this happened to me. read more

I had a misaligned bite to the point that my back upper and lower teeth did not touch. Asked Dr. Pham to evaluate it, which he did. His treatment plan was to file away enamel to make my bite "level." I refused this. Had Invisalign treatment at another dentist's recommendation. I now have straight teeth, and my upper and lower teeth appropriately meet when I bite down. I'm surprised he did not recommend braces or Invisalign. read more

ok, i don't think i like circle c dental anymore ... I have been going for about a year. They just called me to confirm my appt., but I couldn't recall having one.. and I said I need to to a different day. The receptionist then said that since this is the 3rd cancelation (mind you, it's not really canceling it's rescheduling for another day! it's not a same day cancellation!), so, they need to do a PREPAY on my insurance deductible. WTF! I said NO to the prepay and won't be doing that ever. I will only pay when I show up and get something done. I am going to look for another dentist. They have lost 2 customers --me & my husband, now. P.S. The staff is nice and so is the doctor. Disagree with their procedure, plus they are waaaay expensive! read more

I had two services conducted at Dr. Pham's office; one was less than average and the other went alright, however it was performed by a third party practitioner and not Dr. Pham. Dr. Pham gave me a list of things that were wrong with my teeth and gums and procedures that I needed. They weren't minor problems either. They were problems that would require follow up appts every three months. I got a second opinion and as I suspected, none of the diagnoses were accurate and the fees were much higher than what my new dentist's office generally charges.. I gave this office two stars because the referral he gave me seemed to do an alright job. However, the fact that the one service his office did perform, a teeth cleaning, had to be touched up less than a month later, should negate the second star. read more

Let me start this off by saying that I used to be a dental assistant in Ohio before moving to Texas. At my visit at Circle C Dental they tried to up sell me into getting work done that didn't need to be done. I used to work in the field, I know that I do not need a deep clean for teeth that only has 3's and 4's. I didn't feel like the hygienist was very thorough and I felt like the dentist wasn't sincere or had integrity. I canceled my follow up appointment with them asap. read more

Really? I'm yelping a damn dentist's office?? ActualIy, I really like Dr. Pham and his staff. I have had various maintenance and whitening procedures done and as an "impatient patient", I am ready to get the hell out of there within the first 20 minutes. They are very patient and understand how to manage me so that they can get whatever procedure done with minimal discomfort to, or bitching from me. :). I just had my 4th crown at CCD and I am thrilled as always by the care and service provided by Dr. Pham and his staff. Start to finish was 2 hours- this included removing an old crown and replacing it with a new one that was a perfect fit. I love that CCD offers the best and newest technology- what used to take weeks and several trips to the office now is done in 2 hours. Amazing. Also I'm not sure where Dr. Pham would be without Amanda- she is so nice and always takes the time to answer all of my dumb questions. I highly recommend CCD! read more

To echo the other one- and two-star reviews: This office seems to be engaged in routine misdiagnosis and over-provision of care. Here's my personal story: First but least importantly, the office staff misled me about insurance coverage for their services -- seemingly intentionally. They told me that they accepted my insurance and charged me a $25 "copay," saying that $25 was the typical cost for an insured patient but that they wouldn't know the full coverage until they had submitted to insurance. A few days later, they sent me a bill for an additional $100 (beyond what my insurance paid) because they're out-of-network for all insurance carriers, a fact that they carefully avoided communicating to me ahead of time. Dr. Pham doesn't accept negotiated rates from insurance companies and balance-bills his patients for the difference between the insured rate and his much higher rate. Their careful non-answers about insurance when I made the appointment would be illegal if they were intentionally calculated to draw me in. Second and much more importantly, the hygienist and Dr. Pham diagnosed me with periodontitis and urged me to come back for a deep cleaning, a procedure that would require two anesthetized appointments and would cost me nearly $1000 out of pocket (as well as costing my insurance an additional couple hundred). I couldn't believe that the diagnosis was correct given that I've had regular cleanings every six months for most of my life and had never before heard that I was a borderline case for gum disease. Since I needed to switch to an in-network dentist anyway, I got my records from Circle C and went to another office for a second opinion. The Rose Dental Group reviewed my x-rays and gum scores, checked my gums themselves, and could not believe that anyone could possibly have diagnosed me with periodontitis. Furthermore, the hygienist at Rose said that it would have been unethical for a dentist to give me a routine cleaning if I *did* have periodontitis because a routine cleaning would trap the calcification below the gum line, worsening the condition. A good dentist confronting a perio patient, she said, will recommend a deep cleaning only, not a routine cleaning followed by a deep cleaning a few weeks later. Of course, you might think that Dr. Pham was right and Rose was wrong, but Pham has every incentive to make his patients think they need more care while Rose has no incentive (other than medical and professional ethics) to tell fearful patients that they're doing fine without further treatment. Furthermore, the more I think about the interaction with Circle C's staff, the more red flags I remember. For instance, when the hygienist first took x-rays, she said they looked great and perfectly healthy, but once she started her song and dance about gum disease, she started saying that the x-rays showed signs of bone loss. Why the change of tune? In short: Please be very suspicious of anything this office recommends for you for follow-up care. Dr. Pham will give you a whole spiel about how gum disease doesn't cause pain or other visible symptoms until it's too late and how you need to take preventive measures now to avoid losing your teeth at a young age. He'll then encourage you to Google the issue if you're skeptical -- which, of course, won't help you figure out whether you, individually, need the care he's recommending. He gives a scary sales pitch, but he's just trying to get you back in the door for more extremely expensive care that you don't need. Believe the others in these reviews who say that the office is all about profit and is misdiagnosing patients. Save yourself money and fear; go somewhere else. read more

