Great spot for a quick and friendly lunch or dinner. We bring all our out of town guest.

Time after the time we go for the tasty chips and crack sauce and are left disappointed because of the quality and quantity of their entrees. Last night we got the fajaitas for 2 for $30 and it had 6 slices of chicken and 6 slices of steak. Biggest rip off! Stick to the free chips and happy hour margaritas read more

I love the food. But this is the second I've asked to make a to-go order and i have someone say they'll get someone....and that "someone" never comes. I tried to call but... no answer. I will go to the other locations but not Franklin. read more

Love the food here, good beer and good service. Can't beat the carne-queso dip and chips!

The only reason why I am giving it two stars is because the server was friendly and the hospitality was good. My husband and I went there on a Wednesday evening for dinner and were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The first serving of chips and salsa was good. Salsa was fresh and chips were warm and nicely baked. But when we received a refill, The chips that came with salsa were dripping with oil and were pretty disgusting. For the main course I ordered a veggie combination that came with a chilie cheese relleno and a veggie enchilada. This was served with a side of refried beans and some mexican rice. The beans and rice were almost cold by the time they came to my table. The enchiladas tasted fine but the relleno again was disappointing. The cheese in the relleno was disgustingly chewy and seemed stale. Nothing on my platter felt like it was made fresh even though the server said that they prepared everything fresh. It was disappointing. Given a choice I wouldn't go to chuy's again. read more

Took family to Chuy's this past Sunday. The service is very good. We were attended to quite well. One of our dishes came out wrong and it was replaced and on the house. The food is where I have to unfortunately be somewhat critical. The food tastes like it comes from a large chain, like TGIF for example. It tastes as though it comes out of a bag. It does not have the freshly prepared with local ingredients taste. For example, the guacamole was just okay. In fact it was somewhat bland. The bold flavors that come with Tex-Mex food were missing. Again, great people and concept, but marginal food. read more

Tonight was my first time eating at this establishment and ordered a taco salad. As I got close to the bottom of the shell there was a dead roach. I was very surprised and our table communicated with management. Management was rude and upset that this had even been communicated to them. I was then asked to identify the bug which was obviously a roach. The manager then asked if I thought it was from their lettuce distributor.... I obviously have very little knowledge regarding this restaurant as it was my first time going. I recomend when something like this happens again be more respectful to customers and dont grow angry when this happens. read more

I ordered Southwest. The food was good and came in great quantity for the price I was paying. My waitress Melody took good care of me. Since it was first time here (came on my colleague's recommendation), I didn't explore much. I loved the music and the ambiance. Refreshing. Will definitely come back. And thank you Melody. read more

This is probably one of my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at the food is wonderful however the customer service could still improve

Like most chains, almost all the food is reasonably good. I think the enchiladas and fajitas (particularly the steak) are fantastic (strangely enough, the kids chicken fingers are also excellent). Salsa is ok. Chips are ok. Service is ok. I don't drink alcohol in public, but I've been told the Margaritas are good for the price. The main plus is consistency. It has never been bad. read more

I usually love Chuy's but my recent trip to this location was a bit of a let down. The shrimp tacos I ordered did not come with a flour tortilla, as listed, and was corn instead. I ordered the other beans (not refried but barro? I think they are called) and I was brought refried. The proportion of alcohol to flavorings in the margarita were off. The waiter (may have been having a bad day) was not attentive and did not seem to care about his job. It was just a very disappointing experience. Positive notes: crispy shrimp, always good chips, dip, and salsa. The read more

We were celebrating my kids last day in school for the summer. They wanted to go to Chuy's and eat outside. We are a large family of 7. My kids ages are 9, 8, 7 and two 4 year olds. We were told they would not sit us outside because they were unwilling to push two 4 top tables together but we could sit inside at a round table of 8. My kids really wanted to sit outside and I asked what was the difference and why they could not do it since a table of 8 was allowed inside. The manager told me if they did it for one they would have to do it for everyone and how could they verify we were in the same family. My kids are you very young and it is obvious we are in the same family. Manager was unwilling because it was policy which made no sense because inside there was a table for 8. My kids were very disappointed and we went away. Kids were upset and crying. We love Chey's we used to go there a ton even on just a date with my wife but I can say we won't be back for a long time even once this Insane policy is changed if not ever again. Which is sad because your jalapeño dip is amazing. read more

