She sized me up (literally) within seconds, brought back the perfect style, and I walked out with two new everyday bras that fit beautifully. The whole fitting and trying on experience took about all of seven minutes. Kathy's confidence and expertise were undeniable, and she lovingly talked me into treating myself to one extra-sexy bra, because as she reminded me, I deserve it. My experience was nothing short of exceptional. Kathy is skilled, professional, and kind. If you're looking for an expert fitting and want to feel like a beautiful woman again, this is the place to go. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dow Hickman, who was on-site. He is a genuinely lovely man with a wonderful story, and it was clear he truly cares about his customers and the business. I visited the store on a weekday around 2:15 PM and had a deeply troubling experience with an associate named Kathy. While I was waiting at the register--next in line--two White customers arrived and stood behind me. When Kathy came forward, she immediately called them ahead, completely ignoring me. Even when one of the women pointed out that I was next, Kathy proceeded to serve them without a word or glance in my direction. After completing their transactions, she walked away as though I wasn't still standing there. Moments later, she warmly offered assistance to another customer--a White customer--while continuing to disregard me entirely. As a woman of color, the message was unmistakable. Kathy's dismissive treatment of me stood in sharp contrast to the enthusiasm and courtesy she extended to others. It was blatant bias, and profoundly disappointing. When I reported the incident to the owner, I received only a hollow apology followed by excuses for her behavior. Frankly, it was insulting. Because of this, I will not be returning, and I will share my experience with others who may consider shopping here. Encounters like this not only alienate customers but also betray the values of respect and inclusivity that every business should uphold. read more

I find that bra shopping is so hard these days ! When my friend recently visited she wanted to go to Top Drawer, which I had never heard of, so we did. Overall it was a fine experience though I will probably keep searching for a bra shop that fits my needs better. I did get 1 cute lingerie set for fun though that I am quite happy with Location/parking: The location is great and there's plenty of parking throughout the shopping center. Unfortunately when we came the location was under construction. There was no dirt/dust or noise, but the space wasn't as inviting and there weren't as many sizes out (I had to go to the back to look at the 30s and it was so awkward I just didn't even really look). Service: The service was ok when we arrived. We were greeted and one lady was helping us. However, the service really fell off the longer we were there (and they weren't that busy) We were both sized within our size range, but not quite right. My friend was given some options without being asked what she was looking for. I was asked what I was looking for but only given 1 option to try. Ultimately I went for a sister size in what they recommended and it was a way better fit due to the cup shape. We both didn't find that we were being communicated with well or being helped much in the shopping experience once the initial sizing was done. Quality/options: I do have to say - their size and style range is impressive ! Despite me having to go to the back for the 30s, I could tell they really had a wide variety up to much larger sizes which is great! They also had a diverse range of brands and styles that they carried. Overall it was a fine experience but between the construction and the awkward service experience, I didn't feel it was ideal. I'm sure if I came back again when the space was finished it would be a better experience. read more

I don't come here as much as I need to but when I do, it's a great experience. I absolutely hate buying bras but the team here makes it a little less annoying. Tamara helped me this visit and was very friendly and accommodating while providing me different bras to try on. I wish they had more of a selection of sports bras for my size. I always have to get the exact same one which is a little unfortunate. I was told one of the bras Tamara had me try was on clearance and that was the only reason why I bought it. This was my first visit to Top Drawer Lingerie and my first ever real bra fitting. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Frieda, one of the fitters. I told them I was interested in getting a bra fitting and she immediately took me back to the dressing room. Frieda was able to fit me just by looking at me for a few seconds--no measuring tape needed! She asked for some of my bra preferences and quickly brought me a few items in my new size and they all fit tremendously. She took the time to explain my new fit and how these bras will support me better and last longer. Super impressed by the quality of service from Frieda! The bras here are flattering, comfortable, and high quality. I bought two of them and have been happy with them so far. They also gave a note at checkout detailing how to take care of the bras. Overall, I loved how comfortable and quick the experience was. The fitting is free, but the bras are a bit more pricey. However, I believe it's worth it. Totally recommend. read more