Well I just got home from my Emergency! bracket replacement at Dr. Pham's office. Bracket replacement... you might be wondering? About a year ago I decided to invest in straightening my teeth. I have lived with a smile that I was not proud of all my life and one day I came across an ad on Facebook for EZ braces. To make a long story short Dr. Pham and his team were awesome!!! I had the braces on for 5-6 months and they even worked me in the schedule to have the braces removed a couple of days before my 36th birthday. My confidence has never been higher and I love my beautiful smile. Dr. Pham was always understanding with me. I was very hard on the braces, retainer and he kept working with me to offer solutions to my stuborn teeth until we got it just right. This was by far the best investment I have ever made. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pham and his fabulous staff. They have treated my husband and I like family always remembering details about us and being so friendly. Let me start by saying I've had dental anxiety for a very long time, to the point of skipping yearly cleanings so I wouldn't have to deal with confronting issues with my teeth. After multiple visits to Dr. Pham I can honestly say that I have COMPLETELY worked through it thanks to them. He and his team are incredible. They are honest, practical and they aren't condescending like some dentists I've been to in the past. They also really take their time with each patient and they listen very well. Worst.Dentist.Office.Ever. Do not go to Dr. Pham's dental office in Circle C. They overcharge on their services and are not helpful in taking care of your insurance needs. In addition, they went ahead and set up an appointment for my son without his approval and are now demanding a fee for not keeping his appointment. This is ridiculous and so unprofessional. I feel that their staff is inexperienced and that Dr. Pham's office's main goal is to make money and not so much about patient and family relationship. I am extremely dissatisfied with this dental office and will definitely not recommend Dr. Pham to anyone. Final point - beware of going to a new dentist office. I went to Circle C dental in October of 2016 with an emergency toothache that I needed checked out. They just happened to be the closest high rated dentist near me. They got me in and out extremely fast and the dentist was very gentle as my gums were delicate at the time. I was able to go on with my 3 year old and had no complaints from the dentist or nurses. The dentist was extremely helpful, patient, and informative. I later found out that they were not covered under my insurance and received my required procedure t another dentist, but Circle C was patient with me as far as payment and set up m option to allow me to pay them out of pocket at MY convenience. I commend this facility and would recommend them to any and everyone. I will be back even if I have to pay out of pocket. I would rather pay for good quality speedy service than go to someone who is under my insurance and not receive the same services. Thank you Circle C!!! read more

Got recommended dr Pham by my buddy. My tooth chipped and broke pretty bad. My buddy said he made a crown in the same visit. I went there and amazingly it's true. The staff were really nice and friendly and explained why I needed what I need. Dr Pham explained it well and showed me the process. Blew my mind to watch it. Amazing. Tooth was done in the same visit and it felt brand new. I didn't even know this was possible. If you need a dentist, just check him out. He's the man (or I mean the dentist). read more

I really wish this place would leave our nice neighborhood :) I was diagnosed with a cavity at my visit as was my son. I took him to a top notch pediatric dentist for a second opinion and I went to my husband's top rated dentist for a second opinion of my own. As it turned out, neither of us had cavities. I was particularly annoyed by this since my son was a young child at the time, and very anxious about dental visits. -seems they were going to needlessly put a child through that discomfort just to make a few bucks.
