Server was not very attentive. Food was as expected and priced decently. Queso was tasty a steak did have good flavoring. Pretty consistently busy for lunch and dinner.

Quaint Mexican Grill & Cantina nestled in the Kroger Shopping Center at Hwys 78 & 81 (close to the 81 side). Good chips & salsa, delicious, golden brown chicken chimichanga, awesome Tropical Margarita, great, friendly service from lovely Lilly, menus need cleaning, pleasant atmosphere, open area, crooked picture. All-in-all, good to go.

This review is way overdue. So this was my 1st time at this restaurant when I was down in Georgia and I have to say this food was phenomenal. I don't have the picture but we had the cielo dip which is Queso Dip with grilled chicken, steak and shrimp inside served with three Tortillas. It was amazing I never had anything like that before. We had the fresh madeguacamole. I don't normally like guacamole but I guess because it was fresh and wasn't sitting around for a long time it was really good. We also had the Southwest chicken eggroll once again it was my 1st time having it I've never had a Southwest chicken eggroll before it was nice and moist the chicken wasn't dried out from the eggroll being fried it was good and the Chipotle dipping sauce was spot on. Now onto the main course I had the Texas Bambaso, when I say this was mouthwatering delicious it was mouthwatering delicious. The Texas comes with chicken, shrimp and steak over a bed of rice and topped with cheese sauce. If you love cheese this is the dish for you. Finished the meal off with the Oreo Churros topped with whipped cream and a cherry on top and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Unfortunately I don't remember my waitresses name right now but the manager Jorge was great. He came by the table to check in and make sure everything was going great. I would give this place 10 stars if I could and I highly recommend it

It was…read moremy first time there under the recommendation of my bestie but the Yelp reviews made me a bit hesitant. But I went with the vibes! Located in Lithonia, Don Tello's is located in a busy retail area and I loved that parking wasn't an issue at all. There were 2 arcade games at the front which I'm sure come in handy on busy days when children may become restless if their parents are waiting for a table. As we walked up to the hostess stand, I noticed the printed signage that so many mentioned in their reviews regarding no refunds, remakes, etc. Kinda makes you cautious! But we were quickly seated by friendly hostesses and we weren't turning back. The restaurant was huge and filled with plenty of space for hungry guests. I read reviews regarding their Cinco de Mayo celebration being on swole, and I can definitely imagine that! There were only a few people in our seating area during our visit, but I definitely appreciated that. Our waitress was sweet but quite forgetful. On a number of occasions we found ourselves asking for items two or three times. We'd ask a question and she'd respond in a calm "duh" kinda way as if we knew what was happening in the kitchen, lol. I'm a guacamole purist so when I ordered the Texas guacamole dip, I asked for it to be prepared tableside as that was listed as an option on the menu and I wanted a hand in deciding how much/little of each ingredient and enjoy the prep. When I asked about this, our waitress said, "No. No that's not possible." I asked why not and she said, "The kitchen, they prepare it in the kitchen. Ever since.. yeah, no." LOL not much of an explanation, we were all so puzzled. But I was set on the idea and knew I didn't want the regular guacamole dip because in pictures it looked like avocado puree. Moving along. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. I really appreciated that there were a number of a la carte options (as I never eat my rice and beans) and they were all priced under $7! Such a great deal. I ended up going with a shredded chicken chimichanga along with the guacamole dip and my girlfriends opted for tacos, a beef quesadilla, a burrito and an order of nachos. I'll say this - the portions were insane. My friends' quesadilla was filled up with meat and covered the entire plate (but wasn't cut up) and another girlfriends' nachos could have fed two people. My guacamole was a nice portion as well and I could tell that it was fresh. It was good, not the best I've had, but tasty. I could have used another avocado in the mix and just a litttttttle less lime. Overall, an okay experience but I'm not sure if I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

We were given an opportunity to give them a second chance. Pending new review. -------- Original review : I hate writing negative reviews, but unfortunately today's experience at Superica left a bad taste in my mouth. For starters, the restaurant wasn't ready to open. The doors didn't open until approximately 10:10 AM, and employees were still actively preparing the restaurant while guests waited. The seating process felt chaotic, and overall the staff appeared disengaged and unenthusiastic. Everyone--from the hosts to the servers to the kitchen staff--seemed to be moving at a pace slower than molasses. It certainly wasn't the energetic brunch atmosphere I remembered. Our server, was particularly disappointing. Despite arriving early, we waited over 30 minutes for our food while multiple tables seated after us (with different servers) were already eating. We repeatedly had to ask for water refills, chip refills, and basic service needs. Whenever we needed him, he seemed to have vanished like the last tortilla chip in the basket. The service issues continued throughout the meal. We requested to-go boxes and were handed a stack of five-plus containers, but no bag. After waiting, I eventually had to track down another server myself to get one. At that point, it felt like I had been promoted from customer to assistant waiter. The most frustrating moment came at the end of the meal. Before we had even requested the check and while I was actively packing leftovers into my to-go containers, Blake seemed overly eager to clear the table. In the process, my to-go containers were knocked to the ground, and my phone ended up falling and cracking. What should have been a routine cleanup turned into an expensive and frustrating ending to an already disappointing experience. To make matters worse, prices have increased significantly. I would not recommend the huevos rancheros. For the current price, receiving what amounted to two small eggs and roughly a quarter of an avocado served over chips felt underwhelming and difficult to justify. The one bright spot remains the pancakes, which continue to be consistently excellent. I've enjoyed Superica in the past, which makes it especially disappointing to see the decline in service, attention to detail, and overall value. Today's experience felt less like hospitality and more like hard labor.

Wait to get seated to help us look busy. No thanks!!!

We were quickly seated and overall service was very friendly and accommodating. My margarita was very fresh tasting and the spicy salt rim was delicious. Next time, I will opt for the 16oz compared to the 12 Oz. Tne fresh juices were tasty as well as the flavor option such as tamarind. Chips were crisp and flaky. So much better than other similar places where the chips were inedible and so hard. We requested red salsa that was more like hot sauce. The salsa that accommodated the chips turned put to be salsa Verde and mayo, not our favorite. So when we were asked, we requested a salsa verde option which was the best choice overall. The $2+ cost for endless chips was worth it for me. Hubby requested the shrimp fajitas and I ordered the shrimp Mexicana platter. Good portion sizes even if flavors were not that complex. Homemade corn tortillas were very good. Overall, an enjoyable meal. Looking forward to our next visit!
