From when me and my husband walked in the cashier was not smiling, didn't greet us, she acted like we were bothering her by the look on her face we didn't do her nothing but literally just enter the restaurant. The worker at the time, Fred, had a certain demeanor about him that I couldn't figure out at first. As I shut down my first plate and got up for another one, Fred noticed my concern with the buffet selections and immediately asked if I would like to have a custom pizza made...if you know me, you know I LOVE having something made specifically for me! I used to go to Cici's all the time when I lived in Georgia and I loved it, was never disappointed. I saw this place and was so excited because I haven't had them since I lived in Georgia. The salad bar was pretty good and the veggies were fresh. The Italian dressing was too salty for my taste, but what's worse is that the pour spout was messed up and dressing squirted everywhere when I went to add it to my salad. The Alfredo sauce was pretty good, but the marinara and pizza sauce both tasted like the basic canned Del Monte sauce. On the plus side with the pizza, it looks like the slices got bigger since the last time I was there. However, the spinach Alfredo pizza was bland and dry, as was the white pizza. I wasn't impressed with the stuffed crust, but I didn't expect much for $5.99 anyway. The best pizza they had was the ham and cheddar, since they didn't have any buffalo or barbecue chicken pizza out. The apple crisp dessert pizza was good as usual, but the brownies were way undercooked and too gooey. As for the staff, it appears that none of them want to be there. I went at about 4:40ish, to try and beat the dinner rush. At about 5:05, some person comes walking in talking to one of the staff clearing tables, trying to get him to buy drugs or smoke up with him. I don't know, I heard something about weed. The dinner staff showed up at about 5:10, so maybe it's just a lack of good management here. Either way, I wouldn't recommend coming to this location; incidents like these are probably the reasons that most Cici's are getting shut down. read more

Hello and greetings fellow yelpers, I must warn you this review is not going to be pretty. I normally am a very kind yelper, giving three to four stars as I am critical but realistic. Alas, I must sadly state that this place is a greasy mess sent from the spawn of Satan himself. As I stepped in I waited 3-5 minutes for the bus boy to quickly run to the cash register and charge me, as the 5 employees working the area were chatting laughing ignoring my cousins and I. Immediately after getting rung up I realized what I stepped into, walking with my head down as everything in the salad bar seemed to be missing. The brownies are the only good part and as I scooped up bits and crumbs of remnants of the delicacy to no surprise it was stale. I sighed slowly heading back to the food area after going through a plate of stale greasy food, looked at the brownie area and an employee, expecting them to realize my concern as they simply looked at it and walked away. I wheeped inside as I tried to partake in a second helping when I realized how badly the grease was effecting my stomach. To no avail, I finished the pizza pie and took off, cursing the name of Ci Ci's and promising myself to never go back. This place was packed from the moment we got there until the moment we left, yet the staff kept a positive attitude and kept the pizzas coming (and everything else). From the person cleaning the floors, to the person cashiering and answering the phone and greeting people all at once, they were all on it and in a good mood which made for a good experience. Arrived at 6:19. Tables filthy (more than 75% of them filthy), many un-bussed. Signs on each table says to take care of your own trash and plates. Busboy finally came around at 6:40 it so to wipe down tables. Men's bathroom messy too. And soda fountain was a disaster. Salt & pepper bins...how many weeks since they were cleaned out. Food was better than Calallen location, but so dirty here, we will not return. Not employees fault....thus us all BAD MANAGEMENT. I don't usually rate a one star but this establishment earned it. The food area had multiple flaws: 1. No food? Cashier didn't even offer warning/heads up (there maybe a wait on your food please be patient with us, kind of explanation) before I paid. Taking my $ and not delivering product rubs me just a little raw. The salad bar was scarce, many of the pans for vegetables were bare. No noodles in the "Italian food" area so no pasta for the kiddos. As far as the pizza goes, I saw plenty of label's of where pizza normally, goes but only empty pans and lonely spatulas to accompany said signs. I grew up in the food industry, so for me to leave a review such as this for any restaurant establishment is difficult but this is warranted. 2. Employees discussing behind food line issues/drama in the dining area. There's a walk-in, office, stockroom for that, not the dining area. The restaurant was apparently "in the weeds" and although I understand breaks are state law, if your team members need you, you usually don't just relax in the dining room and laugh, gock, you get up and give them some relief, help-"Ayuda"-for you non-Spanish speaking folks! Went for lunch today & will NOT be back. Upon entering a Mexican man was asleep on a table & when after about 30 minutes he woke up, they did not even clean the table. HE on the other hand went to work at Cici's in his filthy shirt with greasy hair. A black man was in the bathroom stall when my husband went in to urinate & the smell was enough to gag a maggot.
