Probably didn't do a review the first time as it was a family gathering and I was preoccupied. This visit, we opted to sit outside, in front. It was pleasant enough temperature wise, but it's very close to the main street and when some vehicle with loud engine or muffler came by, well, didn't help with conversations. Ok, waitress came out and friendly greeting, took our drink order. Came back in a short while and took our order, then was right back with our beverages. She was very good about checking in on us every so often. Gotta say, they have one of the best Espresso martinis I've had. And a wide variety of bourbon, too. On to dinner. I ordered a Burger that came with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, pickle and their special sauce. The burger itself was good, honestly, I've had better but that was at a place specializing in burgers. It came with their "chips" which are thin cross-cut fries that were actually quite good. Also ordered a 1/2 ceasar salad, it was a typical Caesar salad. My wife ordered the Shepard pie, she really liked it and it was large enough for her to eat only half and bring the other half home. The other gentleman in our group ordered the fish sandwich with side salad . It was a pretty big piece of fish and he said it was good. So, as I mentioned earlier, my wife and I had been there before and we will probably go again, this time I'll get the shepherds pie and try the hot honey carrots that sound good!

Unique and interesting cocktail list, I had the "Well Water" which was fresh light and tasty but potent. My husband had the red blend wine and liked it a lot. Food was fabulously delicious, nicely presented, and very generous portions. One of the best Shepherds Pies ever, and those corned beef egg rolls were loaded with fillings. They could be a meal in themselves. An unexpected salad accompanied the Shepherds Pie, dressed with a creamy Malt Vinegar dressing- wow! Never had anything quite like it. One thing I found odd was the absence of salt and pepper and any condiments at all. I probably could have used a bit of HP Sauce or similar on the bangers, but everything was so good and there was so much we just fell to and really didn't miss it. Our waitress did not miss a beat in having our leftovers neatly wrapped up for us. This is located at the dead end of Monument Avenue right by the Log Cabin and Soldiers Monument so you can enjoy some history. Plenty of parking including disabled spots but you do have to walk around the corner for the entrance. Needless to say, we will be back! Highly recommended.

I asked for a nice table, but they sat us next to the bar... I'm not sure why since the other dining room was open and no one was in there eating The food was no better than what you could get at the Denny's restaurant... the service was no better than a poorly managed diner, and the ambience was that of a slightly elevated cafeteria... Flavorless, dry salmon, a house wine that ended up being sparkling, despite the fact that it didn't claim to be so on the menu, and a waitress in blue jeans and a sweatshirt that might as well have been working at McDonald's... If you're going to claim to be a fine dining restaurant... Maybe you should pay a little more attention to the fine detail. I can't recommend this restaurant unless you're all about paying a lot of money for very little wow factor.

You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.
