Been here a number of times. You can't beat unlimited chips and different salsa and sauces to try. The chicken sometimes can be dry in main dishes. I'm not vegetarian but the veggie enchiladas and chilli rellenos are best around. The hosts and waiters/waitresses are friendly and helpful. My issues with this place: 1. One time a cleaner tried to lift a table over my sons stroller instead of warning and asking us to move the stroller. Very unsafe! 2. People smoke outside near the entrance. Someone blew smoke on my 7 month old Management needs to resolve these issues for me to come back. Not kid friendly. read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars because of the service. The food was good and it's pretty much identical to other Chuy establishments. When we came the bathroom was broken and was never fixed during our stay. Our waiter came and got our order, then we never saw him again. Other servers gave us our drinks and food. There seemed to be a designated chip re-filler person, but she never came to our table, even when we waved her over, so we didn't get more chips. I asked for a side of ranch and I had to ask 3 different people for it, but never got it till the very end. We finally saw our original waiter again when we needed the bill. We were never asked if we wanted anything else, or how our food was. It was a very frantic meal experience and frustrating when you don't have a set waiter. read more

I got the Baja fish tacos while I was here. Don't make the same mistake, they tasted like frozen breaded fish fillets. Definitely far from fresh. Man this food was good! I literally ate everything on my plate! The staff was super laid back about making substitutions and kept bringing chips and filling drinks without having to wave them down. I was completely underwhelmed by Chuy's last night. I ordered a bowl of tortilla soup. It was missing some of the ingredients which the waitress promptly brought. Even with that, and an addition of hot sauce it was completely bland chicken soup. My husband ordered a chile rellano and enchilada plate. It was obvious that the chiie was frozen and not fresh, like cardboard. The enchilada was equally as bland as the soup. I give two starts for the great waitress, the fresh tortillas, and fresh salsa. Multiple types of salsa to choose from and all free. One even has meat in it and one has caramelized onions in it. Pico was solid. Guac was solid and they offered double when I said no sour cream for my fajitas. If you being a framed picture of your dog they put it on wall and give you free appetizer. That was 5 star maker for me. But regardless it was solid 4-4.5 star Tex mex and kudos for free and crazy salsa options (creamy jalepeno is must on chips and on your food) and double guac for free!!! I visit this Chuys maybe twice a week because I love the food and the servers are always very friendly. Last week I went and I had one of the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Everything was going great we got our chips and drink and we're waiting on our food. I went to take another sip of my drink & I noticed a roach right next to my drink on the table. Luckily one of my friends killed it but it was really disgusting. I told one of the servers and they had someone come out and speak to us and apologized and moved us to another table. Which was appreciated but it was only one booth over from where we were. Once I received my food I wasn't even able to finish it. I was eating a ground beef burrito( I actually wanted fajita beef but they were out) I literally couldn't eat my food without thinking about the roach I saw earlier. The food disgusted me and I left about 3/4 of it on the plate. When I mentioned it to the server she acted like she didnt hear me and didnt offer to replace it with something else or even comp my meal. Over all very disappointed with the customer service that was provided. I love Chuys but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. Hopefully this feedback helps the Management at this location improve and take care of customers. read more

My family and I just ate dinner there. I have not been to a Chuy's in a few years since I was in Nashville. Now they have a location down the street from me. When we walked it in was busy but told us it was only a 15 mins wait. A server came and offer drinks for happy hour in the lobby area. Which was great and they had a nacho bar too. We got seated and the server was very pleasant. We got our drinks fast and ordered. Within 10 mins of ordering we got your food. Prefacing this review with the fact we've been to this Chuy's many times, love the food, & always have had great service whether sitting in the bar area or the general restaurant area. Today we came in to celebrate our wedding anniversary & we were really in the mood for Chuy's. We got there about 5:20pm. No waiting & got seated in the general restaurant area. We sat there & watched 3 servers walk past us several times & look at us, but do nothing. I went to the hostess to ask if there was a server assigned to our table because of this. She replied "yes, but they are in the middle of a shift change so someone will be along in a minute". I returned to our table, waited several more minutes while a fourth server walked past our table, looking at us, & then made a full circle back into the kitchen. Yep, we got up to leave, but asked for the manager in the lobby. And here's why this review is a 5-star..... the manager, Alan, really stepped up to the plate. He apologized (no if's, and's, or but's). Just a really sincere apology & put us into the bar area with a super guy, Jordan, who was also bartending. Alan treated us to a huge appetizer to start off the apology. We really appreciated everything this evening. A simple apology, great food, & great service. Thank you!! read more

Compared to another Chuy's location I have visited, this location leaves a lot to be desired. Mind you, I sat at the bar, where service is usually better in most restaurants. The service was lackluster, the food was mediocre at best, very much lacking flavor. The drink I had, however, was pretty good. Someone tell me how a Tex-Mex restaurant the calls itself a Tex-Mexican place doesn't serve Carne asada? Oh you can have carne guisada if you're in town on Saturdays. As far as their vegetable plates or anything they serve the main ingredient is jalapeño. You get jalapeños to the point they are coming out your nose. What makes them think everybody eats jalapeños? Now when it comes to the chips poorly made over salted and Paperthin to the point they constantly break and you have to pull them out of the dip. The overall experience was very disappointing, management doesn't seem to really care they think they're doing a great job. I have eaten at many Chuy's nationwide and this is the sorriest Chuy's I've ever eaten at. I highly recommend if you were in the mood for Mexican or tex-mex Find another place to eat. Just the nonchalant None caring attitude is really the most disappointing, I promise once you taste authentic Tex-mex food . you won't eat there anymore. Our 3rd time here and like the two previous times, our dining experience was great. Everything is fresh and it tastes like it. I had fajitas this trip and they arrived sizzling and delicious. Hubby had flautas (again) and they were tasty and crispy. The iced tea is always fresh (you can always tell when it isn't! !!) and glass was replaced with another without having to ask.
