Honestly, this place is an extreme disappointment. We went for the whole Barbie experience and it was a total let down. The "luxury seats" they advertise was actually a complete disaster. As you see below the head part of the seat is crumbling off. It crumbled off onto our skin, and ruined the shirt my boyfriend was wearing. They also need floor repairs. We spent over 50 bucks for the whole experience, and was deeply dissatisfied. Wouldn't advise to go to this theatre! read more

Nice and clean. My wife and I had a good time here earlier this month. The theatre had good quality video and sound. For concessions they have your typical popcorn, soda, candy, but they also have some other cool stuff like alcoholic beverages, slushes, and some hot food options (pizza, chicken wings, chicken strips I think was all). The people running the concessions were very nice and attentive. The seats are comfy and recline. The weird part to me is that the seats make noise when you recline which I wouldn't' think you'd want in a movie theatre. Throughout the movie, you'd hear people adjusting their seats every now and then. read more

Yes me and my boyfriend went to the movies last night and a short chubby girl with blonde hair with picktails ignored me and kept hitting on my boyfriend and then told him come back and get some water and then with no disregard for me she gave him her phone number and kept talking to him which made me very uncomfortable and couldn't enjoy the movie experience. read more

Lots of fun, we went first thing on a Tuesday morning, which was the first showing at 12:30. We had a theater to ourselves. Ordered lunch before we sat down. Had Shiner with our lunch which was delivered to our seats with our lunches. The burgers were great, fries are wonderful and the pizza was tasty and hot. read more

I am very upset this Cinemark tainted my (and my!) wife's experience today while attending the 50th anniversary showing of Jaws at at 12:30 today, 8/21/25. When we arrived, I asked for "the largest popcorn and Sprite with light ice". I was give a bag of popcorn and a huge Sprite with light ice. Halfway through the film, we ran out of popcorn. I went to the concession to get a free refill, which I knew was offered if you ordered the largest popcorn. I put the empty bag on the counter and the young lady said, "I'm sorry, but we don't give free refills for that size." I asked why and she said it was a large and refills are only given when you order the X-large. I said..."When I came in, I specifically ordered the largest popcorn and Sprite with light ice." She just said, "Maybe the person thought you just wanted a large." Then there was about 10 seconds of silence, while I was waiting for the positive customer experience and "I"m sorry, here is some more popcorn anyway.". Nope it didn't happen. I had to walk away with no additional popcorn. Cinemark Sherman...educate your HS grads as to what the english term superlative means. It means the highest degree, the largEST. There is large, then largER, then largEST. Jaws is my wife's favorite movie of all time and this was to be a special occasion. I even purchased a first edition book online and a Cinemark Jaws 50th aniversary t-shirt for the occasion. You ruined it because you hired counter HS kids who don't understand english and teach them customer service. After I told them what happened, customer satisfaction should have kicked in to put that 50 cents of popcorn in my bag, along with an apology for their misunderstanding for what I ordered in the first place. What a clean place. Prices very reasonable. Never been to a movie theatre with leather recliners. Popcorn very good.

This is in a very convenient location around lots of places. The staff was friendly and the seats were comfy. The over all cleanliness was lacking a little, but all in all a good place to catch a movie. read more

We are accustomed to go into AMC Theatres. They've always been there they've always been enjoyable to visit, I rethink that after our most recent movie going experience at Cinemark and Sherman Texas. The theater is not as large and grand as the one we used to however one of the things we noticed was the cleanliness of the staff and the management. Everyone we came in contact with gave me the feeling that they get to come to work not have to come to work. You could tell the staff members wanted to be there and they really enjoyed their job. we were able to get seven tickets for around $55 we pay about 14 at AMC per person. popcorn and drink at AMC is 20 here it was only 13. The overall value of coming here was substantially greater than any other theatre I have ever been to read more

Second attemymt to take grand child during spring break. For How to train dragon..1st time seats sold out. Tuesday. I bought 2 tickets and 20.00 of food... then someone was in my seat. After they asked person to move but refused i demanded my money back on tickets. That person should have had to leave instead...it not only ruined my gchilds day but they should have gave me money back fir food as well....never going back there...sad read more

Wishing we had a cheaper place to see a movie, but seeing that this is the price of tickets these days... I can't complain too much. We had a smooth transaction to get out tickets. The smell of fresh butter popcorn made me crave for a bag. The price of popcorn made me keep walking. Well today was suppose to be Mother-Daughter Day, we planned on seeing one of my favorite S. King books on the big screen. But for some reason it wasn't. When purchasing tickets please bring flash card with the alphabet on them because their inept cashier can't distinguish between G 12-13 and will give you tickets for D 12-13. This is how the M-D day ended. I was so pissed showed up early to get tickets and then had to give up our seats to 2 people who showed up 15 mins into the movie. Please don't go to the Sherman Cinemark if you don't have flash cards. Damn public school education I see why everyone is leaning toward home schooling and private school. I will be taking my business to McKinney or even the District at Choctaw. read more

These days it seems to cost an arm and a leg just to go to the movie with someone. My son and I decided to head to the movies in order to spend some quality time together. Opted to see Bride Wars...I can honestly say I laughed multiple times watching this movie. I was pleased to see that they were sweeping and trying to maintain the front especially by the concession stand. Speaking of concessions...$8.50 for a small popcorn and a medium soda?? Oh well, I got to spend time with my baby love and see a good movie. I think that makes it money well spent! ;-) read more

About an abusive father who beats his wife and son the son grows up after the mother leaves looking for a way to come to terms with his fathers abuse. Realizes his father is going to die soon . They bury the hatchet and Bart the son remembers some of the conversations with his father as he writes the song and well as the notes he left in his child hood journal he used at summer camp containing the word Imagine which is in the title of the hit song. In real life he marries one of the girls he went to the camp with as a child. Price $8.00 Paid with Movie Pass This location has reclining seats which is superbly nice. That should pretty much be the standard for all theaters now days. Reserved seating lets you choose your seat as you purchase the ticket. Thats going to take some getting used to though still used to being able to walk and and sit anywhere. I normally always try the kiosk to pay. It worked fine for me on the first try. I don't go to theaters that don't accept Movie Pass most all do though welcome to 2018. We went a the Martian matinee 10/8/15. The entire theater was spotless!!! Love seeing this. But on the downside it was so very cold in the actual movie... keep up the cleanliness but turn the Ac to a tolerable level. read more

Prices are very high and the bathrooms are not very clean. Snacks are way to high. Like they have Tuesday night specials.

Worth driving 30 minutes to the Mckinney Cinemark. Really, the cost in fuel is made up by the ticket price. Sherman theatre has slow concessions personnel, the seats are more expensive, and you have to spend an extra $1.50 +tax per person to get decent seats by reserving them instead of just getting to the theatre early. read more