At this point of moving from Colorado to Tennessee I am convinced there is no real Mexican food restaurants in TN! No one knows what green chili or a crispy chili relleno is???? When I go back home to CO I plan to eat real Mexican food everyday to try and get my fix in! read more

This time our culinary adventure takes us on a trip to the southern Texas border for some great Tex-Mex. Normally we try to stay away from chain and corporate restaurants but after eating the food I had to write about it. If you have never eaten at Chuy's and like Tex-Mex, you must try this place. The restaurant is very bright and colorful just as you would expect to find in Mexico. When you sit down in the middle dining room you can even watch a girl making fresh tortillas right there on a large, round, hot stone. The stone is spinning and she is feverishly placing the tortillas to heat them up and by the time they make one round they are done. We took this as a good sign. The menu gives you a lot to choose from. As I look over the menu for the first time, I see many things that I would like to try, shrimp, steak, and/or chicken fajitas (yes you can pick one or a combination) and there are a lot of choices that come with green chili sauce on it. Of course they have great margarita's including our favorite with a cerveza in it. Might as well enjoy the ambiance and alcohol while we wait for the food. As with any Tex-Mex or Mexican restaurant you do get chips and salsa on the table but Chuy's also leaves a second bowl of their jalapeno ranch. My wife could drink this stuff she loves it so much. Even on a busy weekend night we don't have to wait very long for our food. Since I got the fajitas (of course I got the trio with steak, chicken and shrimp) we can hear our food long before it reaches the table. The smells are out of this world. The fajitas have just the right amount of charring on the meat and the vegetables. My wife tried the Chicken Velvet Enchiladas which two chicken and cheese stuffed enchiladas smothered in a creamy green chili sauce. You can taste that the tortillas are handmade. Every visit since this first one was the same quality and included exceptional customer service. I give them 5 guitars and for me to give this to a chain is a big deal. We have never had bad service but our favorite server is Kaleb. Ask for him and he will take great care of you. read more

I must say, Chuy's have become my favorite since living here in Nashville. I am currently at the Franklin location and im definitely not disappointed. I was seated in no time, no wait on my food. Had a Sangria, shrimp Quesadilla and all GOOD! The outside area is SWEEET! Yep Im a fan! And Michael Moore was a excellent waiter! Kept check on the customers and his mannerisms are SUPERB! read more

Chuy's - Shrimp Quesadilla. YUM! - Tex-Mex Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

Lunch on a Tuesday with a 3yo. Hmmm..... Quickly seated and server brought out chips, salsa and dip. Excellent!!! Fresh and tasty but the ranch-jalapeño sauce was the bomb!! Kids quesadilla and ff for the boy was a hit. I ordered the Elvis Memorial #2 for some variety. Pretty tasty and plenty of food. The quest was particularly yummy. Good service to boot!! I'll be back.... read more

Terrible restaurant. It starts with the WORST parking in town and ends with mediocre food and service. Go to Taco Bell you'll leave happier and richer. read more

Went on a Tuesday night and took almost an hour to get our food. The food was ok, but an hour to do a kids burger, quesadilla, taco salad, and taco and enchilada seems extreme. read more

Good food and perfect when traveling so you can stick to something everyone already knows. We have 4 kids so sometimes eating on the road generates fits cause our picky eaters don't know what to get. Chuys is always a win for good food and coloring sheets! We came mid day during the week and were seated and served promptly. Our family of 6 was in and out in just under an hour, with free ice cream =) read more

