Come Tuesday evening, no shipping information, I call, wait on hold 25 minutes to be told there was an issue with your system. Same excuse as last time. I have made several attempts over the last few weeks to reach them via their website, and I have not received a single response. This business promises you a free magazine which you will never get. They also say if you buy over a certain amount you get a free gift. Three times that I purchased over the required amount I was still charged for the full amount of the gift. This website is full of misleading scams like puro perks which will scam you into signing up for ten percent off your order but what they actually doing is charging your card 16 dollars a month weather you place an order or not...Stay away from this site. Also a lot of the cigars are dried out or damage and they refuse to refund. There are other websites out there use them before theses guys.Also check the better business bureau and you will read all about the puro perks scam on that website. read more

They are doing some shady business at Cigars International. I dont think i will be doing any more business with them. After making a purchase with them i somehow got signed up for puroperks which is some kind of club with them. I was seeing charges on my bank account for around 16$ for the past 3 months and had not made any purchases. Apparently i accidently got signed up for that club. Im in the process of being refunded my money but im not sure it works out so well for everyone. To me if you can accidently sign up for something that seems a little suspicious. I have been ordering from this company for 20 years and the last year service has gotten atrocious. My current order is over a week old and still not received & I am only 400 miles away and one state over from their PA location. The tracking link they provided on the email confirmation is a USPS track number that goes to a UPS site via their hotlink. The USPS site when I plug in the tracking number says still waiting for package. Who knows when or if, this last order I will place with them, shows. Tried customer service recently it is terrible. If you message them they just close it out with no response, they just don't answer. If you call I gave up listening to their hold music at 20 minutes. Shame I have sent so much business their way over the years. This company has clearly took a turn for the worse. 7+ days to deliver the last few orders does not do the cigars any favors either in summer heat in shipper's trucks and warehouses. Customer service is so-so. I sent an online message several times, and it took them days to respond, and they only responded to one of my messages. I buy a lot of cigars from CI. Some good, and some over hyped and terrible. Ive had some that were unsmokable. Returns are a big pain and done like it was in the 90's. Customer service reps are pretty spotty. Many dont know how to use the systems or the systems are so bad, they can figure anything out. Takes a week to get a shipping label if you want to return anything meanwhile you a cant get your refund. If you smoke two cigars and they are crap, CI wants to pro-rate you for the smoked cigars. I recently placed my first order with CI about a week ago and I have had nothing but a good experience. The cigars were shipped within 24 hours of my order as well as the tracking of the package worked properly. (Sometimes there are sites that give tracking but its relatively worthless; this was not the case.) Cigars were packaged 'ok'. I bought a sampler of Rocky Patels that were bundled on their own. The 5 AVO sticks were just floating around the box. (I really wish those had been secured to the larger bundle with a little saran wrap, but I'm armchair quarterbacking at this point.) No damage to any of the cigars. I have smoked one of each and they were well hydrated with no defects. Honestly my lack of 5 stars comes from the stress I had reading the horrible comments on yelp and other sites (after I had placed my order). If you are looking to buy a bundle on sale, or looking to try a few cigars you can't get locally this is a great option in my opinion. I wouldn't go spending several hundred dollars on items that can be subjectively sub-par upon your own review. A few months later I get an email saying I need to pay them for my backorder as they stated I had been refunded the amount. I had checked my account and there had been no refund and I tried explaining that to the lady but she didn't believe me and stated if I didn't pay them I wouldn't be able to place anymore order with them. Over the years I have placed a number of orders with Cigars International. This week, I received a collection notice for an order placed in June 2021. After a 45 hold waiting for a representative to answer, I was told they conducted a business audit and found I wasn't billed correctly and now owed this amount. Two years later it is almost impossible to check my credit card records. They could not provide any further proof and it was only for a partial amount of the order that didn't match any item price with or without taxes and shipping fees. I asked how an order could be shipped without a credit card payment and the representative could not clearly articulate a reasonable answer. They have lost a customer and I will be sure to share my experience with my cigar smoking friends. After reading reviews on other sites this is apparently a common issue a number of other customers have faced. Buyer beware that you may receive a bill years later! read more

I received an email confirmation back that the item was in stock. I also paid expedited shipping to insure the item came in on time.
