These folks are just SOOOOO petty, and they've lost their five-star status with me for good. I tried this place through Uber Eats, and the first time was amazing. But after that, it's been consistently downhill. The second time, they added bananas to a cookie dough appetizer that was supposed to be banana-free. I can't stand bananas, so you can imagine how upset I was when I saw them on my "banana-free" dish. I made sure to complain about it. And it's not just that. Every time I order from them now, the quality seems to get worse and worse as if they're intentionally messing up my order. The serving size for the cookie dough shrunk from that of a tennis ball to a ping-pong ball on my second order. On my third and last order, the serving size was laughably small. I actually had to call the restaurant myself to tell them how unacceptable that was. And the way the customer service person brushed me off was equally appalling. I'm not usually a "Karen" type, but man, if you saw how small they put my serving, you would've call them too - because no one's paying nearly $20 for two ping-pong balls worth of cookie dough. Also, despite my complaint on my second order about them putting bananas on a dish that wasn't advertised to have it - they decided on my third order to load up my (BANANA-FREE) dish with BANANAS, AGAIN. It's like at this point, they're doing it on purpose just to spite you. So my advice? Go to another place if you can (because I've never seen a shop screw up peoples online orders this bad - I'd say there's like a 50% chance that you're gonna get what you ordered, excluding whether it will even be of quality)... Or... If you really love this place and their concept of cookie dough (like I did), the. be careful when ordering from them online. I heard of this place through social media, and decided to give it a try. This place is located in Crown Plaza next to La Madeleine. On the weekend this place gets quiet busy. I recommend for first timers to chose from their signature roll options. Keep an eye out for their signature rolls as well. I decided to order the Apple Pecan pie roll and Cookie Monster Roll. The first thing I noticed when I looked at their menu is the calorie count. If you are on a diet, I highly recommend sharing one pie roll because the rolls is big. The one thing I was most surprised about was that the Restaurant is vegan, and tbh I couldn't taste the difference between a Cinnabon's roll and a regular roll made with dairy. I felt like the casher was annoyed that I was taking a few minutes to decide & she kept asking am I ready (even though there was no line behind me).. so I chose the already made combos seen in the display. For 4 rolls, I spent almost 40 bucks! Whew! These are pretty expensive as each roll can cost around $8. Took about 20 minutes to get them - so be prepared to wait. After trying them they are a nice treat to have and beautifully decorated! A fun experience. I've been wanting to try this place since I heard about it! I always missed the opportunity when I was in Baltimore, so when I heard they were opening one closer, I was ecstatic! I originally wanted to go for their opening day, but because of COVID I was a bit skeptical. So I decided to go another day. I walked in and it smelled heavenly! I could just taste the cinnamon bun melting in my mouth. My and my friend didn't know which one to get, so we just opted for the Cookie Monster. And it was delicious! A couple bites in and I couldn't even believe this was vegan. Vegan icing, vegan chocolate, vegan everything! I would say for the price point it IS a bit expensive. I get my sweet tooth from my dad and he's a sucker for a tasty cinnamon roll so I thought that I'd surprise him with a few from Cinnaholic since this location opened up during Father's Day weekend. I arrived a few minutes after the downpour ended; it was still raining but wasn't nearly as bad as it was while I was driving on the highway. There was a decent line despite the poor weather. I was disappointed to see that social distancing was not enforced while waiting in line outside of the storefront. The employee manning the door came out with samples to pass to those waiting in line but I didn't take one. We're still in a pandemic and many hands have already touched that serving tray. However, the staff does enforce social distancing rules once you enter inside. There are several markers on the floor that separates people by a six feet distance; people who are ordering wait on the left and people who are picking up their order wait on the right. I got three cinnamon rolls with different frostings: vanilla, cream cheese, and coffee. We have plenty of fruit at home so I didn't order any toppings. It's $0.25 extra to choose a different frosting flavor (the default is vanilla) and an extra $0.50/topping. They have fruits, crumbles, etc. for you to choose from. I'm sure that they're all tasty but I was eager to grab my order and head out the door. I probably waited about an hour from the time that I stepped in line to when I received my order in hand. The wait time would've probably been a lot longer if the weather was great. Poppa Kim approves of these cinnamon rolls. I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon rolls overall but these definitely hit the spot. You get a mouthful of bold cinnamon flavor in each bite and the frostings all taste like their individual flavors. I would prefer for the cinnamon rolls to bake a little longer though. A visit to Cinnaholic is a trip to Yum Town. We are very strict vegetarians who do not eat egg. When my kiddo