Dr. Cindy Bressler is one of the kindest most caring veterinarians. I don't know what I would do without her, especially because I have super seniors and my 14 yr.old Doxie absolutely refuses to go in the car ever- So her home visits really put my mind at ease and completely eliminate the stress for all of my dogs Especially Oscar Meyer(My Doxie) I highly recommend Dr. Cindy Bressler! read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Cindy! We had a late night emergency and was able to see our Vizsla within minutes in the Hamptons. She was so kind, gentle, sweet and highly knowledgeable vet. She had all the tools at her disposal to help him and sent us home with the needed medication. She made us feel calm while we were very nervous about condition of our dog. We were so grateful to have her in the Hamptons. Amazing!!!! 100% recommend. read more

I'm a new puppy mom. I was looking for a dr who does house appointments because I'm quite lazy. I contacted Dr. Bressler, and left her a voicemail. She returned my call quickly, but said she wasn't in NYC at this time. However what I appreciated was how she took the time to call me back and even give references to other reputable at home vet services in my area! She could've easily ignored my voicemail, but she was so kind and willing to help me. read more

When I was first living in NY, my older cat stopped eating, started hiding, and I got worried. My cat hated traveling and I was concerned that bringing her to a vet would make her more upset and sick. An employee at my local pet food store recommended Dr. Bressler to me, and she's been helping me ever since. Thanks to Cindy, my cat enjoyed five more years of a happy and healthy life as a spoiled NYC housecat. Cindy is logical and trustworthy, and she's available to schedule visits on a tight turnaround and at non-business hours. She understood well that we wanted to help our cat have as much good time with us as we could get, but didn't want to put her through painful procedures at the end that were unlikely to help her quality of life. I trust her entirely, and thank her profoundly for taking such good care of Marsha (and me). read more

Can't say enough good things about Cindy. Responsive, professional, caring, empathetic. She treated our cat through several ups and downs and saw her through to the end. Towards the end, she called and texted with us (from her vacation) and stayed on top of the hospital to make sure they were taking good care of our pet. Highly recommended. read more

Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Impossible to reach by phone and doesn't answer e-mails. She saw my dog and gave no follow up, gave up trying to reach her as she does not respond. What kind of a vet takes your money to see your pet and then doesn't respond to you afterwards. I called and e-mailed multiple times with absolutely no response. read more

We called Dr. Cindy Bressler last night (Sunday) at 6:30pm. Our cats (Poos 9yrs old) anal sac had developed an abscess, and was about to burst. We called Dr. Breassler and left a message. Within 2 mins we had received a text back. A Pleasant and concerned veterinarian started asking questions and wanted to see video of the cats abscess. She walked us though our options and was super caring. We never even discussed compensation. We ended up going to a walk in ER for the procedure. Our follow up visits will be with Dr. Cindy in the days to come. WE JUST FOUND OUR NEW VET. Thanks Jeff, Ana and poos (the cat) read more

I cannot say enough about Dr. Bressler! Where do I start? Our cat Danger started scratching the top of his head about 3 weeks ago. What appeared at first as a few scratches turned into him scratching until his hair was gone on the top of his head! He looked like like a little peanut! I called Dr. Bressler at 7pm on a Friday night after getting her number from a neighbor. She answered her phone, was super friendly, attentive to everything I was telling her. I sent her some photos of his head. She immediately came out to my building within 30 mins.. She and her assistant took their time and examined him. She discovered he had an ear infection and was able to conveniently prescribe an ointment for his ear. One word.. AMAZING Thank you to Dr. Bressler and her staff. We are clients for life! read more

I've known Dr Bressler for almost twenty years from our early days at the Animal Medical Center. Being one of her techs & also a pet mom Dr Bressler goes above & beyond as a veterinarian. I've seen first hand her dedication & love for all her furry family members. Whatever your needs may be; routine vaccines or that 2am emergency she's the one to call. Her clients rave about her.... and so will you. read more

It's possible Ms Bressler has matured since my encounters with her some years ago, judging by the reviews, and indeed I hope so.

Dr. Bressler is the most caring and compassionate vet we have ever had for our Doxie. She was recommended by a trusted friend, and boy am I grateful! When we first contacted Dr. Bressler, we knew we were in good hands (paws hehe) just by her phone manner. We could tell right away that this is a human being with a huge heart and compassion for both animals and people. She helped our dog with a skin condition, and any other issues that he has had. She always calls to check in and see how he is doing. Then, she gives us great advice and was out savior when he had a back issue. She ran right over to our house and recommended these supplements and a ramp which saved him! It was so incredible that she was able to provide service in our home. We love her and highly recommend to anyone with a beloved pet! read more

Nowadays is hard to trust any vet. But believe it or not Dr.Bressler is an Amazing vet! I can't even describe how relieved I am. Now I can sleep without having to worry about my kittie. I haven't met Dr.Bressler in person but you can feel a good vibe from her just by talking on the phone with her. She asked for a video of my cat to see how she was doing. Just with a video she was able to explain to me what I should do next. She's an animal angel. I'm very thankful of her advice and her time. I definitely recommend her. She's an amazing person and a great vet. Also she's available 24/7 what else can you ask? :) read more

I've used Cindy in the past with no problems but January 2017, her phone number has been disconnected, and while she sent me one email, she is otherwise unreachable and I have been unable to make an appointment for her to come and see my cat. So it looks like Cindy is out of the vet business but not bothering to tell people. read more

