Came in for a nail removal and it was a bad experience. The technician was prying my nails off instead of properly filing them. It felt rough and painful, and honestly pretty damaging. I asked if they could file them instead and got a dismissive reaction. The whole service felt careless and unfriendly, and there was zero basic courtesy (no communication, not even a goodbye). Between the poor skills, lack of professionalism, and refusal to address my concerns while there was still an opportunity to fix them, I would not return or recommend this salon. Shady business practices and dishonest people. I was in the area running errands and decided to get my nails done for an upcoming event two days later. The salon was completely empty, which in hindsight should have been my first red flag, but I wanted to give a new place a chance. I showed a photo of exactly what I wanted and asked if they could achieve the same look with gel. They confidently assured me they could. I also specifically asked how long it would take and whether it would be more than an hour. I was told about 40 minutes and "definitely less than an hour." Unfortunately, the technician I was given seemed either very inexperienced or improperly trained. The shaping was uneven, the filing was extremely slow, and the employee that answered my questions in the beginning repeatedly had to come over to check her work, give her instructions, and even correct some of what she had done. At that point, I politely asked the more experienced employee if she could take over because I was becoming uncomfortable with how my nails were turning out. She refused and told me, "No, it's her turn." This made absolutely no sense to me. There was only one other additional customer in the salon at this point, who was already being helped by someone else. Instead, this employee sat in the chair next to us on her phone while the technician continued struggling with my nails. At this point, we were almost an hour in, and the polish hadn't even been applied yet. When the polish was applied, I immediately noticed that the color looked completely different from the reference photo. I pulled up the photo again and pointed this out. Rather than acknowledging the difference, they repeatedly reassured me that it would look like the photo after another layer. It did not. They continued telling me how "beautiful" the nails looked despite them clearly not resembling what I had requested. At the end, the nails were so poorly done, the color was atrocious and nothing like I'd asked for, and it took 1.5 hours to do gel nails. Worst experience I've ever had. Not only was I disappointed with how the nails looked, I raised concerns multiple times during the service, gave them opportunities to correct the issues, and even specifically asked for the more experienced technician to take over. Instead of listening to me, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. I ended up having to go to another nail salon the very next day and pay to have the work corrected before my event. Even the technician at the second salon commented on how poorly the original nails had been done. She literally showed my nails to the technician next to us and said "ugly". read more

She was so gruff and I literally said "ouch" more than once and she did not even look up or notice. TLDR: UNSANITARY. The worker soaked my hands in her previous client's dirty hand water that had nail clippings in it and made me bleed. Still asked if I wanted to tip at the end. I'm really disappointed with my experience at Cinderella Nails today. First, the woman who worked on me today started off pretty rough while pushing my cuticles back, I didn't say anything and endured it. After cleaning my nails, she put my hand in a bowl to soak. I thought, oh that's interesting, I see little nail clippings in the water but I'm pretty sure she didn't cut that much of my nails off, just mostly filed down as my nails were short. After 5 min of it soaking, she suspiciously takes the bowl to the back of the room, then comes back with it. The water is warm this time. I asked her, "Were you soaking my hands in someone's old water?" She simply replies, "yeah." Her coworkers look over and one of them asks, "what did you just ask her?" I said, "I asked her if she was soaking my hand in the previous customer's water." The woman working on me apologizes, the coworkers apologize. They ask if I'm okay. I tell them really bluntly "No, I'm really angry because I have a CUT on my finger (Prior to this appointment) and she just soaked my hand In someone else's dirty water. I can get an infection." A woman who I am assuming is the owner comes and wipes my cut with cotton and alcohol and says, "sorry honey." I don't say anything because I don't accept their apology, but I tell them it's okay for us to continue with the appointment. I am here anyway. Then of course, shortly after, she cuts too deep into my cuticle and I start bleeding. My manicure turned out good, but this place is incredibly unsanitary. I'm positive she did not even wash out the dirty bowl of water with soap before coming back and putting my hand in it again. If I didn't have a cut that was still in the early stages of healing, I may not have been as angry, but that's still pretty freaking gross. I literally saw a bunch of someone's little nail clippings at the bottom of the bowl and floating around. I honestly should have left after that, because the woman had the audacity to ask if I am tipping her and didn't bother to accommodate some kind of discount or ANYTHING for potentially infecting me with something. This is my worst manicure experience. The store looks okay when I first walked in. I asked if they do hard gel nails and the lady who came out to greet me said yes. Then she