    Pool at Circa 39 Hotel

Gloria at the front desk was so helpful from the time we arrived and throughout the entire visit! This a great place to stay while visiting Miami Beach. The pool and restaurant are amazing! This is clean, safe, accommodating, and affordable. It's very homey! Ingrid at the front desk is also a sweetheart!

I don't know how this is a 4-star hotel. The pics online are not accurate - It's much more shabby and worn. There are no curtains, wallpaper, throw pillows or blanket. The shower had black and pink MOLD all over in the grout and caulk. The room had a dank musty smell. The rooms with an outside entrance have emergency lights in front of the window, so light will blast your face when you're trying to sleep. There are no blackout shades. The AC made a loud clanging noise, preventing any semblance of sleep. I had to ask the front desk agent several times to move rooms, as he didn't seem to believe me about the issues I had with ours. The new room smelled better, the AC was quiet, and there was less mold in the shower. There was still a good amount of mold. It did have a leaky shower and a broken hair dryer instead. The only parking is the hotel-owned lot across the street that's $45/day. The gym is smaller than our actual room and is an un-air conditioned, windowless prison cell in a basement. The weights are rusty and about 2 people can squeeze in there, if you're brave enough. It's super hot and just GRIM. There are no mats (not like there is room to put one though) and no water either. Housekeeping didn't come on day 2, so I requested it, as I needed towels and trash removal. The housekeeping guy told me someone said they cleaned my room, and didn't believe me that they didn't. He made me walk him to my room to show him. I had been gone all day, and just returned. It was 5pm. He said, "So you didn't just get in the bed and mess it up?!" Um no, and I didn't just fill up 2 trash bags with leftovers either. Housekeeping didnt come on day 3 so we had to request it AGAIN. They told us it was supposed to be cleaned daily. Having to prove multiple times that shit wasn't working correctly and wasn't clean was really frustrating. The only pros are the courtyard is nice, and the beach is a block away. From 9-5 there are chairs and umbrellas out just for the hotel guests. There isn't anything to do around the area, barely any restaurants or bars that are that close to walk to. The rooms were around $400/night when I stayed there. It felt more like a Holiday Inn instead of a 4 star hotel. Save your money, get a clean shower, and go somewhere else.

I was looking for a hotel near the beach as well as near the cruise port. I stayed here for a day before going on a cruise. Overall, it was a great experience. It's a cute hotel. Right when we pulled up, someone came out to bring our bags in. We were there very early And they took our bags and told us that they could get our room in an hour. We were very happy about that and waited as check-in is not until 4 PM. The room itself is on the small side however it was very clean and cute. They include Robes for two people. There is a refrigerator as well as a mini coffee maker with some coffee. The coffee is complementary, but the two water bottles next to it are not. They are eight dollars each. There are no sign telling you that. The only thing that was negative for us personally is the lack of electrical plugs. They do have an alarm clock with multiple USB charger ports, but using an iPhone we did not have the correct USB charger. There was only one electrical plug on the other side of the room behind the table in order to charge our phones. I really wanted to go to the beach however going in December I did not realize how cold the water would be. It is a short walk across the street in between two buildings. You cannot see it from the hotel, but it is a short walk. There we each had a lounge chair and a shared umbrella reserved. The weather was nice and took a nap at the beach. We did go back to the hotel and use the pool as it was heated. Unfortunately, their website is not accurate with the restaurant they have. The restaurant online states it was Jules and that it has room service. When I went there, it is called Tiki burgers, pool and grill. So they do need to update their website. The restaurant is on their porch and as well as inside the lobby area with a bar. It seems like most of the hotels on that street are similar set up. There is a CVS two doors down to purchase bottled water, snacks or things if you're interested. They do not have an actual pharmacy, but there is a Walgreens over the bridge. When booking the room on their website, it asked if we wanted to include breakfast. We added the breakfast to our room. It did not give us any information about what was included in the breakfast. When we checked in, we were given a card for the breakfast. We went to the restaurant in the morning and we were told that eggs, bacon or turkey sausage, and toast with coffee was the only breakfast available with purchasing it with the room. They did have lots of selection of other breakfast items to buy if you do not purchase it with the room. . I do recommend checking out Circa 39 hotel . I definitely would stay there again.

This place is really cute! Sure, there is some wear & tear, but it's a pretty good place to stay! It's not beach front but it's just steps away from the beach. If you rent a car, there is no free parking for hotel guest. We ended up parking across the street from the hotel which was $45 per 24 hours. There's a restaurant in the hotel, we didn't eat here but we did get a smoothie and sat by the pool one morning. The smoothie was delicious. CVS is like a 3 min walk from the hotel, which is so nice because you can go and get snacks (which is way cheaper then going and sitting down somewhere to eat) Overall, I recommend this place.

So cute and trendy! We only stayed one night but I'd totally come back. They upgraded us to a king room upon arrival. There are cute outdoor seating areas, with bikes and a pool. There are robes and coffee in the room. The bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend! Only downside is no parking available.

Fried Brussel Sprouts. They look burned, don't they?