and I get the chance to order anything off of a menu, it's so exciting! We tried three different buns, the snickerdoodle and the brownie. The buns were takeaway (obvs). By the time they made it home, everything was gooey and melty. Now, I didn't mind this, but husband did. Kiddo thought it was heavenly and couldn't believe it was all vegan. I loved the brownie. It was soft, decadent and delicious. Don't let the line deceive you! I was in line probably behind about 10 people and it took over 45minutes to get my order. Each delicious cinnamon bun may take awhile. Although yummy I don't know if it's an hour wait worth! I tried the creme brûlée cinnamon bun with added Oreo on top, and my boyfriend ordered the s'mores (but somehow they heard apple pie). We didn't want to deal with the line and affecting people who have been waiting so we just took it. Maybe we should have eaten it while there but we took it home to eat. Even though it was no longer warm, I thought the cinnamon bun was still tasty, but the toppings were melted and cookie was no longer crunchy. I don't know what it was but I did not like the creme brûlée flavor. It just didn't taste right. The apple pie was tasty though! Even though it wasn't what we ordered. I am a surrogate that was having an embryo transfer at a clinic near Cinnaholic. There's a fun old wives' tale that you should eat a "sticky bun" before transfer to help the embryo stick. So we sought out a cafe with cinnamon buns. I was thrilled to find a fun specialty cinnamon bun cafe! Felt like a good sign! We arrived around 9 am, 2 other customers were there. The manager of the store came from around the counter and talked to us. He explained all of the toppings, flavors, combos, etc. He was so friendly, thorough, and kind. We ordered a regular cinnamon bun and a cookie dough. They were prepared quickly, fresh, warm, and delicious. We sat inside. Seating was cute and comfortable. We really enjoyed the whole experience. When I lived in The Bay Area, I loved the Berkeley location. But I don't know what it is with this location, but unfortunately it doesn't compare. I'm a simple gal. I appreciate my cinnamon buns with a light frosting and no toppings. I love the almond and lavender frosting. This location NEVER has the lavender. The cream cheese is also pretty good. But the actual cinnamon bun has been dry every single time. Disappointing. The service is good. And I love that it's vegan friendly. Cinnaholic is a great addition to Crown! When it first opened there was a line out the door, but that seems to have died down and I was able to get my order with little wait. The rolls are soft and the frosting is creamy and super sweet. We tried two of the special rolls- strawberry cheesecake and banana foster. We also got two with our own choice of toppings, one with creme brûlée frosting and pecans, and a chocolate one with brownie bits. The crowd favorite was strawberry cheesecake! I also really enjoyed the creme brûlée frosting. My least favorite was chocolate. For 4 rolls, it costed about $30 so around $7 per roll. That's pricy to me but not a problem as it's a treat. Now compared to Cinnabon... I still slightly prefer cinnabon! They are both super decadent but it didn't beat the classic to me. What Cinnaholic does have over cinnabon is the wide variety of different frosting flavors and toppings to choose from. It's definitely fun and unique to customize your own roll. Overall, Cinnaholic has lots of different toppings and good quality albeit pricey. The closest cinnabon is in Montgomery mall, so this can satisfy your craving if you're in the area. read more

I am not vegan and I was hesitant to ever visit this establishment given that I've had some pretty bad experiences with vegan food. However, I had a pregnant friend who was craving cinnamon rolls and this place was open and very close to where I live. The service here is wonderful, and I love that the rolls are made fresh to order. I bought the Old School for my friend and the Cookie Monster for myself, and I do have to say that the Cookie Monster is a bit too sweet and over-the-top but the actual base cinnamon roll was BEYOND amazing. I will definitely get the old school next time! As for the physical restaurant, it was overall very clean but I don't think the bathrooms are cleaned overnight because I was the first customer of the day to use it and it was not the best situation. read more

I don't remember the name. I replaced the walnuts with apples and wow, game changer. I will say that this is extremely sweet and I had to take a few breaks eating this. I'm craving it now that I'm writing this review. Just be prepared to pay $8 for a bun! As far as the safety precautions that are in place: There is someone at the door opening and closing for the customers and taking temperatures. Mine was way, way too sweet. I get these are cinnamon buns but BOY oh boy when I bit into one it was loaded with sugar and I could even taste the sugar bits when biting down (chewing on sugar). I tasted my friends and it wasn't nearly as sweet so not sure if they're very consistent. Honestly feeling a bit overloaded with all that sugar. I tried the chai frosting and it was a bit too sweet as well. If you have a serious sweet tooth this place might be good for you. I was hoping to get more cinnamon than bun, but it was rather doughy and the cinnamon flavor was sort of weak. I think I'll stick with either baking my own for now or looking elsewhere. I like the concept but mine was just way too sweet and also didn't get much toppings - like 5 or 6 blueberries at most.
