Imagine my surprise when everyone in there was super friendly and acted like they see grandmothers in there every day! Usually I go in to this store and get 5 star treatment!! They usually show me what's new and let me try on everything!! Well today there was a (Karen) let's just call her Karen for the sake of the story! She followed me and my friend around the store - Wouldn't let us try anything on- Kept asking if we needed help after telling her twice we were just shopping- I asked her if she was new because she didn't know me- I come in once a month usually no problems but this bitch with an attitude kept coming at me- Idk her name but she had short hair and made it her mission to insult me and my friend so I will never return!! Also by the selection they had, they won't make it much longer; nothing new; nothing was "omg I have to have it-" The selection looked like step ford wives and nothing kinky or new!!! We had a very disappointing experience here. Ive been here before and came here a second time to originally buy one product, but the girl at the front desk notified me that all costumes were 50% off. When I went to check out with 4 costumes a employee came in and the front desk girl checked with them before she applied the discount and they said that all costumes were 50% off except the $20 costumes. No apology or sincerity from the girl who told us this. They lost our $60 purchase for a $14 purchase. The lady up front was nice but the girl who came in and told us different (maybe the manager) was very rude and insincere. If your costumes are 50% off make sure you say 50% off costumes that are more than $20. They lost our business. read more

The best customer service, a skinny white girl with black hair, she was really helpful. I forgot her name, I probably took 40 minutes - 1 hour in the store and she spent that entire time helping me out in the store looking for a birthday gift for my friend. She was not rushing, she did not looked bored or bothered, she looked like she was enjoying helping me by her attitude and manners. She even recommended some things to me since I had no idea what I was looking at, she was not judging the items I was picking and she was really nice when it came to opening up about products she liked as well. That's not it, The computer was having trouble accepting the Apple Pay and she gladly cancelled the whole order and scanned everything again like 3-4 times and she did not look bothered or frustrated. Once the Apple Pay went thru, she put all my stuff carefully in the bag, *carefully* which is important and she handed me the bag. Bought a toy as a gift. The saleswoman put a battery into the unit to test it and unknowingly broke a solder connection deep inside the unit as she struggled to get the cap on after numerous attempts, so when I got it home and went to put a battery into the unit myself, it was already broken since the saleswoman broken it initially. I tried to take it back and they wouldn't accept it calling it a "biohazard" and told me to send it back to the manufacturer. The manufacturer's website doesn't work so I'm stuck with an unused broken $55 unit that the saleswoman broke in her testing. Will never go into this shop again. They should have accepted responsibility and just given me a new one and threw the unused broken unit away. Bad management and bad policy. Never again....... read more

I work for one of the fortune 50 companies in the usa. we are major sponsors for one of houston's largest events ( Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo). I had to host several clients on opening night and needed an outfit to fit the western theme.I visited cindies on katy freeway to find a corset top to go with the luchese boots that I also purchased for this event. the staff was very helpful with finding what I needed, but i notice the quality of the products seemed very cheap. We managed to find a corset that was of the best quality they had and the latch was broken. We found one that was the exact same and the latch was not broken. as soon as i got home and put the corset on. The latch sure enough broke on that one too. I was unable to wear the corset for my event and had to find something else at the last minute. I have attempted 6 times to speak with a manager who could make this situation right. It ruined my evening from the start. I was patient and called 2 stores to express my concerne and to obtain a refund for a malfunctioned product. The GENERAL MANAGER promised to call me back the same day. Needless to say it has been 6 days and the return policy is 14 days. I even made a trip to the store to return and was told to take the corset back home with the receipt and someone would call me. The products in this store are apparently very cheap and as I searched online you can find many of their products on sale on amazon.com for half of the price you pay in the stores. I will be tweeting about this very soon if I do not get any feedback from anyone at Cindies. read more
