3.5 Mostly for the cookie that disappointed me. I'm a picky cookie gal. Like Very Very Very picky. So when I was in another location, I was not impressed. However, did you know you get a free cookie on your bday when you sign up? So each week, their menu changes, but their chocolate chip cookie stays on there. I was greeted and welcomed. Yay. Most locations don't. Il placed Mt ordered and picked up an order cuz a friend ordered me cookies too. It's basically $5 a cookie, more than what a cupcake costs. The calorie count is shocking!! I would have to do HIIT workouts and go vegan for a few days. They do have a loyalty program, and you earn crumbl points... I'm not a fan of Choco Chip. Sorry guys, but I grew up on Mrs. Fields, and hers is better. OR, if you have been to Summerhouse, they have a choco chip cookie with rice crispy treats on top. Here, the cookie is too soft and chewy. I wish it would be crispier. I have not had the others I got, I don't wanna go into a diabetic coma and ruin what's left of my lovely weekend. Unfortunately this will be my last time visiting this location and it's unfortunate as it's the closest location to me. Some of the workers here are friendly but one of the girls has given me attitude one too many times. They are stingy and never frost cookies as advertised. I have had to ask on numerous occasions to refrost my cookies. On one occasion, the girl was extremely condescending and over frosted the cookie. The cookie was drowning in frosting, but she thought she was being funny because I complained. I said nothing and let it slide because I didn't want a back and forth situation but the girl knew exactly what she was doing. Truthfully, a 3.5. Beautiful new Crumble Cookies, located in Kentland's Shopping Center. The service was great. I had called ahead and knew that there was a red velvet cookie on the menu. Or, so I thought...But, when I walked in, there wasn't one in the display case. Pay attention to red flags...the person who waited on me said that this cookie was last weeks cookie, but they still had some available. I asked him," Are they fresh?" And, he answered, "Yes." That little voice inside you, that says," Don't do it!" Pay attention to that voice. But, I was dead set on a red velvet cookie. So, I ordered it and paid for it. When, I got home, I tasted it and it was stale and dry. Now, when you are paying $5 for a single cookie, you want it to be good. So, I called back and talked to Brittany! She refunded my money. Huge, credit to her! Thank you! Lesson learned, Do Not Order Last Week's Cookie. Stick with the ones in the display case. I know pay attention to your gut instinct. I am giving this place 3 stars based on the service. Their tablet did not scan my credit card for apple pay, which I didn't care much about. I told a worker about it, so that he knows and can fix it for other customers to use. He took a good 2 minutes, then eventually told me to use a different machine. It irritated me a little bit, because his coworker was telling him that I should use the other machine. After placing my order, I asked them if my 4 cookies can be packed individually. I went up to the cashier to request that, and he said that it would be an extra charge. I never had this issue at other locations and it makes sense to not be charged for the cookies I paid already. I am not sure if they were lazy or cheap, but it felt icky for the price I already paid. read more

1.26.23 I've been wanting to try this franchise for a long time and finally stopped by this location today while I was nearby running an errand. I place my order of (chilled) French Silk Pie and a Milk Chocolate Chip through the app. Upon arrival, I clicked I'm here on the app. This location has two tablets for self orders and you can also place at the register. They also have a counter for pickup. Delivery is also available. Gift cards are available. They also sell ice cream and other items such as a cookie cutter, beverages (milk and water), and gift wrap. I thought the French Silk Pie cookie itself was slightly dry, but the mousse was perfect. I preferred the chocolate chip cookie over it, whereas my husband raved about the pie. He thought it was amazing. Had I known I would've saved the whole cookie for him. When I told him how many calories are in one cookie, he told me not to buy it again as much as he enjoyed it. Lol. I have a suspicion I would prefer the non-chilled cookies as I prefer room temperature pastries whereas my hubby prefers any pastries with icing such as cupcakes chilled. I know people think these cookies are huge, but for $4.98 for a single, I think they are pricy. I could easily eat two in one sitting, but I wouldn't as it would take a week to burn them off. I ordered 4 cookies with a ribbon and happy birthday sticker.. probably waited under 5 minutes and my order was ready! Front area/window ledges could use some cleaning. Wow, those are some serious delicious cookies! It's like eating cupcakes but much easier to cut up and enjoy. The cookies are quite large, and I cut them up in quarters so my fam can try each one. It's not cheap, but as I mentioned before, they are quite large. Now their menu varies from week to week which can be a good thing or bad. They will have a special cookie flavor that I really like and then when I go back the following week it's gone. Only the chocolate chip and pink frosted cookies are always available and then they have two or three that change from week to week. Now is it better then say Levian cookies in Bethesda? It's different. Levian are huge in thickness and weighs a ton and these more like flatten cupcake with some good frostings and flavor. read more

However, today's experience was particularly disappointing, and I feel compelled to address it. First, every time I walk into this location, I never hear any employees greeting customers. Second, I've observed workers talking around the cookies without any mouth coverings, which I find inappropriate, especially since customers can see the food being handled. Third, I always place my orders ahead of time to avoid waiting. Today, none of the workers seemed interested in helping customers or fulfilling orders. I had to catch their attention and ask for assistance. Several people who ordered on-site after I arrived were served first, while I had to wait about 10 minutes for my cookies. I believe that pickup orders should be prioritized since they are placed in advance. When I finally received my order and opened the box, I was disappointed by the poor presentation of the cookies. We got the cornbread, the cinnamon swirl, the pumpkin pie, and the New York caramel cheesecake all of which were pretty yummy. I think the pumpkin pie was the best. Like a cookie and a pie all wrapped into one. Very sweet though! I could only have a piece of one at a time so if you don't like very sweet things it may not be for you. Huge box, they had to be refrigerated, and pick window time is only 10-4 so for kid's morning party, you have to pick up day before and empty your fridge to store the monstrous large cookie box, as in it took up the entire shelf from wall to wall of our fridge.