Bra shopping has mostly been frustrating and stressful for me. I knew I was wearing the wrong size bras that were poor quality. When I visited Top Drawer, my shopping experience was about 20 minutes and couldn't have been more amazing and stress free. When I walked in and said I needed a good strapless bra, Kathy took me to a fitting room and eyed my size almost perfectly at one glance. Every bra style she brought me fit wonderfully and comfortably. I never had to go hunting around the store. Everything I asked for she was knowledgeable about and knew exactly what to search for, bringing me the perfect styles in every color they had in my size. European bras are far more expensive than ones you'll find in major stores, but the quality is worth it, especially if you are a person who has trouble finding bras in larger sizes. Top Drawer not only offers some of the best brands, but the best service too. And it is so important to get properly fitted for a bra, and not just pick up what you think your style is. Remember going here when I was in my teens with my mother. Always looked forward to getting older and purchasing my own nice pieces. Don't live near the area about a two hour drive but was in town today an decided to stop. Looked at some bathing suits but really needed a bra for work. Ultimately just a horrible sales associate. I'm 145 pounds. She kept trying to squeeze me into 32 around to "give me lift" because I said I didn't want to have the "minimized look" I'm at bare minimum a 36 around sometimes 38 depending on bra. Didn't find one I was happy with I told her thank you for all the help and she proceeded to say "you can always go to Victoria secret for a bombshell" Just seemed like a snarky ass unnecessary comment she held the door open for us so I didn't continue to shop just left I feeling belittled. So it is my granny and papa's 60th wedding anniversary and I went in today for a bra for my backless dress. I am pretty top heavy. I am fully aware that I am not an A or B cup. And the people working there let me know that as well. She was of no help at all. And she made me feel like being top heavy was a crime. I left feeling very disappointed. They basically said I can't help you, you are too big. It was just such a terrible experience and I will not be back. This was probably my most productive site visit all year. Like a lot of women, I had no idea of my bra size and it was evident in my ill-fitting bras and back and shoulder pain. I'd taken to eschewing the offending things altogether (which did no favors for my girls who were steadily flying south for the winter) just to get some relief. Dreaming of a better tomorrow, I follow a few lingerie experts on twitter, and one day a woman out of Chicago name-dropped this place. When I saw the word "Houston" I perked up and immediately began planning be visit. I had to postpone my trip due to COVID but once I finally got up there I knew the wait had been worth it. I was quickly ushered into a dressing room and only waited for a few minutes before the legendary Kathy (or Mary Katherine) came, took one glance at me, touched my bare back for two seconds, and spouted a size that I never would have guessed, even if I was being generous. She asked what kind of bras I was looking for and brought me several. My mind was blown as I tried in each one! I had no idea that my girls could be LIFTED and SEPARATED while taking strain off my back and shoulders! I've been made a new creature and all of my past bra sins have been washed away. Easily a five star experience. I was on the hunt for a bridal bustier, had to be lace with boning. I went to every department store in the Galleria and failed, but ALL of the lingerie ladies recommended Top Drawer without hesitation first. I called over, they told me they carried a few styles, so I planned to stop by. It took a few days of running pre-wedding errands, but we finally headed over towards Uptown Park in 5PM traffic (dumb, I know). We were 4 minutes til 6 (when they close) and called asking if they can help us if we arrived at closing. They said sure. When I got there, the door was locked and blocked by a sign. I was exasperated, but Linda let me in and said it was no problem - she could help me. She looked right at me and correctly guessed my bra size. She grabbed the first bustier but I knew it would be too thick for my dress. I had already returned one to Dillard's that was awkward at my fitting and cost $75. Linda then brought out a gorgeous Carnival lace bustier, and it was perfect. She however said it was "too big" and needed to be altered (I always don't mind being told I am smaller than I am!) She offered FREE rush alterations and told me it would be ready Thursday (this was Monday at closing). It was ONLY $50!!! I paid and ran out and I think I was in and out in less than 6 minutes! I got a call this (Wednesday) morning saying it was READY! I made it right before 6 today and tried it on - PERFECT and I look sexy and skinny :) Linda worked her magic - GREAT service, beautiful lingerie, good prices, and very generous with her time! I learned about this shop from co-workers. We were discussing uncomfortable bras. They all said try Top Drawer, and I am so glad I did. Yes, the fitting process was uncomfortable at first, they have you remove your top and bra, then size you by looking at you, no touching or measuring. But, oh did they get it right. I have NEVER had a bra fit so well. Mary-Kathryn is the saleswoman I prefer, she just seems to get it perfect every time. The bra fits so well I could sleep in it. Where it used to be so bad I could not wait to get home after work and remove the thing. They have a large selection of sizes, which is nice. But what is nicer, is that no matter the size, they have something that is VERY feminine that will fit you. Until Top Drawer I had only gone with basic, blah bras. I learned you can have comfort, fit, and sexy all in one. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly. But when I called spoke to Rita she was excited about me and this challenge , when I came in she was waiting along with Heather the other ladies to help me get my foundation on track ! well nothing in the store fit lol but hunty they measured and strapped and got busy , in about week they called me back .
