This salon used to be one of the best in town. It's just gone down hill and fast the last few years. It just seems like none of the techs really care to be there or do a decent job. They are rough and don't listen to what the customer wants. I have went back hoping to get a good set of nails like I used to get from here and was highly disappointed. My nails are flat with no shape to them, a set of press ons would look better. The acrylic is down over my cuticles causing pain and lifting. The nails are already lifting from the nail at the top also. (It's been a day)It's honestly a waste of $50 I will not be returning. read more

I made an impulse decision to have my nails done for Super Bowl XLIX, and after reading other reviews of Cindy's, I decided to try it out. Brian was incredibly friendly, fast, and he is an amazing nail technician. He does all artwork free-handed. No stencils, no do-overs. Amazing! I had him combine 2 styles and he was not only precise, but made sure I was happy with it before I left. I usually avoid acrylic due to the fumes and how thick they are and how easily they yellow. No one was wearing masks, and he used solar acrylic and have my nails a top coat of clear gel polish for even more endurance and shine. My nail beds are tender, but that has always been the case when I have tips put on overt natural nails-it will go away in a day or 2. I definitely plan to keep going to Cindy's! read more

I'm going to go ahead and give a four star out of five, just because I believe they are the best in town, but not the best I've ever had. I'm really into having a lot of designs on my nails, they for sure need more practice on that, but given the circumstances that we are in a very small and boring town and I know that not all lady's are in to having long exaggerated nails. My sisters and I went to get our nails done, two full sets and a mani pedi. There was one other person waiting with us and all the techs were full. When we walked in we were not greeted, instead asked "what do you want" when we told them they didn't tell us a wait time or even acknowledge our reply. We waited about 45 minutes and called another salon to see if we could find somewhere that wasn't so busy. When my sister got on the phone they hurried to get us in chairs. During the nail process one of the techs tried to argue with my sister because she didn't realize how short her nails were going to be, the tech told her they weren't short and told my sister flat out that she was wrong? Which was rude as hell. Then my sister decided the color she wanted on the nails wasn't going to look good with shorter nails, the tech was noticeably frustrated and rushed her to pick another color. She asked for a soft pink selection to see, instead the tech brought one color and rushed painting them on to avoid having to redo them. Somehow he painted her nails thick enough her nails no longer had that sharp coffin look and ended up round on the tips? I'm assuming because he really slapped it on. Overall my sister was disappointed with her nails but did like how they were so smooth on top. My younger sister got a mani pedi. Overall what she wanted was VERY simple just white toes and white finger nails, but the tech didn't talk to her at all or ask her what she wanted except when she was trying to push her up-sale of gel polish on her toes and fingers. I had to go over and tell the tech ONLY gel on her fingers. The tech complied but then didn't ask my sister if she wanted French tips on her toes, which she didn't then the tech added $5 for the French tips. My sister asked her why she did French tips after she completed them and was ignored. She left frustrated with her toes but loved her manicure. Now for me! I was moved back to wait because someone else came in with an appointment, so I waited about 15 minutes on top of our initial wait time. Anyway! I asked for an acrylic full set with PINK powder and clear topcoat on top. The shape turned out beautiful but the color is more of a mauve brown instead of pink? I even SHOWED the tech a photo of exactly what I was looking for and she said she could do it but didn't. The shape makes up for the color though. During the application of the nails, the text sanded around my nail bed on my actual skin which burned like hell and cut my fingers up. I was actually wincing in pain and the tech ignored everything and kept going even when I complained about the burning. Now for the fun! At the end of the transaction when my sister went to pay they told us about the additional $5 for my younger sisters French tips, when they were corrected on my sister not wanting them like that they didn't offer to fix them or apologize. They just knocked the $5 off. You could tell the guy was annoyed because when he inserted the card he didn't tell my sister to put her pin in or anything and just stood there(their card reader is behind their work stations) he waited maybe 30 seconds then started waving his arms around saying "HELLLLLOOOO?" In a snarky tone. We left immediately after paying and the first thing discussed was the GOD AWFUL customer service. No friendly greeting, arguing with the customer, trying to up-sell a 14 year old, the wait time then MORE waiting, then the attitude when paying. There is a reason I drive to Vancouver to get my nails done and this just served as a reminder... The only reason they are getting two stars is the establishment itself is clean inside, you can see the sanitizing machines so you know they have clean equipment and somethings ended up okay? read more