I was introduced to Dr. Bressler by our dog walker, Marily S. (also 5 stars!), when he strained a muscle, and now Dr. Bressler is seeing him through a broken toe. Dr. Bressler's service, and that of her team, is consistently prompt, professional, caring, gentle, and thorough. I am extremely happy and satisfied with her service and judgment, and highly recommend Dr. Bressler. read more

First and foremost, Dr. Cindy Bressler is totally awesome, responsive, knowledgeable and caring. A few Thursdays ago, I came home and I realized my kitty's tongue sticking out of her mouth, which alarmed me. I didn't know what exactly had happened as she was fine earlier that morning. Anyhow as most people do these days, I decided to Google the symptom and saw the overarching theme was that I needed to take her to a vet ASAP. Though I booked an appointment with the local vet for the next morning, I could not wait until the AM as I was extremely concerned about my cat, so I went on Yelp and came across Dr. Bressler's profile. I called and left a VM and she responded within an hour via text, which was fine with me. She was with another client and she said she would come by as soon as she was done. She came to my house and was able to diagnose what was wrong with my cat instantly (abscessed teeth/inflamed gums) and she administered some meds and took her blood for testing to make sure there were no other issues. With the immediate care necessary for my cat, Dr. Bressler was able to get me a last minute appointment with Dr. Carmichael of Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island. Though it was a long trip out to the island, it was well worth it, as the facility was very nice and the staff were truly friendly, caring and professional. I definitely recommend Dr. Bressler for any immediate/emergency house calls for your little furry friend. My cat is 100% now!!! read more

Dr. Bressler is wonderful! I was concerned about some marks on my male kitty's belly and had made an appointment with our regular vet in Astoria, but my cat HATES going to the vet and I didn't want to traumatize him unnecessarily. I started searching for vet's who do house calls and came across Cindy. She was unable to come out that evening, and since Ringo's appointment was scheduled for the next morning, she took time to work with me over the phone, through video and photographs. Turns out those little bumps are nipples! Duh. Anyway, Cindy set my mind at ease, was a complete professional, and saved my cat a traumatic visit to the vet. I totally recommend her- she calmed me down when I was in a bit of a panic. read more

Dr. Bressler is extraordinary! The personal and professional care, and the attention to both us and our beloved Cooper was remarkable. When our 13 year old chocolate lab was diagnosed with metastatic cancer after emergency surgery, we were obviously devastated. We wanted to bring him home from the hospital as soon as possible to give him the love and attention he could only get there. The question was, how do we provide the serious healthcare he would need to make him comfortable and to give him a fighting chance with the pneumonia he developed in addition to the post-op recovery and cancer. After speaking to several house-call vets, we were connected to Dr Bressler. We knew immediately she was the one and boy, were we right! She helped us set up home hospitalization in our living room! With her help, we got an oxygen machine, set up IV fluids and even did two blood transfusions right in our home. Coop never had to go through the stress and potential health issues of returning to the hospital or even the vets office. Dr. Bressler spent hours at Coop's bedside, along with her very professional nurses, often very late at night or very early in the morning. In addition, she was available 24/7 via, phone, text and email. We frequently sent photos and videos when we were concerned and if she wasn't able to accurately diagnose remotely, she came over ASAP. She answered all our crazy questions patiently and thoughtfully and took exceptional care of our dear boy. She spent much of her time on the floor with him talking to him, petting him, kissing him and reassuring us. Her bedside manner is unbelievable. Cooper was never stressed when she was around or was working on him. When it became apparent that we were no longer going to be able to keep him comfortable and there was no chance of an improvement in his quality of life, Dr. Bressler was there immediately to euthanize him humanely and painlessly. We let him go at home, in his own bed, surrounded by those who loved him, and I include Dr Bressler in that category. She is an extraordinary vet and a compassionate caregiver who will give both you and your non-human companions the absolute best care you could hope for. read more

Dr. Bressler is wonderful! It was so nice to have our cat in the comfort of our own home when he was examined. Dr. Bressler and her assistant were very caring and compassionate and we will definitely use her in the future! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Bressler. She had never seen our cat before, as we live in the city, but on a short notice referral from our regular vet, Dr. Bressler came to see us in East Hampton, to euthanize our terminally ill kitty. Dr. Bressler was professional, kind, empathetic, and let us take as much time as we needed. We couldn't have hoped for a better vet. Thank you Dr. Bressler read more

Saved Our Dog's Life - Thank god for Dr. Cindy Bressler! Our dog was overfed at a party and got bloat. Those of you with large dog breeds know how serious this condition is and that if proper care is not administered within an hour or two, the dog will die. We were beside ourselves. It was terrifying. We called the nearest vet and they were closed (it was late at night.) The recording on the answering machine had her number for emergency care and we dialed it right away. Dr. Bressler RUSHED over. She stabilized our dog, making it possible for him to survive the hour-long trip to the nearest Pet ER, where he had emergency surgery and survived. She was also very good at keeping us calm so that we could comfort our pup on the ride to the ER. We now use her house call service whenever our dog is feeling poopy. He loves her. Her dog-bedside manner is excellent; she is gentle and knows how to make him feel relaxed and at ease when she's doing her checkup. When she visits, she always takes the time to answer all my questions and explain everything. She is also happy to text with me, which I really appreciate, whenever I have a quick question about the dog. I definitely recommend Dr. Bressler after all, our dog would have gone to doggy heaven way ahead of his time if it wasn't for her swift action in that crisis. She is just lovely. read more
