I hadn't been for years. It's pretty much the same as it always was. The pizza is mediocre, the salad bar is fresh and full, but the selection of items is limited. The chicken soup was surprisingly pretty tasty; pasta and sauces were available as well. The roving busser was pleasant and hard working. The cashiers were pleasant and efficient. I Cici what you did there. Obviously Terry is right and this is one of the worst pizza places you'll ever eat at. In fact it might be the worst chain of all. But having said that there are certain locations where they have higher standards, especially in terms of service and ownership, and this is one of those. I have to revise this review. After visiting today, the salad section was nowhere near the quality it used to be. I asked the guy at the cash register if this CC's had been sold and he said yes, it's under new ownership. Before when I came in and paid for the buffet the Manager would ask what kind of pizza I wanted and if I wanted it for the line or if I wanted it for the table and I was not offered that today. The pizza selection was very low and barely kept up with the small crowd. The pizza that was out had almost no cheese or toppings mainly sauce. You don't go to a Cicis for an upscale meal, but having raised the price, they should cover the basics. The last 3 visits, the salad bar was full, but had really awful looking carrots and mushrooms. Look, you're not coming here to eat pizza from a guy named Mario who immigrated from Italy 36 years ago. You're coming here b/c your kids can eat a small buffalo in pizza for cheap. The location is about 3 years old but still has a refreshed, "newer" vibe. Great staff and managers that really go above and beyond. For example, whenever major sporting events are on, they make sure the TVs are set. Today, it was a friendly soccer match between MEX vs USA. The salad bar has about 4 additional fresh options than typical Cicis. I know this may not sound like much but at other locations you can tell it's just not important to them. For a Cici's, this is the example they aspire for. Great staff, excellent food, clean location. Tip: This is the best one of the Katy Cici's, with Katy Mills next then the Fry's location. read more

First of all, I just love how friendly all of the employees are each time I visit. I absolutely love pizza, but being a keto eater, it's hard to find a keto friendly crust, or a place willing to make a crustless pizza. Cici's is my favorite pizza place because you can go up to the buffet, grab a pizza request form and pick all of your toppings and request it be made in a bowl instead of on a crust. And, while you wait for your custom order.....Chow down on a really fresh salad from the salad bar. Truly not much more to report about this brand. They have the same great staff from up the road with a tad bit less inside room. Overall though, unless you frequented the other location, you would not truly notice the small square footage. You still receive service with a smile. Also, you always have the manager ensuring that he greets everyone that comes in! Don't completely remember WiFi in the last location, but there is free WiFi at this location. It's not "artisanal non-GMO gluten free organic" - but neither are the prices. Cicis is good, cheap pizza. At $6 plus drink, it's a pretty good value. Install the app and get a free buffet every few visits, when you scan your receipts. Kids love it because they get to choose what they want from the buffet. The staff at this location is friendly; I wish I had gotten the guy's name that took care of our family today - he was super friendly and even made us the pizza we wanted when we couldn't find it. This is my go to Cici's because it is always so fresh and service is wonderful at this location. I ordered a breadsticks and a pizza during this whole coronavirus takeout only mess. The bread sticks and pizza were done earlier than the time I requested. (They made too early by mistake). The cashier checked my pizzas and realized that fact and quickly offered to make new ones. I didn't have any issues with taking the ready ones but I was told it was not up to their standards to do that. They insisted, apologized and quickly made a new order for me and took care of the "older ones". I felt really bad on how sorry they were, but great service to "make it better". Even though there were "older ones" and newer ones, they were still all so good in taste. All pizzas were still 5/5! :) read more

Management changed here around March/April 2019 and the new manager (man with gray hair) is rude and impolite, which also seemed to affect the formerly-friendly staff. Don't expect the friendly service you used to get here. We all know the food quality is average for the price, but good customer service is what keeps customers. We tried to go back a few times this Spring and early Summer to see if maybe it was an off night, but no. We'll never go again to this location after the manager walked away not wanting to make a custom pizza as ordered. Do we really need someone with a sour attitude arguing with us over pizza toppings and sauce? I only give 2 stars for the staff who likely have difficulty working under the new manager. We have several other locations in the region to choose from and this one, which used to be our primary one, is no longer one of them. read more

While I haven't eaten at CiCi's in a decade now, I think countless birthday parties, soccer parties, Friday-night takeouts and a full summer as an employee here (my first "real" job ever) qualify me to tell you with resounding authority, "Don't bother!" This pizza might just be where they came up with the cardboard crust comparison. Other kids guzzled their alfredo pie growing up; I preferred the cheese with tomato sauce or the mediocre veggie pie (they get precut fresh veggies from a franchise distributor, unless it's canned stuff (shrooms, olives, anchovies) and the meats are all refrigerated an pre-prepped, but dough is from scratch according to a bland recipe). The chocolate 'dessert bread' is the highlight, mainly as a conveyor of thick fudge sauce. The garlic cheese bread is the same crust but with a different topping and thus good too. The Bavarian cream stuff is the same, as well. The 'dessert pizzas' are canned pie filling on a regular pizza crust. The owner here was pretty nice for a guy who has to boss around minimum-wage employees all day long. I nearly got fired my first week for not yelling, "HI, WELCOME TO CICI'S!" loudly enough as I languished behind the 100-degree-plus heat of the buffet, though. I was never cut out for food service. It's a place for people to pig out on the cheap (was $3.99 when I worked there, now something like $5.99 AYCE + the cost of a drink). If you want to pig out, be my guest. I might wait another 10 years before I give this particular buffet another chance. read more

I've been going to this location for years. It's a great place to hang out and get buffet pizza. The manager is really friendly and remembers his customers. He also takes time to walk around and see if you need anything specially made for you. They have a "happy hour" between 2pm-4pm on the week days for the budget-conscious. Only $3.99, plus drink. Regular price is $5.99, plus drink. I like coming here with my family or friends, just to hang out over some good pizza.
