Don't judge me. I'm human. There are times I need to jazz up my life. I heard of Adam & Eve online but never seen it as a store. Coming here was completely coincidence. I was trying to avoid traffic on the freeway. I decided to take local route. This store is located on the other side of gayborhood on Westheimer. There were not many cars. So, parking perpendicular to the side of building was no issues. There were quite of few employees working at the store when I visited. They seem to have a good time. When I walked around for few minutes, a friendly employee came to answer my questions. I had a great shopping experience because she was super helpful. I just wish other employees can take their personal conversations with profanity away from customers. read more

They have a lot of delicious outfits, especially some of the ones in the windows on the yummy yummy mannequin models. This corporate chain has been around as mail order for years, but only in recent years penetrated (ahem!) the Houston market with a location in this neighborhood and a second location outside the Loop past The Galleria. Gone are the days of seedy back rooms with swinging doors and cashiers who would barely look you in the face. Oh, no - Adam & Eve has nice sales associates who are pleased to help you find whatever you want - and you won't feel embarrassed for asking. (I was personally assisted by a sweet guy named Tyler!) The store has some of everything - intimate wear, sex toys, lubes, videos. Some of the toys are pretty fancy stuff, too - like the WeVibe Chrome which comes with a remote controller and an APP! (This device, by the way, sells for almost $20 less here than at one of their major competitors!). Another great thing about A&E - they're open until midnight seven nights a week! My husband and I walked in and needed something new. We have a horrible silicon rabbit. We were immediately welcomed with smiles and "hey welcome to Adam and Eve, if you need any help let us know" we declined and went towards the vibrators. The sales woman was pushy, nosy and intrusive. While we were examining a motorized cock ring she interrupted us to push the $180 we vibe vibrator. We made it as obvious as possible that we did not need any assistance and would seek her if we had any questions but she continued to eavesdrop and offer expensive suggestions that we were not interested in. Lied about product and when we were dissatisfied with the expensive purchase and tried to get a refund they approached us with hostility and an attitude. Drop the attitude and maybe more people will return to your store. I never plan to return here and I would advise that nobody else does. The two store attendants (Hispanic woman, black male) literally followed us around the entire store. Literally. This is a very 'interesting' place. Take you wildest fantasy and them merge it with retail and at that intersection you find yourself at Adam and Eve in Montrose. The selection is edgy, but fun. The staff is friendly and you don't actually feel like taking a shower when you leave and hide your face when leaving the store.