Chuy's - Tex-Mex Near Me - Franklin, Tennessee

Got in super fast after checking in (note: Use the "Join the Waitlist" feature, especially if it's a Friday or Saturday night! It will keep you from having to wait an hour for a table.). The food was delicious, per usual. Always love the Creamy Jalapeño dressing/dip. And the service was fast and friendly. All in all, exactly what you'd expect at Chuy's. read more

I love all types of Mexican food. And this is really good classic Tex-mex. Everything from the chips and Margaritas to the friendly wait staff is always reliably good here. read more

Seriously the worst! The food was abysmal, there's just no other word. Ordered the Chuychonga and it was inedible. The chicken was rubbery, cold in the middle and tortilla was soggy (even though I ordered it with sauce on the side). My child's quesadilla was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted- how does that happen? It was honestly bad enough that I sent them both back, asked for a cup or tortilla soup, which took so long to get that by the time they brought it out, I had to ask for a to-go container, as the rest of our party was done. Beyond that, once I tasted the soup - it was simply chicken soup?!? Where exactly does the "tortilla/spice" come in?! I'm still a bit confused! Service was average, the place could use a good cleaning, overall pretty subpar in my estimation. Won't be back. read more

I always order the quesadillas now. Their hand pressed tortillas taste like you're eating a quesadilla on a biscuit. So good.

I miss my tex mex from Texas, and this is about as good as it gets around Nashville. Having said that, this Chuy's is about standard compared to other Chuy's across the countries. The food has upset my stomach a few times...not sure if it's not kept at the right temp during prep or what...but it hasn't been anything I can't handle to get my tex mex fix. Wait staff is nice, decent service speed. read more

This is my 3rd time ordering Chuy's from this location. I am not sure if it's all chuys but this one certainly disappointed for the 3rd time. I give people and places the benefit of the doubt. The cook may have had a bad day or I may have just had a bad day but this day I was excited for nachos. Thinking I'd get chicken cheese lettuce tomatoes piled high with their crack sauce. YUM. However much to my dismay I open up a pizza box with 8 (I counted) tortilla chips with cold melted cheese granted I did get it to go but this was sad. 8 chips with cold melted cheese. THATS IT. My lettuce tomato and jalapeños were in a separate box slimy from wet lettuce. Let alone we wanted extra chips specifically 4 bags of chips to eat. We got 1 small bag with broken chips. Chuys has always been over priced for their sad portions and unappealing food. Chuys get it together. read more

We ate at this location in September of 2016, so I'm posting a bit late. Great service, very funny and personable server!! I don't recall her name; I apologize to her if she's reading. The food was good! I actually said I wish we had one nearby (in Northwest Arkansas), and found out later we do, in Rogers. I ordered enchiladas, and queso for the table. My mom ordered chicken sour cream enchiladas, but she couldn't finish her meal -- there was a lot! We both commented that the music was insanely too loud!! The large party next to us was in competition with the music and the manager finally turned it down -- the music, not the loud party. Otherwise, I enjoyed the ambiance and the food. I'll definitely try the Rogers, AR location, and I'll definitely be back to the Franklin, TN location!! read more

i have visited this Chuy's for several years on my yearly trip to Franklin. This weekend it was not good. I had my usual Chuyconga which comes with beans and rice. The "beans" were runny/watery/soupy - running all over the plate. Not a whole bean or any recognizable part of a bean in it. The Chuyconga had just the taste of boiled chicken. The Chuyconga's description says it has a drizzle of sour cream. How about a dollop of real sour cream and a dollop of avocado? I had to ask for napkins which came some time after the salsa and another dipping sauce. Will find another restaurant when I visit there next time. If anyone wants great beans cooked at a restaurant, try Molly's in Memphis. They are cooked by Molly's personal recipe. read more

Chuy's, you've lost your way. From the management down to the food, it's all gone downhill. Waited an extra long time for food tonight, an extra long time for a replacement meal when it was delivered cold, and no apology or making it right. You might want to consider hiring some quality staff that can spread some training in food service. Being told that "I'm too tired to be here tonight" by our wait staff, we'll, that was the icing on the taco. read more