The food was beyond tasteless. I mean, no flavor at all. I ordered the Sweet Chili Cauliflower, the Fried Brussel Sprouts, and the Buffalo Wings. I opted to have all items brought out together, but all 3 were "room temperature." The Bay Breeze drink was good though I didn't taste any alcohol. What the restaurant had going for it was the outside terrace where I ate. But the cloth napkin was permanently stained making me question things. Would I go back? No. But, I'm on vacation and decided not to complain.

This is steak and pineapple&fries And rice with veggies and salmon! So goooood

The restaurant is amazing, we order food every second day, its so good, quality and price amazing, love it, my recommendation We will be eating here during our vacation!!

Every staff member from the front desk to housekeeping were super friendly and helpful. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Rooms are clean and cozy. Can't wait to go back!!!

Dec' 2023 \\ We stayed here for two nights before we disembarked on a cruise. The staff was very welcoming. We stayed in room 1102. The room was cozy & the bed was comfortable. It was perfect for my (adult) son & I. The only downside to the room was that it smelt a little musky but it didn't bother us much as we brought an air purifier that seemed to help. The hotel was conveniently located near a cafe, CVS, liquor store & was within a couple minute walk to the beach. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was good - our server Jemay was fabulous! Even though he seemed to be in the weeds, he kept a smile on his face. The drinks that we had with dinner were delicious!! Keep an eye on your bill, Miami tends to include 18% gratuity automatically - I found this out later - after I had left a $30 cash tip, doh! Overall - we would stay at this cute, boutique hotel again! =)

Great area, a really cool waitstaff, and lovey atmosphere

The Mac and Cheese was yummy, not the best I had but it's worth getting! The location is beautiful and pleasant. Come if you are in Mid-Beach.

This was my first time visiting Miami and my partner picked this place bcus she'd stayed here before. The hotel is nice and colorful. Very inviting on the outside. Our room was not ready when we arrived so they stored our bags for us and we went to see sights and grab something to eat. Pros. Location was close to a lot of really nice places to eat and stores to get necessities. Liquor stores are literally everywhere you look so you can avoid their really high drink prices. Across the street from the beach. Really friendly restaurant staff. Cons. The towels had hair in the them. The shower had so much hair in it. We requested another room and never got it. They didn't give enough towels for a room with 2 guest. They said we had to request cleaning 24 hours in advance due to staffing and we understood. We go out one day and come back to our bed made and no towels at all. Trash emptied from one can but not the other. Very important items were left out bcus we assumed no one would enter. It was quite weird to half clean a room when no one requested it. The view from our room look directly into the room of the building next door so the windows had to stay closed the entire trip and a room with a view was requested at booking. The room is really small and not functional for more than one guest. I would not stay here again when visiting Miami. I took pics of everything except this room. Smh.

We had a great one night stay here--this is an awesome option for the price point. One block to the beach with free comfy lounge chairs, a small cute private pool, and a bar/restaurant on site. The hotel itself is super cute with bright and colorful decor. The downsides were how packed the pool area got in the afternoon and the long wait for a drink at wunderbar at happy hour. Would definitely return if I had another trip planned for the area.

    Bedroom

Great little hotel just off the beach. Easy access to the boardwalk, beach and trolley. They have chairs and umbrellas for guests daily until 5:00. The staff was friendly. The only real problems we had were 1) the doors are out of alignment and have to be slammed to to get them to latch and lock behind you. So in the morning and evening you will hear doors slamming constantly because it's the only way they latch. Not ideal. We also came back to our room one evening to find another guests clothes in one of our suitcases. It had been misplaced by the housekeeper apparently. All in all a great stay. We did not eat at the restaurant but there is a nice little bodega next door and a pizza place a couple doors down as well as a CVS.

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

Included with your resort fee are cool fitness sessions, daily gelato, and complimentary beach chairs. Umbrella is not included ($30 extra) and the day beds run around $300 - $350. It also included 2 hour bike Art Deco tour. Self parking is $55 and Valet is $58 so really no difference. Anything you care to do is probably walking distance which is great including a park for pets and kids. There is an on location restaurant called LoLo's Surf Cantina that you can order to the beach after 11:00 am. The rooms are small but accommodating. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because the upkeep is moderate. We found serval places with mold, dust, and stains.

The staff were generally friendly, and a few were especially helpful. They handled three packages I had shipped to the hotel efficiently, though there was a sizable per-package fee. Small touches like afternoon boozy gelato samples and a lobby change machine for breaking $20s into $5s were appreciated. Breakfast at Lolo's was decent. My Marriott status included breakfast for two, though the included menu was much shorter than the regular one and the portions were modest. Still, the food was cooked to order, tasted good, and the servers kindly let me order both breakfasts since I was traveling alone. I didn't try the Japanese restaurant on site, but I heard good things and enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants instead, especially La Grande Boucherie. I paid a substantial premium for an oceanfront double room, but I'm not sure I would do that again. The balcony and glass door were fairly small, and the balcony felt boxed in for privacy. Next time I might prefer a cheaper park-side room on a higher floor, which could still offer a nice park and ocean view. The biggest disappointment was the late checkout. My Marriott Platinum Elite status is supposed to include guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, but the hotel would not honor it. Each day I was told to check again later, and in the end they could only offer 1 p.m. That created real scheduling problems, since I had planned around the advertised benefit. With no good place in the hotel to work or take calls after checkout, I ended up going to the airport hours early. The status is supposed to provide a room upgrade, but that wasn't available either. A couple of other issues matched complaints I had seen in recent reviews. One elevator stopped for several minutes with a group of us inside and did not respond to the buttons, which was uncomfortable even though the door eventually opened. I also received a call inviting me downstairs for a "welcome gift," which turned out to be a Marriott Vacation Club sales pitch. That should be presented more honestly. Overall, this was a decent stay and I might return. But given the failure to honor the guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, I would compare other options carefully before booking again.