My first time there- I wasn't really impressed. The employees were pretty cold & the gentleman that did my nails snipped me pretty badly- I kept bleeding so he applied a blood stopping ointment then sprayed the cut with alcohol- OUCH! He didn't seem to really care that the cut hurt & the alcohol really stung! He then had me wash my hands & when I came back he started applying nail glue to the open bleeding cut w/out my permission! I am pretty sure you shouldn't apply nail glue to an open cut- even if it helps stop the bleeding :/ My shellac manicure is fine- I don't love the shape, but the manicure is okay for $25. I moved here about a year ago and finally found Cindy's. I went in for acrylics and a pedicure and left very happy. The owner did the acrylics and One did my pedicure. I will request One again when I go back. I was just in for a pedicure at 10 am Sunday. My toes turned out beautiful! However the girl was so rude to me. After she asked me a question about my nails, I didn't hear her at first, and then I misunderstood what she was asking me. I apologized. I waited all week for this pedicure, everyone is going through things and I understand that, I still tipped her and I thanked her a couple times. She snapped at me, and was super rough/lazy. I wasn't offered the packages I usually am. I could tell she was having a rough morning. But it made me sad how I was treated I work 40 plus hours a week standing on the concrete all day, pedicures are the one thing I do for myself. I just want her to know the way she is coming across is not friendly or inviting. I have always had a great experience here! I got the glitter waterfall or glitter gradient shellac nails and I absolutely love the way they look!! They're perfect for weddings or any special occasions. I just went there for the first time today, and will definitely be returning. The staff is friendly, the prices are great, and they did a great job on my pedicure. More importantly they did a great job on my grandma's pedicure. She's 93 with Alzheimers and has to use a wheel chair when we go out, getting her pedicure is typically pretty difficult. Thankfully, the salon is nice and open and we were able maneuver her wheelchair and get her into a pedicure chair easily, and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating to her. My friend took me here for my birthday to get my nails done. I chose to get pink and white acrylics with an ombre effect. The woman at the front doing my nails kept answering the phone and taking to people in the front, so she would take breaks from doing my nails or try to multitask. It was a little annoying because I felt like she wasn't being fully attentive to my nails. About a week later the nails started to lift and crack. She charged $45. Definitely not worth it even though I didn't have to pay for it. I went to USA Nails for a fill, and was charged $25 with much better quality work. I would not recommend Cindy's Nails. Try another place that will pay more attention, apply quality work, and give you a better deal. read more

This was the most painful pedicure I have ever had. When trimming my cuticles, he cut good skin on every toe and several bled. He put a callous remover that burned the bottom of my feet and now they are so tender I can barely walk on them. I told him they were burning so he wiped off the stuff but then proceeded to use callous scraper (like a cheese grater) on them. I pulled my feet back and saying ow. He tried again, I said no! Then he wiped off my toenails with acetone with dripped down onto my already tender feet. What should have been a relaxing experience was painful. I will NOT come back here. read more

They're beautiful and the man who did them was nice, but the reason I'm giving 3 and not 5 is because he didn't really ask me what I wanted, I wanted matte nails and these are obviously not matte. He didn't ask me what shape I wanted them to be he just cut them into this shape, now it is beautiful, but I really wanted them matte and not this shape. Is there a rate lower than one star? Do NOT go here. I looked up nail salons for my elderly mother and I to get mani/pedis. With the limited selection in this small town I found this establishment. First, they rushed my mother and me to sit down to begin the manicure portion, but then they wanted her to move to pedicure chair before completing the manicure. I had to stop my manicure to assist her walking to the pedicure chair. They did not want to assist her at all. As soon as I turned around to continue my manicure, another patron was already sitting in my place, with my handbag right there, next to this unknown Individual !!!! They didn't even bring my bag over to me with my half melted off gel finger nails!!! I was then scuffled into the pedicure chair and waited for another 15 minutes to get any restart of service. They then plopped a soaking bowl of acetone in my lap to soak my fingers in while one of the employees began the pedicure process. Fumes were in my face and acetone spilled in my crotch as she aggressively moved my feet around. So as I am sitting there with wet acetone crotch I was completely stressed out watching over my elderly mother flinching as they cut back her nails and cuticles. They also simultaneously worked on my and my mothers fingernails while doing the pedicure. This was awkward for us, as the employees refused to switch sides and this required our arms to be stretched a crossed our bodies. Most uncomfortable for this Wounded Warrior and my elderly arthritic mother. Moreover, when we went into the separate room for our eyebrow wax, they had my mother ambulate with the toe spreaders in, slick lotion our feet, and walking barefoot on the disgustingly dirty floor! By the way the gentleman employee that works there was barefoot the entire time and watch videos on his cell phone at an extremely high level. Not relaxing at all!!!! I was under more stress just being there and hoping to survive. I was so afraid my mom was going to fall. Once we arrived to the wax room, the blanket was creased and wrinkled from the previous client-obviously not changed and the white towel at the bottom was covered in tracked dirt. Yuck!!!! We were then left to our own devices to gather our bags, hold our shoes, mom walking with her cane, nearly ice skating across the floor; thank God for the dirt for some semblance of traction. We eventually did independently find our way back across the shop to dry our toenails, figure out how to turn on the lights and fans, and find a damn towel to wipe off the black scuz off our feet!!!I realize I am from a big city, but the practice in this salon needs some scrutiny by the Washington State Department of Health, American Disability Association, and someone with a God damn conscience!!! All this fine service cost 133 bucks!! Un-real!!!! By the way ONE day later, thumb nail has already pealed off! read more

I used to love going here but my last experience was horrid. The person doing my pedicure was horrible. Way to rough on my cuticles and the leg/foot massage was bad. Took a lot longer on paining my toes than I'd ever had. I got a full set and kept telling the person the nails were too long. They replied 'it's ok, I'll file them down'. The person never did and I was busy that day so I couldn't wait to have them fixed because it was for my wedding.
