I first wanted the salmon & the pulpo but were out of both unfortunately. I really wanted to try those but ended up getting the aguachiles instead. They were very decent, spicy level was truly a zero and i really like mines spicy. The bottom was fulllllll of onions but decent amount of shrimp for $23 (i think) Cute scenery but maybe because we went late, it was empty and very quiet. I'll definitely have to come back and try other items, we had wine with dinner.

I just made sure to ask for extra pickled onions because they are delicious. My husband had a beef burrito with cheese dip, rice, and beans. Alejandro did bring three sauces for us to try with different levels of heat, but I opted not to try any of them after I tried one and I didn't like the taste. I was good with just the salsa that came with the chips. I ordered a flan to go and I would give that a six out of 10. I don't ever have to have that again. The bathrooms were clean and really smelled nice. Whatever air freshener they are using in the women's bathroom is a 10 out of 10. Parking here is free and is first come first serve. There is a lower parking area available if the top level is full. The parking lot is shared with other restaurants and businesses in the same complex. I would definitely come back here to try something else recommended by the staff.

The margaritas were all premade, even the skinny margarita, and I had no choice, but to order the premade margaritas. At least, you could have a bowl of fresh seasoned beans.

Frida's has a great outdoor dining space just as inside. Today they have decorated for Cinco De Mayo. The inside has the signature colored banners with wallpaper of beautiful flowers and portraits of Frida Kahlo all over. Ms. Elvia was an awesome waitress. She made sure everything was perfect. She was very attentive all while attending her other tables. We had the Nachos Mexicanos and the Frida's Guacamole. And when I say those 2 dishes was very flavorful. We usually leave with a togo box. But today we ate every bit of it. The nachos filled the plate and was loaded down. The guacamole hit every tastebud. With this one visit we are certain we will be back to try other menu items.

Not at TLH, but PERIOD. It was that good. (I'll have to think about it a bit, but it's definitely in the top 5.) My single complaint: it wasn't hot. It was warm, but not hot. Didn't make it any less wonderful, but I would have liked it a little warmer. The meat was perfectly cooked and lean. The green sauce was extremely tasty. The rice was nice and buttery. The green beans with onions might actually have been the best thing on the plate, or maybe I was just in the mood for sautéed green beans. For my appetizer, I picked esquite, which is basically Mexican street corn (elote) cut off the cob. It came "separated," meaning that they didn't mix it together; I got a HEAP of corn, some mayo, some crumbled cheese, and chili powder, and mixed it to my own favorite ratio. I didn't get a picture because I was too busy eating it. Server was very attentive and I didn't have to wait at all for anything.

My family and I…read morecame here for lunch on our way home from Greenville, after stopping by a super popular joint nearby that had a 45- to 50-minute wait for lunch. We partook in the lunch specials, ordering the chicken tenders kid's meal (subbing fries with rice and beans), burrito grande (with steak and black beans) lunch special, and the Tex-Mex lunch special (you pick two from a list of items) with a beef brisket taco on soft corn tortilla and a chicken tamal. Our friendly server brought us chips and salsa to start. Our kid loves chips and was starving from the drive, so he dived in head-first. Everything was delicious, particularly the adults' meals. The rice and beans were just as fine as other Mexican restaurants that we love. The nuggets were of the ground white meat variety, and our kid is sort of picky and prefers the non-ground meat version. So he ate some at first due to his raging hunger but then tucked into some of the brisket off of my taco to round out his lunch. (No worries, his dad and I with less refined tastes took the chicken chunks home to finish, haha.) We would come back whenever in the area, especially since there is a nice outdoor patio. Don't overlook this place for a satisfying Mexican meal with welcoming service in downtown Lawrenceville.
