I am in Longview visiting family, and was in desperate need to get my acrylic nails off that were becoming too long for my liking and I wanted to go back to my natural nails. The guy here took off the acrylic and gel without damaging my nails at all and I ended up getting Shellac nail french manicure which turned out just beautiful. Very impressed by this place! I am picky about where I go. I have been in the industry for almost 15 yrs and I know the bad rap that Asian salons have. Yet I still try them out! I have been to Cindy's twice. Once for a pedicure and once for a gel manicure. Both times I have been more than satisfied! The two people who worked on me both spoke English that I could understand. They did what I asked of them. I am very very upset with the quality, they are all bumpy, lifting (I got a fill 5 days ago) parts are thicker, it's just awful!! Drove an hour and 30 minutes to have my nails done from Brian himself. I showed him what I wanted for The Seahawks, and ended up telling him to work his magic. He did an AMAZING job, all free hand. I have to bring my friends with me next time so they can get their taste of Brian. I know they'll fall in love with him and his work. It's definitely worth the drive from Seaside, Oregon to have my nails done right, the first time. Thank you so much Brian for everything! I will be seeing you again in a couple weeks. I would give zero stars if it was an option! The girl who did my nails kept messing up left and right! I had to tell her multiple times that her light wasn't on when she went to dry my nails. She forgot to dry them and started painting a design on my wet nails which made a lovely smear across my nail. She got polish all up on my cuticles! When I went to pay she told me it was $70 I paid with $80 and she only gave me $5 back I had to ask for my change! Then, when I left, she was so busy trying to fix her fuck up on my smeared nail she forgot to top coat the rest of my nails. I left and had to come back for someone else to finish them! I was there almost 3 hours! I will NEVER go back and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! In fact, I recommend you AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! read more

I always go to Cindy's when I need a lunch time pedicure or full set of nails. They keep track of appointments and I've never had to wait long to receive a service. The last time I was in, I saw Brian for acrylics and he had them finished within an hour! Almond shaped nails can be a challenge for a nail tech novice, so I was pleasantly surprised at how swiftly he was able to shape each nail to my liking. I showed him a photo of how I wanted them painted, including some nail art, which he pulled off flawlessly! For $30 and 1 hour, this is one of the best deals in town, especially for someone who is accustomed to paying PDX manicure prices. When I'm in town, I'll always make time for Cindy's. read more

Even though three employees did not show up for work and three were caught in traffic, we were asked to pick our color and have a seat without panic. There was no rushing through our pedicure and mine was even above and beyond for the July 4th celebration. The staff was friendly and the pricing was fair. Sadly, I read the reviews on this site, and went to this nail shop today. We never even got to the nail application process, before I walked out. I just moved home from California and was looking for a reputable nail spot; this is NOT the place! No welcome upon entering, and when they finally did acknowledge me, and I told them I wanted a full set, I was told to pick a color; OK, easy enough. I then sat down to wait my turn. 15 minutes later two women walked in and were called before me. Now, I fully understand appointments, however, upon entering I should have been told that there were two appointments ahead of me. Instead, I get this woman telling me that it would be a bit longer, and did I mind waiting.. Heck yes, I minded; this should have been disclosed from the start.. horrible customer service; will not return. read more

Worst place ever! I went to get my hands hot waxed and massaged. My hands have bad pains and this normally helps. They had me sit there with the wax for an hour, cold not how towel over it, wiped if off and said u are done! Wtf. Most places it's like 5 mins in wax, with hot towel under lights, then wipe your hands down. Then wrap again in hot towel, lotion and massage. I even called ahead of time to make sure they did all these things! Bad service not worth the money loss. read more

Appointments do not matter at this establishment. I took my mom here to treat her to a manicure for Mother's Day yesterday and called ahead to ensure they had time. We arrived on time and they had us sit next to one another. A very kind lady started on my manicure, yet my mother sat there for 40 minutes with absolutely no communication as to when they were going to help her. This is the second time this has happened here. It happened two years ago, and we thought we'd try the establishment again thinking there's no way lightning could strike twice. We were wrong. The manager is extremely unprofessional. He offered no apology for the time wasted and didn't even look at my mom when she voiced her frustration. Lesson learned. read more

I had Deanne do a full set a few weeks ago. They were pretty good but she squeezed me in and so I feel like she hurried on them and was not a perfect job. This visit I had Brian and told him I wanted them very thin. They look very natural and are nice and he made a really cute Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer with snow just from looking at a picture on my phone. He is very artistic and talented and a lot of fun to talk with while getting my nails done. read more

Awful place, skip and go to another. First of all sanitation does not exist there. Watch a pedicure set go from seat to sink, rinsed off, then used again. (I'm pretty sure that's against the law too!) After I left and got home to actually look at the toes I noticed the little toe was only half painted with color. I thought maybe I just chipped them, looked closer... nope clear polish was on there no color! I started to look closer and they all were painted awful!! I'm not a perfectionist, but I mean areas were missed.... and they are toes!!! No message, no buffing, no creams. Very unprofessional to the point of rude. Our people acted like they hated their job, that place, and us. Second time here and both were less than pleasant. Only one star and that's being nice. Plenty of other places and I'll be trying them. THEE BEST nail salon in Longview! Friendly, welcoming and great nail technicians! I came in after being turned away for service at Downtown Nails on Commerce. When I walked in to Downtown nails I was immediately told "We can't help you!" I drove around and found Cindy's nails. Kimmy greeted me promptly and informed me there would be 5 minute wait. She apologized for the way I was treated at the other place, even though she had nothing to do with it. She was gentle and kind! Shaped and styled my nails to PERFECTION! I went to Cindy's Nails. At the door I was asked what I wanted and I said a Mani/Pedi the guy then asked me what color polish I wanted. As a man I politely declined opting for mu nails and cuticles cut and callouses removed. Simple enough. $40 later I have a short choppy cut finger nail overgrown cuticles, and satisfactory callous removal. Forget a hand or leg massage of any mention (not a biggie). Id expect the finger nails cut, edges filed and cuticles pushed back for $40. They weren't. When I went back to complain, they acted like nobody spoke English. How convenient. It seems to be the trend in this town that no one seems to want to "pinch a C curve" in their nails..... I cant understand why... It makes them stronger and it makes the nail slimmer and gives a more attractive result..... Im sorry but in most of these pics the nails look wide and flat, much like little shovels.... Why skip the C curve? Its not a hard thing to do...... read more
