I know what you're thinking. Why all the lingerie/adult store reviews? The bachelorette parties are over - for now - but today I was searching for something to help me with an upcoming presentation for work. ...Hey, I like to keep the crowds interested. And no, you're not invited. This Cindie's is far better than the one ITL off Shepherd (between W Alabama and Richmond). The ladies are friendly but not overbearing, and it appears that they have a better selection of everything they offer: gift bags, cards, lotions, undies, men's wear, wigs, stockings, nighties, lingerie and toys. (Erotic Cabaret does have them beat when it comes to costumes and club wear.) This location is organized and well-stocked. I think if you're searching for lingerie, try this Cindie's first. (No, not part of my presentation) A lot of their fashions actually appear to be comfortable, yet still sexy and affordable. Maybe they got a new buyer? Give that person a raise. And with my purchases today, I got a Cindie's koozie (not that I don't already have a drawer-full), but this might come handy for my presentation, too. I've seriously been debating for a while whether to write this review or not but I don't know what's happened to Cindie's recently but these employees seriously have something up their ass. I can't shop here without being followed around like a lost puppy and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable and angry. And the way i've witnessed how these girls will treat hispanic people who come in is absolutely ridiculous. Don't ignore and not greet people just because of their race... Even as an adult, I will continue to firmly believe my mother and father have never set foot in a store with more lubricants than a Jiffy Lube. On the other hand, I learn something new every time I browse through the store. Sometimes things I don't want to know are burned into my brain forever - but to each his or her own, right? Thanks for being educational, Cindie's. In addition to all of the adult novelties, Cindie's carries lingerie and Halloween costumes. If you want to be the Naughty or Sexy version of just about anything, Cindie's has the Halloween costume you've been looking for. Of course, it's not anything you can wear if you're taking the kids trick or treating. The Naughty Nurse isn't well received when handing out candies to the neighborhood kids. Cindie's keeps late hours too. If you need something, they're open until midnight. Because, you just never know what you might have to have after the sun goes down that you can't find at your nearby grocery store. Came in today and went to try something on and the store representative very rudely said "can I help you?" She then proceeded to rudely tell me "have you ever been somewhere where you don't check in before trying something on?" She was very rude and yelled at me in front of other customers about simply trying to go into the dressing room. When I tried to say I was just wanting to try one item on she turned her back to me and walked off. There was no sign or anything posted about having to check in before going into the dressing room or ask the attendant for assistance. She could have handled it in a different way. If I could choose zero stars I would and I will not be returning to this location. read more

I am not crazy about "all" toys but there is a particular kind I always buy. I've bought it since my young days in West st (the village) NY. And I have to say, the best quality I've found at Cindies. I'm a guy and kinda private. Walking into the store, I was greeted and left alone to "browse" which is what I wanted. After having difficulty finding the product I wanted, the young lady at the desk, came over and offered her help. We had a great conversation and she answered my questions and found me the right product (with no embarrassment). Great, well stocked store. Ample parking out front. I love coming here. But this time it wasn't a warm welcoming. One lady (Spanish lady). Very nice and very helpful. There was another lady there wasn't very "welcoming" her energy was off. Leaning on the corner reading with the fan directly on her. YES! It was warm in there. She look at me a few time as I was walking around. Not once a "smile" or "hello" or "may I help you with something". RUDE! I mean nothing! My only complaint was that women not being welcoming into a place of business, she might need to get some pointers on the other young lady there. I really don't care who that other lady is, maybe she was a manager or supervisor but learn how to be polite and say hello to a customer! I'm a paying customer. Never returning. My friends and I went to this location around 10 at night. There were no other customers in the store. We were all looking for sexy outfits and a Halloween costume. Point being that we were PAYING customers! I was trying on my second outfit and my friends tell me to hurry up because the ladies working there would not let us use their bathroom. Instead of being able to stay longer and getting to find a costume, we had to leave. Then as we get into our car one of the employees comes to the glass door and points out the No PUBLIC restrooms sign. If you are a PAYING customer, you are not simply using the restroom as a public restroom. They lost major business last night. read more

Absolutely Horrible Bought perfume after basically being pressured by sales associates my wife and I tried it out and the perfume did not even last for 20 minutes tried to return it the very next day with receipt. On the receipt it says fully refundable with receipt within 14 days of purchase came in the and they called they store owner who did not even try to let me exchange it for anything else was shut down right away Nothing on there return items list at front register said no returns on perfume they had alot of things on that list but this was not one of them! The actual item we came in for we never got was talked out of buying I would wanted to just exchange it for that item I really wanted! But absolutely not and not even a sorry! This was my Husband and I first trip to this location we walked in around 9:20 PM we saw that the door was open and decided to go around and take a look upon entering the store it was hotter inside than it was outside the two young ladies working at the front were drenched in sweat standing directly in front of a fan. We wandered the store for about 10 minutes before my husband and I were drenched in sweat. I attempted to try on a couple of outfits but immediately knew that I would soon pass out if I stayed inside that store any minute longer. I feel absolutely horrible for the two young ladies working there because they have been there for multiple hours no one should have to endure this heat during Texas summer.
