I got a lunch "surprise bag from App to hood to ho that was supposed to be worth $30. Tge photos showed cervixhe, empanadas and tacos. I got a bag from a nasty counterfeiting wirh a yogurt, unripe cantaloupe, a sandwich onwhote cheap bread with unknown old cold cut and a container wirh cold rice and beans and gross chicken thigh. Everything looked terrible. Going to throw it all away. What a ripoff and nothing like the advertise. I would never recommend to anyone. Total waste of time and money.

Food - I got the Mixto ceviche bowl and it was super tasty. It included shrimp, white fish and octopus and the sauce was delicious! It came with sweet potatoes and Peruvian corn - both tasty but wish the portion was a little bigger of the sides (the ceviche itself is as very filling and big portion). It also came with a side of chips (they were slightly stale). But the ceviche was the star - and they recently won an award for their ceviche! Service - this was 5/5. Our server spent time answering all of our questions, was super friendly and gave us some ice cream at the end of our meal! Ambiance - the restaurant was in a food court and was very bright and colorful. There were probably like 10-12 other food booths. Would definitely recommend to others coming to Miami. Award

This place has great Peruvian food, wow! Flavors were so good and fresh. Chef Nilton is a master chef with ceviche and Peruvian cuisine winning awards on South Beach. We got the tacos, tostones with ceviche and two fresh coconuts. All were great! Chef makes everything to order which shows how much he cares about quality food and preparation. The location is so convenient next to Macys on Lincoln Road. Definitely stop in and check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

I was attending a conference nearby and we decided to grab a bite to eat in the eatery where Cilantro 27 is located. Cilantro 27 is located in an eatery with a dozen or so other establishments. You can choose from items ranging from burgers to ramen to tacos with a lot in between. Service was a miss. The cashier was not friendly like at all. I was traveling for work so I always like to leave a nice tip for service but they didn't let me. Yes that sounds weird but they just took the POS tablet and rushed it along. The ambiance is nice. The restaurant has a good setup. I ordered octopus tacos. The food took about 25-minutes to come out which was a lot. I don't know if that is usual or not but I would t come for a quick bite based on that. Lastly, the octopus tasted good. I think this place has promise but it may have just been an off day or hour for me.

Listen. I've been here twice and it's been SPECTACULAR both times! I just ordered the daily lunch special and this salad was so refreshing and juicy. It was an out-of-body experience and it was "just" a salad. As someone who grew up eating Peruvian food and loves Peru, this place is a hidden gem. 10/10. **EDIT** I am back for more today (the next day frm original post) So refreshing and filling. The quality stays consistent! I've now had three different lunch specials in two days, and I'm LITTLE!! They serve generous portions. I leave feeling good too.

A little food court stand with a lot of flavor. When you can't decide between Peruvian ceviche or Mexican food, you can get both! The ceviche was a particularly generous portion! Mixto Ceviche Bowl: Priced similarly to ceviche at nearby table service restaurants, but the portion is like 2x as large! The fish chunks were tender and absorbed a lot of the nice citrusy marinade. A ton of octopus that was just the right texture of tender and chewy. And a bunch of plump shrimp. The tortilla chips added a good crunch texture to the seafood, though they should have packaged this separately because some of the chips touching the ceviche got soggy quickly. Speaking of textures, I appreciate that they had both big chewy corn and fried crunchy corn kernels, both going nicely with the ceviche. Queso Fundido Con Chorizo: A big mound of melted stringy white cheese attached to a piece of foil with some chunks of chorizo. It congeals pretty quickly like that, so you might need to microwave it in a bowl at home (peeling away the tin foil first). The chorizo chunks were an odd choice though since most of the time I get queso fundido it has the ground meat chorizo, which travels more evenly over the cheese.