asked me to sit down at the back corner seat. Then another nail lady came helped me. The first image of her was bad since her own nails are not tidy and ugly but I didn't want to be rude and didn't say anything, The lady use a really coarse file and use all of her force to file my nails and rubbed the finger skin. I felt like my skin is about to bleed. When the nails were done, it's not quite the gel nail that I expected. I thought she just put an extra layer of top coat. The nail polish color was not evenly painted. Then she asked me to removed my watch. I didn't know why but I did. She put some lotion on my forearm and gave me a massage without asking me. I don't feel comfortable but it was too late to stop her.She seems happy to provide me the extra service. After it's done, I paid and got out of the shop ASAP. When I got home, the skin on one of my fingers was red and itchy. I thought it's from the lotion which the lady put on to massage me. The massage was a little too hard to on legs so I asked them to just leave it since it felt like I was going to have bruises after. Now when I got my acrylic set , I was a little disappointed because it was crooked and still had bumps . When she was taking my nails off, she ended up ripping one of my nails off and it hurt so bad. It was bleeding and she acted like it was okay. She also still kept pushing for me to get acrylics smh. I was so mad and wanted to storm off. But it was the day of my babyshower so I had asked her forget about the acrylics I'll just do gel on my real nails. The painting could of been better and the gel didn't even last long on my nails . I got my nails done Saturday and by Sunday it was chipping off already. I don't even know where to begin. I came here for a basic fill. Nothing too fancy, basic fill. When I sat down she asked if I wanted them cut down. I said yes please cut down and I like the shape of the set I was getting a fill for and to do another almond shape. As the tech gets started I knew something was not right. She took off my previous gel polish with the machine from my previous nails. I had one nail with a crack on the top from them being 3 weeks old. After the tech took off the polish she immediately put on the powder on top which I thought was unusual since after you have a crack you typically see the nail sanded flat down to prepare for the acrylic powder. After the tech asks me if I liked my nails and I said I'm so sorry but no. I'm having a hard time with them because I asked for them shorter and shaped. The nails were not shaped at all just powder on top and then polish. No shaping, no blending out the top of the acrylic; nothing. I told the tech I did not like it and she ignored me. I also had another brow service done but that is another bad story for another day. After I got home I got a text to review my experience and I was honest about my experience and quickly got a text to come back and fix them and why didn't I say something. It is incredibly belittling to say something and being ignored when it is a service you are paying for, as well as been to this establishment a couple times prior. I did not feel comfortable going back, if no one herd me the first time why would the second be any different. I ended up going to another nail salon down the road and asked to please reshape them and cut them down, thinking this was a quick and easy job. Once the nail tech took off my gel polish she was shocked, 8 out of 10 nails were completely un fixable, they were all cracked on the sides, my nails under were sticking outside of the acrylic, but my #1 biggest issue is 8 nails were cracked on the sides and bubbled up which leads to fungus. Once water and bacteria gets under your nails fungus happens fast as well as with the gel polish on top you wouldn't even know until you took your nails off. I told the owner about my experience and told her I would not write a review but after seeing the condition of my nails once the gel was off, it was unbelievably unacceptable. I paid $35 for a fill to have to pay $50 to have them fixed. I feel completely robbed of my money as well as it has costed me more to fix them. This is my first bad Yelp review I've ever written and I do truly feel guilty for writing it but the practices of acrylic that was used are unacceptable and will lead to fungus and infections. read more

I have been coming here for 8 years, it has always been very clean and the employees pleasant. It's more beautiful now with the chandeliers and the walls less crowded with the big TVs that use to be there. It's very close to my house, but after today's experience, I will not be back. it started with the lady nicking my cuticle.it was very painful and bled. she did apologize but attempted to keep going in the same area and I kindly asked to just bypass the toe since it was still throbbing, but she said "not hurt!" and still picked at the sensitive area. i get things happen, but when someone asks you to just leave an area that is sensitive, you should leave it. then she started painting with a similar color I asked for on my hands, but I kindly asked her that I wanted a different color on my feet. she said, "oh you don't want the same color?" I said, "no ma'am, i'd like a different color for my feet." every place i've been to, they ask you if you want the same color for your hands and feet. meanwhile, the lady next to her that also works here kept laughing and staring at me. I just felt uncomfortable, and though I do not speak the language, I can pick up on very basic body cues, eye contact and gestures. at one point, the lady was laughing right at me. but not in a nice way. i don't consider myself a difficult customer at all and wish i had a different experience. it's safe to say I will not be back here. read more
