I asked my daughter if she wanted to join me for lunch, she said yes. When I asked where she wanted to go to my surprise she said, Cici's Pizza Buffet. So, off we went to Cici's. The restaurant was very maticulous, very neat in appearance, clean and well organized. When we walked in there was a pretty lady at the register Ms. Athena. She promptly greeted us, with a nice smile, politeness and was very friendly. Mr. Jose, the GM, of this restaurant also greeted us he too was very friendly and very polite and happy to see us there. It's well evident that his staff truly respect him and all were diligently working, cleaning and bringing out fresh pizza. The buffet setup was very well organized the salad bar looked really awesome with a fresh variety of vegetables, and salad dressings, the pasta bar included what I call elbow macaroni with tomato sauce, as well as chicken soup. The pizza bar included a variety of toppings for those who don't eat meats, or pork products like me. The dessert bar I felt was lacking, but what they had there was delicious. My salad was fresh with crisp lettuce, carrots, onions, croutons, black olives and cherry tomatoes. The cheese sticks carried great flavor, the chicken soup was great and very tasty, the spinach pizza, was nice and creamy, the cheese pizza was tasty as was the buffalo chicken pizza and well seasoned. Actually, this place deserves 0 stars. Went there with a coupon, and they wouldn't honor it! The girl at the counter said that it wasn't good for Thursdays! There was no indication to that effect printed anywhere on the coupon. She said that CORPORATE made a mistake, and it was only good for a few days, but not Thursdays...WOW!!! I haven't been to Cicis pizza in years.My wife wanted to go and she has been a couple of times here recently.The buffet is like 9 bucks which is still pretty good.I paid then went and got me a plate.They had several different types of pizza and a nice little salad bar.With a couple of dessert options.So I grabbed a couple of slices of pizza a salad and a couple of pieces of cheese sticks.The pizza is pretty much as I remember.Not bad but nothing spectacular.And if you don't see anything you like just ask for it and they will bring you your own little pizza.For the dessert you have brownie squares and a apple crisp.I didn't care for the brownie but I did like the apple crisp.Overall it's not bad for what it is.It's not a place I'll be heading back to any time soon.Maybe something I'll re visit every once in awhile. read more

Well I'm thankful for this Cici's and they have won us over! We have 2 Cici's closer to home. One we quit going to because it never felt clean, service & stock on the buffet was always lacking ... and there was always kids running around everywhere. The other location near home that is clean and staff is nice but they never stock their buffet in a way that makes sense. Like they have various meat pizzas, veggie pizzas but we've never seen a regular cheese pizza on the buffet and that's one of the kinds you should always stock on a buffet. This one was clean, staff friendly, and buffet stocked in a way that makes sense. A cheese & Pepperoni always on the line, then an assortment of other pizzas! We plan on making this location our primary Cici's in the future, and in a regular rotation on the occasions I need to stop to eat somewhere with the kids on a night they have a lot going on. read more

Stopped in again today for takeout this time ordered my favorite pork barbecue pizza was sitting there waiting for it and called my mom because she has been sick and to see if there was anything I could pick her up and she said some good chicken soup when my pizza was ready, the gentleman behind the counter. (HEALTH STANDARDS) My family has been visiting this location for a couple of years. Good food reasonably priced. This past visit though was something different and a cause for concern. Came in and got 3 buffets/drinks. There was an employee scraping the sides of the salad bar to remove ice build up(?). (Something that should be done at closing ...) The ice was literally flying all over the rest of the uncovered salad bar as the employee scraped the sides. The employee was not wearing gloves as well. This is the worst cicis I have ever been to. I'm a closing manager at a burger joint in HEB and I have never seen such an unprofessional closing crew. For starters, I took my little sisters and their friends here after a great day at six flags. We got there at 9:10 and the restaurant was supposed to close at 10:00. But around 9:30 I noticed they started to put all of the food away. I was a little frustrated because it was already $50 for us to get in. Then at 9:42 (looked at my phone) the manager turned off the open sign. I was thinking "damn, this place is pretty uncomfortable honestly" then the manager with a greasy ponytail walked up to my table and looked at my eight year old sister and said "so were you not able to find the water button?!" In the most dick manner possible. If the jerk looked closer, he would have seen that I had switched our cups and the child's soda cup had water in it, and the water cup had lemonade. Look, I've fallen victim to acting as the soda police at my restaurant, but I have never confronted a child like that. I was completely flabbergasted and disgusted in the moment. I told him after she put lemonade In the water cup, I explained to her that she wasn't supposed to use that cup like that- and moved on. At the end of the day, I payed $50 for a buffet that they started packing up 30 minutes before they closed so we really didn't even get to eat much- and then was harassed by a man who looked like a child predator with that nasty ponytail. The staff was walking around the whole time we were there just grabbing food off the trays with their bare hands and eating the food while walking through the restaurant. Not to mention- as we were walking out, the manager had a little boy (I'm assuming his son who was probably like six) run out of the kitchen and start climbing on the counter.
