Looks cook Cinnabon but was uncooked and taste weird..

The list of improvements: Food Service Worker/cashier and attitude presentation: Hello I'm Letty that does food reviews every place I go. It is a hit or miss but no other place had treated me with disappointment like this one. Sadly you let me down this time Cinnabon I came here a couple days ago I always had snacks/drinks from Cinnabon from different places but never had it from universal so let's start with the food/snack I had order. (The main topic I had only ordered a Cinnabon roll) Food presentation : 10/10 looked good presentation wise, especially has a great sweet smell I love.. Food Taste : 2/10 Did not taste good as i remembered, taste undercooked even though it looked cook, they need to leave it in the oven longer, not sure if they changed the timer when to take it out but this one was not a good Cinnabon I had, unfortunately....... Service: 3/10 Always had decent services where ever I go but this one seemed like it was promising but unfortunately did not meet expectations.. The restaurant looked lovely and clean inside but unfortunately the service took long to deliver food over 17-20 minutes- there was not much customers there either so why did the person took long for delivery of food and as well undercook I am uncertain.. Worker/staff: 1/10 Now for my main topic of issue I had is the worker who was in charge of my order. Never met a young lady who had taken my order like Yadira I think I am spelling it right, she has long black hair with glasses she's kind of short, unsure if she's the main charge in line of being a cashier but with this worker who didn't only seem like she didn't care but had given attitude towards me and seemed like she has had giving attitude towards other people as well that had ordered before I did. I understand if she was having a tough day but she needs to take her attitude else where instead of taking it out at work. When I first started to talk about a certain item on the menu i wanted to know a difference between them and she had replied in a very rude/sarcastic manner she talked to me very slow and a specific way as if I was a kid and wanted to know if I understood it then or if I need more help with the item difference again but with more annoyance face she made and then she had asked if I can order now. When I was done ordering I wanted to know how long it would take for the item I had ordered would be done, but she said whenever the food would be ready. I had just asked this question because I wanted to go and use the bathroom that was nearby. She then looked at me disgusted and didn't want to be bothered after I was done talking to her. I've seen other people like women and a guy being active with work but the cashier lady name Yadira on the other hand was not being as passive and productive as the others. She kept being on her phone to text or whatever it was I feel like she doesn't want to work but to just get paid standing by doing nothing I understand food takes a minute from what was stated from her but being on your phone for a long time is different and giving unpleasant attitude to customers is another. I've seen others being friendly and active or at least try to be at work but unfortunately overall I just don't feel comfortable with the one specific worker who took my order, she just needs to either take a day off or just not work in a company like that put you infront of people. I never once gave her a reason or made her upset about ordering something or even given attitude towards her. I just kindly tried to talk to her and asked her a question about an item and the difference. Seemed like no matter if you are nice she was not going to give a nice attitude back. Total honesty of this rating I would have to give for just the food and cashier I had it is 1.5 star. I only give it just a 1.5 star only due to the uncooked food and customer service that was given to me I would put zero but unfortunately it's a 1-10 star ratings. Cinnabon please have the worker/cashier do better with customer service and better communication.. I want to keep the ratings 10/10 but this visit I had did not do great at all and it's unfortunate why. I'll give this place one more chance, I will come back in a couple weeks and then finalize my ratings but for now this one I will mark down as not a good Cinnabon location to go too. If she is like that the next time I go I'm sorry but I would need to talk to the manager with HR about this specific person it just seems like that's the only way they will understand what is going on and see that this job isn't right for her or just need better training, like I said before never have I ever met a rude person like her.

My adult daughter had never had a Cinnabon so we stopped in to have her try the mini. She loved it and will be trying more of it when we get home. This location was at Universal City and it was busy, clean and well stocked. It is a small location and staff were nice. Thx for a great tasting treat!!

Horrible service. My friends and I came here after a day at Universal Studios and it was rude service, dry Cinnabon, and sky high prices. $2 for a small thing of cream cheese, like really? My cinnabon is dry, and the least they could do is add more cream cheese frosting without having us pay for it. They barely, and I mean barely reheated this cinnabon.

Terrible cinnabon. Staffs are lazy and slow. The cinnamon roll was tough and dry on the outside. You can probably enjoy more once you get to the center. The sugar and fat probably makes this product ok. Waste of 8 bucks. There were 3 staffs who were working and looks like mostly just standing arounds. No napkins on the counter and we had to ask for them. We were like 6ft apart but they refused to make eye contact. No seats either. You'll have to stand around eating.

I love how they bake their cinnamon buns fresh everyday. I never have old still buns before. However, their frosting is just way too sweet for me. I always have use napkins to wipe off most of the frosting. But their buns is always warm & soft.