We spent the afternoon by the pool, enjoying drinks and snacks, which were delicious and the perfect way to relax. Later, we headed to Happy Hour at Lido, and it was fantastic. The drinks were excellent, the food was great, and the waterfront setting made the experience even more special. The entire property has a laid-back luxury feel, with beautiful landscaping, comfortable seating areas, and amazing views. Whether you're visiting for a spa day, drinks by the pool, or Happy Hour at Lido, The Standard delivers a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend for a relaxing day in Miami Beach!

The rooms have been thoughtfully re-designed, but still have that cold Miami cinder block feel. In other words you won't do more than sleep in them. The pool area is fantastic with a bay view and plenty of chairs. Lido Grill, the main restaurant, is nicely done and people / pet friendly. Service was good, once you got their attention, which was on you, not them...we had the lobster, fairly priced at $39, but was like rubber and inedible. Sides were a throw away. Drinks were very good. Other points, nice mini bar in room, however NO coffee in room and coffee shop doesn't open until 7 AM. A regular room, facing back away from bay, dinner for 2, minor mini bar invasion (2 drinks) valet, was over $1100. Not worth the cost.

The kind of place where…read moreyou walk into the lobby and instantly feel like you've stepped into a glossy magazine spread. High ceilings, marble everywhere, and a buzz that tells you you're in the right place. What impressed me most? There's genuinely plenty to do for all ages, which is not something you can say about every Miami resort. Whether you're traveling with kids, teens, adults, or a multigenerational crew, everyone finds their lane here. The pool scene is the heartbeat of the property. Multiple pools, each with its own personality -- family-friendly areas with space to splash, quieter corners for lounging, and the high-energy spots where the music and cocktails flow. Service was dialed in across the board: fast, friendly, and always one step ahead. Rooms were spotless and stylish, with balconies that make you want to order room service just to soak in the view a little longer. Housekeeping kept everything crisp, and every request was met with that effortless "of course" attitude. Dining is another standout. From quick bites to full-on fine dining, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the grab-and-go spots felt elevated. And if nightlife is your thing, you don't need to leave the property -- the energy here after dark is pure Miami. But if you're traveling with kids or just want a low-key night, the resort still feels comfortable and accessible. Fontainebleau nails that rare balance of iconic luxury and all-ages fun. It's bold, glamorous, and buzzing in all the right ways, yet still manages to be welcoming and easy to enjoy no matter who you're traveling with. A true Miami classic that continues to deliver. Enjoy

This is a tourist trap extraordinaire. It made me feel like I was paying to be in a place trying to extract from me, not serve me. And yes, I did complain twice to the front staff about these issues - to stony faces and lame excuses that were canned and code for "we don't care." The resort fee is $60/day (which is not made clear on Orbitz, where I booked it), yet when I went in February the pool and all outdoor facilities - which is what the resort fee pays for - closed at 6pm. We were told it closes at "sundown," even though they clearly have outdoor lights for the whole outside facility. Want to swim in the evening or night? Nope. All those pictures with the pool lit up? Not for you. And if you dare to be in the pool at 6:01, there were six staff for every one guest to tell you to get out. Seriously, we got warnings to get out at 10min to 6, 5min to 6, and at 6:00. Why every five minutes? Because a group of staff members were hovering over us, watching and waiting for the moment to kick us out. Very relaxing. You have to wear an armband everywhere you go. Staff are at every door as you go in or out - hotel to pool or pool to beach - monitoring you to produce it. Very relaxing. There is no coffee in the room, forcing you to travel across the whole huge facility (3 towers connected by long walks) to their coffee shop to pay $10 for a cup of coffee each morning. You could walk all the way back to your room, or - like me - you can try to drink it by the pool. But NO! You can't sit by the pool. Those seats and lounges require you to pay a fee, even in February when there was NO ONE there. If you don't want to pay, you can find a free lounge on the outer fringes. And if you try to sit without paying, there are staff to tell you to move immediately. Hovering, as usual. To get a lounge on the beach - in February, low season - we had to get in line to sign up for a chair and then get in a second line of 20-30 people and wait in the hot sun for an available, assigned chair and a staff person to take us there. Grab a chair and relax? Nope. It's a monitored system. When we checked out, the staff told us there were too many rooms to provide a coffee maker in each one. I guess their policy is to assume their guests are stupid.
