The $10.99 chips and homemade guacamole for 3-4 people. Great guacamole and okay chips.

We aren't from this state or even the area, but visited CCGwinnett and needed to eat lunch so once again turned to Yelp for help. Decided on Austin's because my son-in-law loves Mexican. Upon entering, I noticed it was smoky but smelled very good. Kind was funny about that thinking my coat is going to smell now. Lol Anyway, you order at the front and then find your table. However they do bring your food to your table. I was going to have a bowl which my daughter did (see pic), but noticed they said there was a shortage on lettuce and if you wanted it, you needed to pay extra. We decided against the bowl for other reasons as well. Opted to share a burrito instead with chicken. The burrito was long in size but it was packed with lots of ingredients and chicken. Super yummy and filling to split especially since we had chips and guacamole that we also shared with our two adult kids. The chicken was tender and packed with flavor. They say their guacamole is homemade. It was very good, not spicy but it could have used a bit more flavor. However for the price, our container (see pic) was filled and packed with it. The chips were okay. Nothing special nor where they warm, but okay with the guacamole. My daughter said the meat on her bowl was super tender and had lots of flavor not to mention with lots of filling. She was happy and couldn't finish it (see pic). We didn't have margaritas, but I did see them on the menu however didn't see anything to make them so I'm figuring they are the premade ones. I saw the churros and of course needed to try them since they are stuffed with chocolate. Lol They were warm to hot so be careful. The chocolate inside was yummy, but $6 for three little ones, I wouldn't buy them again. Kind of a 'one and done' thing for me. Got try them at least once. The place looked clean, didn't use the bathrooms to know how they looked. The young men working behind the counter grilling, assembling etcetera seemed kind. They were very helpful as we needed a few things from them and they responded quickly. And they were working hard at grilling those yummy meats. I'd say give Austin's a try as I know we would go back for lunch. I would have given 5* but the chips were just okay. I like mine warm.

Burrito Bowl was a good deal, had leftovers for a 2nd meal.

I think I'll give them another chance, based on the portion size for the burrito bowl and its reasonable cost, but there were a few disappointing hiccups. 1, their website has a pop-up indicating $5 off your first online order of over $20; however, the staff had absolutely no clue what that meant and said "we'll text the owner/manager and let him know", so I don't expect to ever see that $5 discount. 2. Kids meal was supposed to come with rice and beans, and even after paying extra to have chicken put into the quesadilla, there were no rice and beans included. 3. Requested no cheese in a burrito bowl, and there was cheese melted in middle layers with the pulled pork. 4. Why aren't there even a smattering of chips complimentary with any of the entrees?

Great place great food, employees were super nice and were willing to explain the menu. Ambiance wise it's awesome as well. My meal was 22 dollars though for a burrito fries and drink which is kind of pricey, Otherwise great

The best big burrito place around here! Really good chips and queso. The service is always top notch. Tip: add grilled mushrooms.

So loud that you can hardly hear the server or the person sitting next to you. They have live bands sometimes on weekends and special events. Service is kind of lacking during slow times and have to ask for items several times as the server forgets you are there. But it's usually a good time here, just not a great place to come if you don't like noise. The play the music really loud most of the time. Today i ordered from the specialty menu and they didn't put green bell peppers in my carnitas even though it is listed on the menu as bell peppers and onion. Also the slice of cheese was a lot smaller than i anticipated ( see photo ). If i would have known beforehand they called a sliver of cheese a slice i would have asked for queso as it needed a bit of something. The flavor was lacking i believe and the missing bell pepper just threw the meal off to me. I didn't say anything but they wanted to charge 2.50 more if i wanted a small side of cheese so i just said never mind and dealt with what i had. I guess i know not to come here when it isn't busy anymore... i felt like they gave us the food and forgot about us, the server was nice but it's annoying to have to ask for things more than once when they are not busy. I wont be coming back here for a while. Today, we were the only customers here besides one other couple on the other side of the restaurant.

Friday night I sat at a table with 9 other friends for dinner/music. Our checks were all inflated at the end of the night with drinks never ordered/served. We paid, thinking each of us were paying for the majority of our table... but discovered we were ALL overcharged. ****One person in our party became very ill after merely 3 beers, at 6'2" and 225lbs, had to be carried out and reports feeling drugged!**** Luckily, friends were around to quickly detect sickness and drive him home. We asked to review security footage from the night before and gave account of our night to the manager on duty Saturday morning. His lack of concern indicates a dangerously apathetic level of commitment to the safety of his patrons and the integrity of his staff. Police report is being filed, charges WILL be disputed and we will not return to Del Rio. Many friends and neighbors have come forward and reported nearly identical experiences; and one can only imagine how much worse this could have been if someone much smaller and/or alone had been the victim. I've worked in a LOT of bars, restaurants and clubs in the Atlanta area, but Del Rio Management's reaction to this type of report is a first for me. Stay Safe: Avoid Del Rio.

I feel the you really can't go wrong with Mexican, so El Fogon made the list to try. We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. Thankfully there was no wait, as I was looking forward to trying the chips and salsa. The ambience was laid back. Not to loud but not to quiet. We were able to hold a nice conversation at our table without having to yell. I decided to go light for my meal with the chicken fajita nachos. These had a slight twist as they included squash as one of the toppings. I also ordered the fried plaintains, which couldn't have been more delicious. I found that they helped break up the savory flavor from the nachos and would definitely order them again. To top of my meal, I ordered the churros for my dessert. Warm, light and crispy with a hint of sweetness was just what I needed. I'll will certainly return. As there were many other menu items I'd like to try. I will say the the menu here had many items that you wouldn't typically see on a Mexicam restaurant menu which made it very intriguing.

Very disappointed after reading the google reviews. I ordered steak street tacos. The highlight was the refried beans. The taco was just bland even with the sauce they gave me on them. For the price I could've bought three tacos that taste significantly better. No reason for me to come back. They're short handed unfortunately, so service is slow. Just be mindful of that hole you're there. I don't realize it until I walked out and saw the sign. I only saw one lady working the floor. Some other fellow was behind the bar doing nothing.

Frida's has a great outdoor dining space just as inside. Today they have decorated for Cinco De Mayo. The inside has the signature colored banners with wallpaper of beautiful flowers and portraits of Frida Kahlo all over. Ms. Elvia was an awesome waitress. She made sure everything was perfect. She was very attentive all while attending her other tables. We had the Nachos Mexicanos and the Frida's Guacamole. And when I say those 2 dishes was very flavorful. We usually leave with a togo box. The service and staff have always been very friendly and welcoming, which is something we've appreciated. Unfortunately, after eating at Frida's the day after Christmas, we both became extremely ill. Beginning the following morning and continuing throughout the day, my wife and I have been vomiting nonstop and experiencing the exact same symptoms, including chills. We can't say for certain what caused it, but the common denominator is that the last meal we both shared was from Frida's. The timing and severity of the symptoms are very concerning, and if my wife's condition doesn't improve, we may need to go to the emergency room. This has been a really upsetting experience, especially given that we've trusted this restaurant in the past. The atmosphere is warm and typical for a mom and pop restaurant with no concerns to mention. We live less than 2 1/2 miles from Fridas and consider them as our go to Mexican restaurant. I'm sharing this not to attack the staff, who have always been kind, but to honestly report what happened and hopefully encourage extra attention to food safety and quality.