I've walked past Cinnabon a few times while visiting CityWalk and it always smells amazinggg. I was craving something sweet and finally decided to try the Caramel PecanBon and let me tell you it was BOMB! It was freshly made and still warm and ooeygooey when I bit into it and has layers of caramel, caramel frosting, and chopped pecans sprinkled on top that add the perfect crunch combined with the soft doughy cinnamon roll. It wasn't busy and the service was quick as I received it within 5 minutes of waiting. A little pricey, but honestly worth it for the size and quality.

Group before me was premade a special six pack and yeah I was refused to have a four pack made for me

CINNABONS ARE BURNT , Manager is rude , establishment is unclean. Zero stars if i could , but one star because the employee on the register and the employee boxing the Cinnabons while attempting to be helpful while manager roamed behind them doing nothing and whispering orders. I went in at 10:30pm ordered a four pack associate directed me to the last four pack in the corner by the door which looks stale and as if it was sitting there all day. I was informed by the employees that they are no longer selling four packs when I ask why the two employees looked at each other and they looked over at their manager Emily who then went to the back room. Associated in inform me I could buy four Cinnabons and he would charge me for the price of four which is almost $40 mind you , the pack of four is $22. I informed them how this was a huge inconvenience for me as I need four Cinnabons at the four pack price and did not understand why they were refusing to sell to me nor why the manager was not answering any questions as well. Ended up purchasing two Cinnamins. They were overcooked and not worth it. I have a year pass for universal and usually go to Ben & Jerry's or voodoo doughnuts. This will be the last time we come to this location as there are too many options around to receive horrible service and horrible desert. Manager (named Emily )of this location would do well from some personal development courses.

We ate here twice in 1 week because my girls love their fresh bread (especially from French bakeries). It's a very humble joint with solid breakfast selection. Super nice staff. The coffee bar is also top notch. This place is only 5 minutes from Universal Studios and parking was pretty easy. This is our go-to breakfast spot before hitting the theme park.

Near Barham and on the way to Hollywood. They have a few metered parking spots out front, but I went in and asked if they had their own parking and Mehdi told me they had a couple of spots in the alley behind the building, so that's where we parked. It's a cute place, not too fancy. They refer to it as a Boutique Pastry Shop. There are some snacks/knick knacks available for purchase, along with a refrigerator of drinks towards the back. The left side of the space is the coffee bar and the right side has the pastry cases and food menus. This is where we placed our order with Mehdi, who was pleasant, nice and knowledgeable about the menu and all the pastry items. I was talking to another employee, Gabriel, and asking him questions about the omelettes. He talked me through a few different options and he was also pleasant and kind. I decided on the Veggie Omelette (add mozzarella +$2, and side baguette +$1) with a Decaf Latte (+$0.75 for Oat Milk). My son ordered the Chicken Caprese Panini, which came with Pesto and Mozzarella Cheese. ($17). We also wanted to sample some pastries and we got 1 Nutella Beignet ($5.50), 1 Caribbean & 1 Red Carpet ($8 each), 1 Pear/Almond Tart and 1 Raspberry Tart ($6.50 each). Our total for everything including tip was $91.59, and I'm still kind of in shock over it! This place was SO EXPENSIVE!! Mehdi plated our pastries for us and Gabriel immediately got to work on the omelette and panini. We sat down at one of their many tables and got situated while we waited for the food. It was pretty empty as we were there around 3pm, an hour before they closed. There were two other tables being occupied while we were there. They had nice pop music playing, ranging from 90s-00s songs and artists. There were some nice twinkly lights above us along with the regular lighting of the restaurant. The space was also very clean, but I noticed some wear and tear on the tables/chairs. Once Mehdi brought our food out, we got to eating. My omelette also came with a small side salad with balsamic vinaigrette and some potatoes. I think everything tasted good, especially the omelette, but the potatoes were a bit too greasy for my taste. I also think the portion size was too small for the price. This statement goes for everything we ordered. It was all extremely overpriced for the portions they're offering. My son said his panini was just mediocre and bland. He opened it and added a bunch of salt to it. It was also very skimpy on the chicken, about 4-5 tiny slices inside. Moving onto the pastries, the Pear/Almond was my favorite. It wasn't overly sweet (actually, none of the pastries were), which is what I prefer. It was very delicate and tasty. I also had a bite of the Caribbean which was delicious. They went well with my latte, which tasted very good. I will be trying the rest later. My son had a bite of everything and liked the Caribbean and the Nutella Beignet, saying the rest were just average. I didn't use the restroom but my son did and said it was spotless clean, stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and room spray. The trash was empty, floors and counters were clean. They have one men's and one women's restroom and it's spacious. They began closing down the place about 5 minutes after we finished our bites and nibbling. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience by any means, but I don't think I'll be rushing here anytime soon to try it again. It was just outrageously expensive for what it was. I understand the cost of ingredients, labor, etc it takes to produce pastries and viennoiserie, but I just don't think the quality matched the prices. Just my opinion. I would say the service was great, both Gabriel and Mehdi are great employees! I may or may not come back. We'll see.