Great value deal with an impressive flavor profile. Ordered off the app "Too Good To Go" and received a jaw dropping deal! *Steak Quesadilla with cheese oozing out of every slice. Perfectly cooked and saucy. The tortilla was crisp and not burnt. Not too oily, with a great buttery taste. *The sandwich was unexpectedly delicious, with a flavor that puts Cilantro's name to the test! Powerful chicken flavor with an unforgettable cilantro sauce that wrapped up the flavor profile perfectly. The bread was not toasty, which is my only complaint.

The food was delicious. Had the Classic Ceviche Bowl. Mild is the way to go/ not too spicy yet a good mouth feel. The Peruvian corn and sweet potato also very good- but wished there was more in the bowl, Highly recommend this place for the food, ambiance (food court vibe), and the service was personable, professional , and helpful.

Chicken Quesadilla Pollo and chips and guacamole

The location is cute and there are many options to choose from but I'm so glad I picked this spot. The chicken quesadilla had such good flavor along with guacamole. You will not be disappointed.

Great little food truck in the Shenandoah area. A short drive down the street from Coconut Grove (down 27th). We arrived on a Sunday evening. Chef Nilton welcomed us. We ordered fish tacos and mofongo with lomo saltado. The food took a little time to arrive, but that's okay because we could tell it was fresh. The portions were generous. There were three tacos with big portions of fish. The green cilantro sauce on the side was to die for. Great compliment condiment that I understand they plan on selling by itself at some point. The mofongo was excellent. Moist and full of flavor. Chef Nilton is a genius for combining the mofongo with lomo saltado, two of my fav dishes. I'm not sure why I didn't think of that before. The theme is modern Latin, and they execute it masterfully. Prices are super reasonable. They do takeout as well. We will be back. read more

Ok. I needed to run to write this review before the tantalizing taste escaped my tastebuds. I live nearby this parked food truck and have been tempted to try but, I've always been skeptical about eating from food trucks. Boy, am I glad that my first experience was the bomb! This food was awesome ! We had: fish tacos (3 to an order on soft flour tortillas ) fresh, tasty, good portion, perfect combo of fresh veggie(cabbage& tomato) toppings and perfectly served . Lomo saltado - this is the most awsomisimo combo ever. Your tastebuds will go crazy just - umm umm -oh so so good. It's served with his twist of yummy mofongo ( which equals to soft, creamy, tasty delicious) . Now to the Lomo- this meat is soft, tender, moist and perfectly seasoned. Did I mention the portions? YES, finally delicious food paired with great portions Ceviche mixto- lemony cooked, oniony, cilantroy fresh and exceptionally delightful . I finally got to try this place out!! They saw me crossing the street and I immediately got my order in. I ordered mofongo with lomo and it was out pretty quickly. I can't believe this place has no Stars!! We ordered from Cilantro food truck last Friday & let me tell you it's nothing like your regular food trucks that serve you very little food. They serve Peruvian, Puerto Rican & a couple of Colombian sides. We ordered the Friday special Lomo Saltado, it was very fresh & flavorful! My hubby ordered the Octopus with mofongo (mashed green plantain) it was so good! The ceviche was so Fresh too! I highly recommend this Food Truck! You won't be disappointed! Yum Yum read more

So good ! Best of both worlds. Not only is the food fresh and delicious but you also get big portions. I was expecting some mini fish tacos and they were pretty much regular size. 10/10 quality, flavor, and value!! Don't bother going anywhere else for incredible ceviche. I ordered the octopus and the classic ceviche and we left no crumbs. Definitely combine it with a lemonade. Coconut and the ginger lemonade were not too sweet and were perfect pair with the ceviche. Great service as well! read more

People come before food. Cilantro 27 apparently does not agree. I was hosting an event with 100 teachers who were giving up their Saturday to learn how to be better at what they do. Less than an hour before lunch, our contact received an EMAIL, not a call, to say they couldn't make it. That's it! We were left w 100 teachers and no other lunch options. This diss was low and unacceptable. read more

