Cinnamon Bear Grill Lobster Ravioli
Michael D.

Had a lovley visit to the Cinnamon Bear Grill this weeked at the Hilton in Whistler. This is a reat restaurant in the lobby of the Hilton with a beautiful outdoor patio. The dining room is welcoming and upscale. Our server was helpful and friendly. The food was served hot and within a reasonalbe time. I ordered the lobster raviloi and it was totally delicious! I will definatley be back next time I'm in Whistler.

Hey! This place needs a new review because it's awesome and the food is awesome and we didn't eat here till the last day bc it had 3 stars and that was WRONG! First off they have a bunch of lovely hot drinks BUT you won't want to order them bc it's so flipping hot in there! So definitely shed your ski gear before you come! They have 2 pool tables that were always taken up by the locals while we were there, seems like where they hang out (we definitely saw the girl from our favorite pizza place lol) The poutine was amazing, the flatbread was too. We also had the s'mores crème brûlée and the Vietnamese lettuce wraps and the chicken fingers (none of which I can speak to bc I didn't try them but they were quickly shoveled into mouths so I believe they were tasty. Excellent espresso martinis, the blueberry tea Was fabulous, and the service is great! They get busy QUICKLY after 6 - but kids are allowed in there till 9. Do NOT be fooled by all these old reviews. It's great :)

Bar Oso is our favorite Bar Restaurant in Whistler. Never missed visiting here…read more What we tried this time: Beef Tartare - Tenderloin , Capers, Shallots, truffle dressing - Beef was so tender, I could definitely taste truffle dressing , beef, capers dressing flavor paired wonderfully. Very delicious dish. Organic Chicken Empanada - Pisto of vegetable, romesco sauce. - Dough was very flaky, filling had generous amount of chicken and vegetable. Very popular menu, I noticed a lot of customers ordered. Charcuterie board CAD59.00 - Highlight of dinner. The largest charcuterie board including cheese meat, pickles and pate. I forgot to write down the type of cheese and meats, eveything was delicious. Especially the level of saltiness was well balanced. Perfect. Pate was excellent, too. One of the best charcuterie I have ever had. Highly recommend. We also started with several beers and I had non alcohol drink - Espresito - Non Amaretto, noa amaro, houjicha tea and espresso cream. - This drink was one of the best non alcohol cocktail. Houjicha and non amaretto paired surprisingly so well and that espresso cream was so addictive. This item is also highly recommend. Overall, We really enjoyed visiting here again. Service was excellent.

Back to back superb nights! Wild Blue team, you provided BACK TO BACK exceptional nights. I…read moredidn't catch the names of all the people but once again, we got lucky and Laura from Ireland was our server and I would like to confirm "best server ever". Tonight we ordered the Hamachi Crudo, along with a couple of pounds of the freshest Dungeness Crab with Louie sauce, and we closed the night with Sticky Toffee Pudding. My amazing wife had never experienced this dessert so I talked her into it. I had an espresso as well. The hamachi crudo was tender and oh so fresh and kind of melting in our mouths. The crab was mind blowing fresh sweet prepared exceptionally, and I couldn't decide if I liked it just poached with no butter or Louie but both ways was so good! My wife's response to the sticky toffee was that she thanked me for insisting that we ordered it, and that when we come back to Whistler, Wild Blue is the first stop for killer food, and top of class service. Great place, amazing vice and ambiance. Just a fun experience!!!

The sourdough bread was excellent, the salad and soup of the day were both good, and dessert was excellent. I had planned to add scallops to my risotto based on the server's suggestion, but they were out of scallops, so I added prawns instead, which were very good. The only reason this is more of a 4.5-star experience for me is the noise level. The acoustics made the restaurant very, very loud, and we could hardly talk during our meal. I found myself eager to finish simply so we could get out of the noise. Everything else was wonderful, and I will click 5 stars because the food, presentation, and service absolutely deserve it. Sadly, I'm not likely to return because of the loud environment, but for guests who aren't bothered by noise, Wild Blue offers a truly lovely dining experience.

We came here for breakfast on our second day in Whistler, and my friend and I had a pleasant…read moreexperience overall! The back main dining area was incredibly loud, but luckily we snagged a spot near the bar, which was quieter. I appreciated that they informed us in advance about the 35-minute food wait time--it's always nice to have realistic expectations. I ordered the avocado toast and added smoked salmon. The smoked salmon portion was tiny--maybe 1 ounce--and it cost an extra $5 or $8, which felt overpriced. The salad that came with it was tasty and had a unique garlicky flavor, which I enjoyed. Their breakfast potatoes were also delicious! The avocado toast itself was just okay. Everything was served separately on the plate, which made it harder to eat and less flavorful compared to the crepe place in the village, where everything is layered on the toast. It might have been better if it came pre-assembled, given you're already using a fork and knife. At $30 CAD ($21 USD), the avocado toast felt a bit steep for what you get, but it was still a decent experience. Would recommend for the breakfast potatoes and ambiance if you can grab a quieter table!

We thought it was because of the tucked away location out of the main center, and decided to give this place a try considering its many reviews. Then we realized everyone else probably knew better. -Overpriced mediocre food $28-$35 for burgers and sandwiches that were small, dry, and bland. -Dirty, dusty, tables, and flies everywhere. -Bad service The overpriced mediocre food would have been acceptable considering its tourist location. We could have even excused the flies ...but then you add the bad service and understand that this place just sucks. Every time we needed something we had to hunt our server down-ketchup, water, a quick picture. The place was nearly empty. They didn't tell us the iced tea was sweetened. Most places mention this. No biggee. When we realize it is, we told them we didn't want sweetened iced tea and didn't touch it, but then our server gave awkward attitude when we asked (very politely) to have it removed from the bill. Is that not common sense? We asked for a box and after nearly 10 minutes went to check what happened...our server forgot. Maybe she didn't care to put in any effort because of the mandatory 20 percent tip charge for parties over 6 ppl. This would be fine if the service was near acceptable, or even if the service existed at all after dropping off our food. This place is a waste time, money, and your opportunity to try the businesses that actually deserve your patronage.

When you walk in you're promptly greeted by the hosts. We came mid week and tried their spring menu which was 4 courses for 33 before tax and tip. The server was prompt and attentive with a sincere, friendly demeanour. They were out of the tomato soup so we got the chowder and some chips and salsa (not pictured). Both were so delicious. The chips were ultra thick and reminded me of eating bugles as a kid, but way higher class. The salmon and chicken were way larger portions than we had expect , and done to perfection. Chicken is a little spicy but this is the type of service and cooking I liiiiive for! If you've ever had any other Earls scratch that out of your mind because when you come here, this is literally the place to be. Sticky toffee pudding also wonderful. It's not like a pudding more like a mini chocolate cake with toffee, vanilla ice cream and this almond florentine style cookie. Recommend to anyone even vegetarian / vegan as they have a plentiful plant based menu as well. This place is vibes for friends, dates, or a family dinner.
