Parking was a little different since we parked across the street, but it was free, which was a nice surprise. The restrooms were clean, there were snacks and drinks available, and since we weren't sure what to expect, we ate beforehand. The real magic was watching all four of my kids, ages 4 to 12, find something they genuinely loved. That doesn't happen everywhere! From arts and crafts to climbing, sliding, exploring, and creating, there was something for every personality and energy level. No one was bored. Not even for a minute. As a mom, I appreciated the clean environment, family friendly atmosphere, and free Wi-Fi. As a M.O.M.=maker of memories maker, I loved seeing my kids laugh, play, and discover new things together. If you're looking for a place where kids can burn energy, spark creativity, and make memories, Spark is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back!

In any case, there were probably about 15 dinosaurs in total. Visitors follow a path at their own pace to view each dinosaur. Touching them is prohibited, but you can get pretty much as close as you want to observe and photograph. There is also a small dig area and a staff member walking around with a baby dino the kids can pet. Our first loop through prehistoric park took about 15 minutes. We splashed and swam a bit in the lake and then returned for another quick loop through the dinosaur trail before heading home. Overall, it's a pleasant activity and definitely a kid-pleaser. My children ages 1-9 all enjoyed it. The problem is the cost. $29 is just WAYYYY too high for what this is. Part of me thinks the city of Grapevine should just continue to charge the regular entrance fee into Meadowmere Park and use the dinosaur exhibit as a way to increase traffic into the park during the off-season. We for sure will not be returning to the park until the exhibit is over and the entrance fee returns to a more reasonable rate. If your kid loves dinosaurs and you've never been here, by all means, go, but I'd probably chalk this up to a once in a lifetime activity.

They didn't have enough seats for us, the food took forever, came out wrong, the service was slow, they were understaffed, machines were broken, I could go on...and I let that slide because the manager was apologetic and I totally get that every business has a bad day or two. Plus, it was a Sunday and I get how things can go crazy on a weekend. But this last experience? Sealed the deal for us. I won't even bring my kids back just for dinner/lunch and play time. We had a small party scheduled. There was ONE other small party. It was chaos from the get go. There was a new cashier. She entered our order wrong. The girl trying to help her? Not helpful. And it was her last night as an employee so she didn't really care much. The party started at 530. We did not get our play cards until 6pm. Thirty minutes of trying to keep the kids calm and explaining that they can go play "any minute" as soon as we get the cards. The food that we ordered at 530 didn't come out until after 630. Neither did the pizza which is supposed to be served about 20 minutes into the party. It is PIZZA. And wings and breadsticks. Not a baked Alaska. And it was not busy. WHY so long? The other party experienced the same issues. So, bonus, we made friends with the family of the other party as we commiserated over how terrible the experience was. The birthday celebrations were late, the cakes were late, and it was hard to find someone to talk to. When we did find the manager, she was nice. She apologized and tried to make up for the terrible experience. But it just continued to get worse. I went to pay the balance on our party. Stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone, anyone, to help. While I was there, another customer who just brought her kids in for family night was also waiting. She said they waited for 20 minutes to place their food order, and an hour later it still had not come out. Shortly after she and I spoke, her order came out wrong! Jeez if you're gonna take an hour to make pizza, at least make it right! So finally I get to pay waaaaay too much money for this complete and total letdown, and in the middle of the transaction, the manager who is ringing me up darts off because the girl who is quitting has destroyed the pizza oven, apparently. If you thought the wait for food was long before...just wait. So there I am, waiting for my receipt. And waiting. And waiting. And you get the idea. So finally I have just had enough and I storm off when the new girl finally asks if I need something. THEN she calls the manager to give me my receipt. By that time, we had been at Chuck E. Cheese for 4 hours and I was done. I didn't even let my kids get toys for their tickets because I was so frustrated. Here's the thing. This happened TWICE in one year. I can chalk the first one up as a fluke, but I have to say, if it happens twice, it's probably business as usual for them. In fact, I can only remember visiting this location once and having everything go smoothly. It was on a weekday during the school year. The manager on duty that night was very concerned and I don't want to call her out. She did the best she could. But it was obvious that she was in over her head and wasn't properly supported by her managers or the franchise owners. From all our experiences here, I bet this is probably the norm. If you are coming on a weekday, it will probably be an okay experience for you. If you are planning a party, I would probably pick a different location....

We got the basic package (blue) for my ten year old and 13 of his friends for a birthday. We only stayed about 2 hours and for the blue pass that seemed like plenty. The kids got to do bumper cars, the battle area (like laser tag but with foam balls), the slides, the ball pit, the jumping area, and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. All in all the spot is clean, staffed well and a fun kids entertainment spot. We didn't do the zip lining or ropes courses but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything either.

I showed up early to our slot and was the first one let in about 5 min early. Everything had been reset for our session - they did have walk ins as well. During our visit a total of 5/6 other kids and their parents. About 9/10 play stations available so plenty of space and options. My sons favorites were the house and dessert shop. Entrance is about $13 includes 2 hours and a snack when they leave which is a nice transition! The employee was so kind and always had the most beautiful smile on. I really enjoyed this and was surprised my son lasted the whole time playing!