So, Cilantro27 did a express pop-up lunch in our office today. Express, NOT! To preface, we had the option of preordering our lunch. This should have allowed for quick pickup. I gave my name for pickup, the young lady walked away and never came back. Seconds later, she began taking orders for other people. I then inquired about my lunch order and she told me that HE said I needed to reorder. Another young lady came over, asked me name and found my order sitting on a shelf. For 2 of us, We ordered: 5 tacos - 1 carne asada and 1 pollo al carbon (on flour) and 3 al pastor (on corn), 2 esquites, watermelon juice and passion fruit juice. We received: 6 tacos - 1 fish and 2 al pastor (on flour) and 3 carne asada (on corn). The esquites taste like canned corn and The watermelon juice was drowned in sugar. I am sure that this is a great food truck but an express pop-up, it is not. Better luck next time. read more

Wow! Great little find. It was a late night for me when I was driving through 27 Avenue to do some errands. I saw this truck at the corner and decided to check it out. Delicious surprise. I had an arepa con lomo. It was a Venezuelan arepa with Lomo Salteado. Woooow Goooood! I have to say I was amazingly surprised. And the chef even though I was the only person there gave my food all his passion, he cut no corners. This is a place a will return with the family. Made a order through the eat24 yelp collaboration. It was a Wednesday at 9:25 they closed in 35 min. Called immediately to verify the pick up time, guy answered like I was calling a personal number. If your going to publicize a number answer in a correct fashion. I understand your a food truck it might be a little late for you and quantity is limited but don't be a male member about it. My wife's order was not available she was in the shower, told him I'll call right back with a modified order. Called back, tried to change my order he said "I basically don't have anything". Stay home if you don't want to work! Told him I wanted to cancel my order, he advised he would do it through eat24. Still have the order pending on my side. I don't have patience for bad customer service. $&@! this place and the guy who answered the phone. I go out of my way to assist a customer, lost me. I've been wanting to try this place, it's around the corner from the house. I won't be returning. read more

I had the opportunity to stop by yesterday to check out this place !! I loved it . The atmosphere is super nice !! Food is awesome!! Try the mofongo with lomo saltado and fish tacos ! Everything to die for. Also, customer service was on point !! Very nice people ! This place is out of this world, I can't believe it has no reviews. Once you have the Peruvian food from this food truck, you will never go to any other Peruvian restaurant! The lomo saltado plate with mofongo is delicious. It's my favorite, they make everything fresh. Today however, I tried the fish tacos and the ceviche, and I totally recommend it! Went back again a few days ago for the fish tacos and chicken mofongo. WOW! Absolutely delicious! There wasnt a single crumb left on anyone's plate. Everything couldn't have been better. Thank you again Chef, i will be back soon to keep moving down the menu! read more

I read about Cilantro 27 on Miami New Times and so glad I did! My fiancé is Peruvian and all my friends are Puerto Rican, so this place was perfect. We both had mofongo with lomo saltado and it was DELICIOUS! My fiancé only eats lomo saltado when we eat Peruvian food and he loved it! The mofongo was really good too, especially with the juices of the lomo . Can't wait to go back with my Puerto Rican friends! read more

Ordered Lomo Saltado - $13 from food truck - no parking, have to park in bank. Ordered food to go, since I am down the street. Overall pretty bland, but i went around 9ish, so maybe about to close? Rice - slightly dried out - but I think it was jasmine rice, which is kind of nice. Fries - they are super thick steak fries - also pretty bland Lomo Saltado - kind of bland too, missing acid tart and something else is missing in the sauce. It doesn't have the normal umami hints of soy, almost like its that weird Maagi seasoning taste. Portion was decent, a step below good, but his cuts are larger with less pieces, but I also don't think it is lomo, but tasty cut of meat. I also am not sure if it was because the way he builds your order in to go box. Lomo saltado is seperate from rice and fries, instead of stacked on fries like usual with good sauce. This leaves the overall dish very bland with huge starchy steak fries seperate, instead of soaking up some of the sauce and giving you the textural crunchy/soggy fries mixed into each bite. Asked for hot sauce on side, he forgot. No utensils either. There are better lomo saltado options around and even in the gables that that will be 12-17 dollars,. the guy seems pretty nice, so i will try this place one more before final review. read more

