I was not acknowledged and only told she called me and I didn't answer making it my fault. I was at work so I didn't answer. I was hollered at that I no showed and she gave me no solution. She did not even ask kindly if I would pay the fee which I would have from the start if I knew. I felt completely attacked because she went in circles of how I didn't pay. I barely said a few words to her the entire interaction. I work in the aesthetic industry and the normal response would have been that I see you didn't pay for your no show and come to an understanding as I did notify her, but she said I didn't. She has tens of appointments daily that I can see and told me one person needed my specific appointment... This could have been waived as I've never seen her. I left with my mouth dropped with how she reacted to me being there. I understand your system, but I didn't understand your behavior. I had tried calling over 5 times over the last few months to schedule and was never called back after leaving messages and your website/scheduling system was not set up to allow to make appointment requests prior to a month ago and then I'm hollered at because I missed an appointment. I am esthetician myself and appreciate the business but don't appreciate this customer service.

She checked my temperature, had sanitizer available, air purifiers going, and wore a mask (as did I) the entire time. She made me feel right at home and honestly made the entire process seamless. We had a nice conversation throughout, she told me how she has over 27 years in the business and asked me about myself. You know when people ask you about yourself, but they don't really care to hear the answer, they think they are just polite with asking? Well, this was not that. Kim was genuinely interested in what I said which made me feel like I knew her, and already liked her! She gave me a lot of tips/tools for making my skin healthier based on what she could see from our time together and was nice enough to shed some light on what facials are and what I would expect if I ever decided to have my very 1st facial! Kim also does ear piercings which is great to know (I have over 10 piercings myself) so this place was so right for me. She also sells products which I saw when I walked in, but she was not trying to sell them to me like some places do as soon as you walk in the door. I've had many services here, including the hammam spa treatment, facials, and body wraps. Everything has been fine except for the facials. Regarding the facials: I've had problem skin that I was managing OK by myself, but I wanted better skin in preparation for my wedding. Mahin told me that the products I was using were too harsh on my skin and that if I got facials with her and used the products she recommended, my skin would become awesome. She mentioned previous clients whose skin she has turned around because these clients followed Mahin's regimen. Well, I was curious so I decided to try it. She seemed so nice and so genuine, so convinced she could help my skin. After 4-5 months of facials twice a month & following her skincare product regimen carefully, my face was worse than it started out. Acne, scarring, etc. By then, it was 2 months before the wedding... that's when I finally quit Mahin. Too late, though -- with all that acne and scarring, I needed a really thick spackle-job of makeup to cover it all up on the wedding day. So, fair warning. Maybe Mahin's expensive facials-and-products regimen works for some people, but it certainly didn't work for me after months of trying it and a lot of money down the drain.

A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox! The results are wonderful and she always reminds me of how to care for it (for example, no exercise that raises my heart beat for 24 hours). Dr G is also wonderful with patients.