These are genuinely some of the prettiest desserts I've ever seen. The amount of detail on the outside is insane -- they literally look like real fruit. They're almost too pretty to eat. I tried the mango, raspberry, coffee (tiramisu), and pistachio and every single one was to die for. The inside of each cake matched the flavor perfectly and tasted just as beautiful as they looked. The mango was probably my favorite and I can see why it's their most popular. It had actual fresh mango pieces inside and was so fresh, creamy, and flavorful. The chocolate chip cookie with rice krispies "Summer Camp Chip" ($4.25) has delicious flavor and if you enjoy soft & chewy with a slight crisp, they hit all textural marks for excellence. This has become our absolute favorite snack to get here and I gots to have it every time I'm in. The chocolate pop tart is solid. We prefer the taste of this to the brownie cookie...we aren't big on that one. I had such high hopes because I love brownies and obvi love cookies, but alas, personal taste preference. The chocolate cake pudding ($4.25) is a rich and decadent treat that can be eaten right out of the wrapper it comes in! I was surprised I loved this chocolate cake soaked in chocolate custard with a few marshmallows and caramel on top. The Peanut Butter El Rollo is a tiny but cute little guy at $5.50. They make their own peanut buttercream for the inside filling and the chocolate is just wonderful. I like their bars One of my favorite things at Cake Monkey is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cakewich. This mini cakes are just $5.75 and individually wrapped so make for great little gifts to bring to a housewarming or event. Plus it's gluten-free and vegan so all our friends can enjoy it! Cakewiches for the win at Cake Monkey Bakery! I've only tried the Matcha Latte in the drink department here and was satisfied with it. I'd like to try some of their fizzy drinks but they were out of tonic water this morning. Next time! And there will definitely be another time with Cake Monkey Bakery! They just have SO MANY options here, it's easy to find multiple baked goods you can enjoy here. I'm a fan.

It was extremely last minute and I was trying to find anything I could while also getting my sisters cake of choice. I found Cake Monkey Bakery online and they seemed very promising. I called and asked if they were able to do a cake within 2 days and to my surprise they said possibly! They asked me to send an email or to come in with an inspiration picture to see what they could do and they exceeded my expectations! First off, the place was lovely with the neon signs and beautiful pastries displayed. I was greeted very nicely by Esmerelda and Nancy and told them my situation. They told me it's no worries and that they were able do the design of the cake with the exact color in no time! They asked a few questions and showed me similar cakes they have done in the past and they looked great. They said they'll keep me updated if anything happens during the process. Coming back 2 days later was a breeze. They called me the day before to tell me I can pick it the time I requested. Again with a warm welcome, they showed me what the cake looked like and I was more than happy, it looked just like the one my sister wanted. Service, cake and timing 10/10, my sister was even more happy with it. So again, thank you so much Cake Monkey Bakery and especially to Esmerelda and Nancy! I appreciate you guys!

I arrived early on a Saturday morning and treated myself to an assortment of their best recommendations: Dulce de leche ponchik, minced beef empanada, potato perashki, and a (cream) cheese roll. I waited ~10 minutes for everything to be made hot and fresh, burning the roof of my mouth in excitement -- and I'd do it again. Dulce de leche ponchik was the best caramel donut I could ever dream of. There's at least 2 generous tablespoons of molten lava deliciousness in one ponchik: it spilled over into the box! Potato perashki is how I burned my mouth: flavorful, salty, herbaceous. Beef empanada was fried to golden brown perfection, full of velvety minced beef with small pieces of potato (corned beef hash could never). The (cream) cheese roll was not too sweet, smooth and rich in flakey pastry. Don't sleep on the seasoning salt offered for savory items either: it puts Lawry's to shame. I happily devoured my box of reasonably priced treats on the small outdoor patio, curious to know if I had arrived later what else might've been on display in the bakery cases. Nice to see how clean, calm, and friendly the manager was with long-time customers picking up catering orders. Porto's has golden boxes; Papillon has bright turquoise ones. Parking is available in their adjoining lot though it gets crowded with nearby businesses easily.

Hands down, I think they have one of the best Honey Cakes with the fudge layer on top aka Birds Milk Cake. This is my third time trying the dessert, and it was unanimous that it is a must-get in the area. They honey cake layers are moist, you can't think of it as a normal fluffy cake, it's more on the dense side. The fudge layer has a nice, rich chocolate, and not overwhelmingly sweet taste that you want more of. The smaller size they have is an actual full small cake $25 that will feed 12-16 people. You don't need large servings of this dessert as it's very rich. Service is nice. Small parking lot. Thank you Papillon International Bakery!