I live in the area and the food truck caught my eye so we decided to give it a try. All I can say is AMAZING! Everything we ate was nothing short of spectacular ! From the mofongo with lomo to the ceviche we ate we were blown away at how delicious everything was !! Explosion of flavors!!! Even the lemonade was the best I have ever tasted!!! We finally had the opportunity during our latest visit to Miami, and I'm glad we did. The restaurant has a really fun, eclectic atmosphere, with tropical greenery covering the ceiling, colorful decorative installations, and dramatic artwork. There is so much to look at! I especially liked the multicolored string art installation, which added color and movement to the center of the restaurant. We started with the Ceviche Nikkei Tartare, made with diced tuna marinated in Nikkei sauce, avocado, olive oil, seasonal vegetables, and quinoa pop, accompanied by homemade crackers. We really enjoyed this appetizer! It was fun to eat, with a great blend of flavors and contrasting textures. My husband ordered the Lomo Saltado, with tenderloin sautéed with onions, tomatoes, yellow peppers, and cilantro, served with crunchy French fries and white rice. The tenderloin was tender and had a good flavor. I especially love a dish that gives you French fries AND rice! The fries were really good, too. I ordered the Wagyu Nigiri, which came with two beautifully presented pieces topped with gold leaf. It was delicious! For dessert, we shared the Misti, a three-layer volcano-shaped dessert with lúcuma mousse, chocolate cookie crumble, and Suspiro Limeño, topped with meringue. We really enjoyed the different layers and textures. It was creamy, rich, dense, and quite filling! Our waitress was a real sweetheart. She patiently explained the different dishes and desserts, helping us decide what to order. We really appreciated her friendliness and willingness to answer our questions. Surprisingly, the restaurant didn't automatically add a 20% gratuity, as so many other restaurants in Miami do. It was refreshing to have the choice, even though we often tip more than that anyway. Between the delicious food, interesting presentations, lively atmosphere, and friendly service, we had a wonderful dinner. After wanting to try CVI.CHE 105 for so many years, it was especially satisfying to finally experience it, After dinner, we walked about 20 minutes to the end of Lincoln Road to walk off some of that delicious food!

On this day we started with the cancha and spicy green sauce. We gobbled them up and apprciated the perfect saltiness and added spice of the sauce. Our main dishes were the traditional saltado. Meat was cooked a little more than I preferred but the rice, fries, and sauce all complimented eachother and bellies were full. Check out a staple and leave full.

The ham croquettes, this could be a me thing but i was expecting cheese and it was all ground ham. The fry on it was good though! Overall, great spot for a quick bite. Not too nosy, not too fancy. The only downside was that because it's in a popular area and there's a popular opinion of the restaurant, the food is a bit overpriced for what it is. Otherwise, I would say give it a try!

They were a talented pair singing song requests. The ambience and stage here make this place fun and also perfect for a date. Our server and staff was also very friendly, upbeat and solicitous. Costs like employee health insurance should be built into prices, not added as surprise fees. To make matters worse, when I asked about the charge, the server couldn't explain what it was or why it was being added, so I left with more questions than answers. Between the cover charge, unexpected fees, and lack of transparency, the whole experience felt like a tourist trap. Customers deserve clear pricing and straightforward explanations of any charges before they're added to the bill.

I ordered a fish taco, a crispy fish taco and the carne asada taco, a tamarind Jarrito and churros. My favorite taco was definitely the carne asada and I would come back for that taco and the churros alone, but would also like to try their other menu items. The presentation of the tacos when ordered to go weren't appealing, but they are fresh, tasty and affordable. I definitely recommend The Taco Stand and will keep this place in my rotation of Miami Beach eats!
