I was trying to avoid traffic on the freeway. I decided to take local route. This store is located on the other side of gayborhood on Westheimer. There were not many cars. So, parking perpendicular to the side of building was no issues. There were quite of few employees working at the store when I visited. They seem to have a good time. When I walked around for few minutes, a friendly employee came to answer my questions. I had a great shopping experience because she was super helpful. They have a lot of delicious outfits, especially some of the ones in the windows on the yummy yummy mannequin models. Oh, no - Adam & Eve has nice sales associates who are pleased to help you find whatever you want - and you won't feel embarrassed for asking. (I was personally assisted by a sweet guy named Tyler!) The store has some of everything - intimate wear, sex toys, lubes, videos. Some of the toys are pretty fancy stuff, too - like the WeVibe Chrome which comes with a remote controller and an APP! My husband and I walked in and needed something new. We have a horrible silicon rabbit. Lied about product and when we were dissatisfied with the expensive purchase and tried to get a refund they approached us with hostility and an attitude. Drop the attitude and maybe more people will return to your store. I never plan to return here and I would advise that nobody else does. The Staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and gave great tips. They knew the products and were not shy to answer questions and make recommendations. The place Is very clean, the atmosphere was relaxed. No pressure sales and everything we purchased has lived up to what the gentleman stated behind the counter. He took the time to go through everything that took batteries or had to be plugged in to make sure everything worked. The one item we purchased stopped working about 2 months after purchasing. We took it back and they had no problem exchanging it. Can not ask for better customer service and selection. This is now the only store we use for our products the wife and I purchase. Boyfriend and I came here last week with the intention of buying a few items. We are both in an early 20's and African American. The two store attendants (Hispanic woman, black male) literally followed us around the entire store. Literally. I would go to look at something and they would come over and say "wanna look at it" and take it out of the box and hand it to me as if I couldn't be trusted to look at the item. The staff is friendly and you don't actually feel like taking a shower when you leave and hide your face when leaving the store. The area here is not so great and it's a hassle to find good parking,I had to park in the bookstore across from it and walk), but other than that, this is a really nice place to find affordable lingerie. I didn't really look at the selection on the sex toys, but you can find really nice and affordable lingerie. They sell the inexpensive brands as well as others. I noticed that the store was very clean and neatly organized. The dressing room is huge and very clean with great lighting. Keep in mind that you can only try on some of their clothing if you are wearing the right underwear. Edit: I visited this location recently but I felt discriminated by one of the employees. She asked my friend and I for our ID, which is understandable, but then my friend asked if she could try on a bodysuit and she said no. The weird part was that we had been there the week before when this employee was not there and the assistant manager had no problem with her trying out clothes on the hangers as long as she was wearing underwear. This employee's excuse for denying her was because so many high school kids had been sneaking in, yet we are both 21+ and she had already checked out IDs. She finally let us try on the clothes but she had an attitude and was being very rude plus I noticed that when customers of a certain race came in, she didn't ask for their ID. Funny thing is, we did end up buying the clothing we tried on. I would advise going to the other sex shop down the street instead of this one. Employees there are much more friendly and helpful. I would always spend a generous amount of money when visiting here, but after that treatment, I will NOT be returning. read more
